I want to stop recieving text messages.

Dont bother doing anything except ignoring those messages. The entire set up is a scam so sending a reply is pointless. If you have a smartphone you can easily block numbers.  There are free apps for that and even your carrier has options.

Never shop at walmart so how can i win.  Annoying text.  Free money.

Yes, it is a scam.  Guess we all know who is running it now, don't we?  I'm sure your family enjoys having a common thief in the mix.

hey receive a msg from 1866-718-7045 saying I won $250 voucher gift card that can use a walmart and other places. Did you use yours at walmart.

They called me seven times yesterday then this morning received the text.And all calls were from different numbers then they called from a private number.Persistent pests.

Usually when I look up numbers there's nothing there.  Thanks for the heads up. Just FYI this is STILL going on from whatever obnoxious company it started with.

I got the same type of survey, from a site I was looking at [cyclegrear], so figured it was ok to answer. then i got lots of phone calls, only one that didn't immediately hang up, and one that asked to speak with me then hung up. at the same time i started getting texts. i texted 'stop' to 2 different texts and now I have a 3rd! Does anyone know if this is more than the effort to get a mag sub? does anyone know they can somehow auto charge you in anyway by replying to the text [even stop] or calling the phone#? i called the # to complain to whomever answered, but hung up when I was put on hold [afraid of secret phone charges].

Got a text message from this number 75612 stating I won a $250 voucher. I did not call or reply to text. I forwarded that text to ATT:

I just got a text from 75612, and a couple calls from unknown numbers. Have not answered them!

I received the same text asking me to call 8775379266 regarding a free $250 walmart card/saling magizines.  Located in Lancaster/Ohio

Also received call from the 877-537-9266 number for a $250 Walmart voucher - don't fall for this scam!  Also received text from 855-265-5774 same thing "you've won!".

Second time in three months!  The text message is from 512-986-0189 to claim by prize by calling 877-537-9266.  I did not call.  Thanks for the website.

Thank you guys. I recieved a text to claim my $250 gift card at Walmart. I did call but they wanted me to pay for a subscription and then I hit click. Such a scam and right before xmas too.

Soooo glad I read these posts on this scam. I too, recently completed an online Walmart survey for a $1000 gift card. Then, I get the same text from (877)537-9266 claiming I won a $250 Walmart gift card. Did not call the # after I checked it out. Thanks to this great website!

Hell yeah scanners they sure make it seem so good and easy to easy .LOL don't fall for it big scam . Make u think ur getting a 250 voucher all u have to do is pay 17.00 for some magazines. They will call from many of area codes. And samanatha you scanners ur a joke what do you take us for.

THIS IS NOT A SCAM! I DID RECEIVE MY VOUCHER AND COULD USE IT OTHER PLACES AS WELL, LIKE BEST BUY, TARGET, RED LOBSTER, GAS AND MANY MANY OTHER PLACES. I DID SUBSCRIBE TO THE MAGAZINES BECAUSE I BUY THEM OUT OF THE GROCERY STORE ANYWAY SO IT WORKED FOR ME AND THE $250 CAME IN HANDY!!

I also received similar message from 7029277813 to call 877 537 9266. I am replying them STOP!

Thanks for the post I just received this same text, so I went to Google to see if this was a scam. Glad you posted your experience. My text indicates to call 1-877-251-0412. So if anyone see this number please note it is a scam as well.
