Got a text on my verizon phone about my card being deactivated and to call this number to reactivate it. When I called the Credit Union direct they told me this was a scam. Funny thing is that we dont use this account very often and my husband just happened to use his card on this particular account about an hour before we got this message. I have to wonder if these crooks are now able to follow your EVERY purchase with EVERY merchant!

I got a text from this number saying they were from Sunwest FCU and that my card has been deactivated and to call them to reactivate it. I don't have any cards or accounts with this particular credit union, so I think it is just a scam to get me to call. I tried to text them back and got a notification that this number has chosen not to receive messages.

Received a text saying my card was deactivated.  I have no account with this company.  A coworker received the same text the next day.  SCAM!!!

I received three text asking me to call 8775391547 to reactivate my card.  I do not have an account with Southwest Federal Credit Union

Credit Union West Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 877-539-1547 to REACTIVATE your CARD. I'm a verizon customer in central Arizona as well.

CB: 877-539-1547 Oct 5, 8:20 pm"  Husband got the same message an hour ago. We do not bank with Credit Union West. We are with Verizon however, and we are in Central Arizona. Some kind of scam obviously.

getting the same info about deactivation for a card from a bank i've never heard of. I am a sprint carrier.

I got this same text as did my mom.  Are we all verizon customers in Southern Arizona?  This is obviously a scam, but how did they get our numbers?  If we're all verizon customers we should probably get them to figure it out.

I just received 3 from them.
Sunwest FCU has a website but that number is not found on it.
