The same outfit and number called me and told me that my entry was "selected" at the Tunbridge Fair. We googled the number and found out it was a scam. I'll be reporting it to the Tundbridge Fair Directors

I called a man called Joe Grant at ext. 110. He really made me and my message machine think that I had already won something, we all need to be telling the chew chew fest that this is appaling that they had this group there. He was very nice, but I hope he stops working for them soon, because he is going to be hurting later in life for scamming so many people. I almost don't want to go the chew chew fest ever again.

diana you are a***ole in my humble opinion. You people are part of the scam of getting people to go these resorts and be pressured into buying a timeshare. Diana can please tell me where i can find the winners of  promotion you people run? I want to see who won the HOME DEPOT GIFT CARD  for 5000.00 the CARS you supposely give away. the WALMART gift card you give away. The BEST BUY GIFT CARDS.

also diana you are on every web page sayng the same thing about what your company does. What you dont tell these people is YOUR COMPANY is under investigation in all new england states for fraud. THAT IS THE TRUTH. people these are the facts call you Atty general office and find out the thruth about these scum bags

I recieved a call from 1-877-538-0569, and If your ever got a call from This company, Summit Vacations Read carefully....

They are not selling anything. They are simply responsible to set up appointments for garunteed gifts  that you were either drawn or selected to recieve in exchange for your time and willingness to hear about a local's resorts Amennites. Yes even though it is a timeshare tour you will be taking, you are under no obligations to every buy anything, and that is always mailed to you in writing before you go along with all of your gifts and map and drivnig directions.  They only thing this company does is mail this letter to you, and set up the date and time you wish to take the 90 minute tour of the resort, under no obligations.
The only reason they ask for 2 forms of Id is obviously for Id purposes. If they ask you to bring a Credit Card, that is also only to Id your Singnature and Never leaves your hands or sight. The sweet girl i spoke with told to me cover up my numbers with duct tape if i really wanted reassurance.

So for people that jump to conclusions and dont go pick up thier gifts are missing out on a wonderfull opportuinty to get some cash, food, and even a vacation possibly back at the resort. I know that The Ocean Club was a Fantastic resort, I toured it, got 25 bucks cash, lunch for 2 at this pizza place right next door, and also i get to go back there for 3 days and 2 nights on the house. I thought the place was nice, my tour guide was a sweet girl, who didnt pressure me at all. it was an overall pleasant expirence.

check it out, and get hooked up!

Did anyone ever go to any of these resort tours? I actually returned the call, got to speak to someone, came to the conclusion that the deal was worth trying and signed up to take the tour this coming Monday. Except they never sent me the confirmation letter with directions. So I don't know where to go.

Entered a raffle at the Stratham, NH fair last week...only to receive a call today from this same # saying we won air tickets.  Again, I googled and got this info so I knew it was a scam.  I would think that a town fair would be more careful with this stuff and not allow it....wish someone would stop these scams!

I also went to the RI Air Show and entered into a drawing for what I though was a Foxwoods Casino contest.  Two days in a row I got a call on my answering machine from Mary 1-877-538-0569 (ext. 135) saying I won a "vacation package"  and $1000 gift card, etc.  I tried returning the call twice today, but all I got was a busy signal... Thanks to everyone for posting their experiences, you saved me a lot of hassle.

I went to Air Show in RI and enter into drawing. Then I got phone call from 1-877-538-0569 and said I won something. They asked me to go to somewhere to watch something to get the prize. Glad I googled it and found it out this is scam.

Entered to win a couple of things at a sustainable living festival last weekend. My wife got a call yesterday from this number. The lady left a voicemail saying we had won. I'm cautious as it is but when she called it "the substantial living expo" I knew it was phony. It was a great festival with what seemed like great vendors, I think I know which one it was and next time I'm gonna make a scene. Good luck everyone!

Why would you ever post your home phone number on an internet board?  Now anyone can get all of your information from a reverse phone number search, name(which you already provided), address, etc.  You really need to protect yourself a bit more and not be so foolish.

Summit vacations - I won a vacation package plus free gas and free groceries. All I had to do was call Sandy back at 1-877-538-0569. She left the same message on my home number, cell number, and even at my work number. Sounds like a big scam to me.

If any of you had bothered to read the fine print on the entry forms you filled out, just by filling out the form and entering the contest, you essentially gave them permission to do anything they wanted with the information you filled out on the form.  I almost entered a contest, just like all of you, but I read the fine print.  After reading it, I did not enter, because it said right there in the fine print "by entering this contest, I hereby give xxxxxxx company the right to sell my information, and to allow contact by any party it is sold to".
Read the fine print people!

I attended the Ski Expo in Albany NY.  Received a phone message two days later from Joe Grant.  Thought maybe I had actually won.  But I googled the phone number and eventually found this website.  I never bothered to call back.  I wish the attorney general would do something to shut these places down.
