So apparently they have reached a NEW low. They send a letter from "United Rewards" telling me that I have qualified for 2 roundtrip airline tickets.

This number 1-877-1461 has always called to my home for days and months. I didn't know why that person has called to my home. It is big crazy things why he did those stupid things for days and months. It is possible this number 1-877-1461 is belong to mafia who likes to collect information of people to sale for money. Please don't answer and give any information the that caller.

I keep getting calls also but the call isn't even for anyone living in my household! Then "Lisa"wants me to call them & tell them where this person lives & their number....dah! Not today boys, not my debt (if there even IS an actual debt), not my concern. Scam!

Got a call from this number and they only spoke Spanish, so I have no idea who it was or what they were calling about! Seems that there has been an increase of phoney collections/messages coming in, lately. Unless I receive something in writing from them, I'll ignore them and delete the message!

I keep getting toll free calls for a Jeffery Willis.  I've never heard of such a person, and I told the caller this.  She said she would take care of it, but she didn't.  How do I get rid of these people

This number keeps calling. There is no reason for them to be calling me. I am also on the Do Not Call List.

I am old and grouchy and I am tired of getting damn phone calls from people that have no reason to call me,and that I do not want calling me. Remove my number from your damn list.

I would like to know how they skirt the Federal DO NOT CALL list?
One:They are rude.
Two: They are obviously dishonest,as I was attempting to collect information from them concerning their call on my private number , since I may have had an erroneous  medical debt which may be outstanding.
Three: Any reputable organization who is attempting to collect a debt will answer any and all questions, not hang up on you when you call them on their threats and numerous calls,,, out as it is a federal offence to harass someone. You cannot make an unsolicited phone call when you have repeatedly tried to explain you may not be the intended person, nor owe this debt.
Personally, I am going to file with a complaint with the Federal DO NOT CALL authorities and allow them to handle this harassment. I will also file a federal complaint for unlawful collection practices.
I am not playing your games to pay for your false representation, you may get away with this with less educated people and maybe that is  why you chose to hang up on me every time I called back to stop this harassment.

Brachfeld Law Group is a debt collection unit and has been known to settle then still file against u and also known for unauthorized removal of funds from accounts you can read about them by their name

The caller ID shows "toll free call", the same for several other scammers that call several times every day. The one time that I answered I spoke to a man who claimed that I owed several thousand dollars, which I didn't. I checked my credit reports to see if something might have been put on my reports by mistake, but my reports still show to be clean. The caller is a crook plain and simple.

I have notified any creditors I have not to call me and work and this # did.    It is my understanding in NC that you have this right.   I immediately told them I was not to be called at work and he started arguing with me.

Well just as I finished my post the phone rang again, and it was from the same number. That didnt take long.... I answered this time and a a recording came on stating they were a debt resolution company, that I needed to enter the phone number they just called and then enter some reference number they rattled off. I hung up in the middle of the reference number as I do not owe anyone any monies nor do I need debt resolution assistance.

I recvd a call from this number today, but have learned to google any number I dont recognize and landed here. These people didn't leave a voicemail, but they have called in the past I think. One thing that concerns me from reading the posts, is I just saw a show the other day where parents of minors are receiving calls from creditors for outsanding debts. They became concerned at the number of calls and did their due diligence and ran a credit check on their child only to find someone had somehow gotten their childs SS# and DOB etc and opened accounts all over the place. One family has a 4 year old who owes over $35,000 in outstanding debts because of fraudulent activity and identity theft. To add insult to injury, they are unable to rectify the situation because of privacy laws that are in effect. For example the legit creditor will not speak with the parents because the debt is not in their name...etc etc. Viscious circle. If you are receiving calls that your minor child owes a creditior, best check into it and try to do something. This will hamper any efforts to obtain student loans, etc when they become of age. Call your Congressman if you have to, people really do steal children identity and run amok with it because they are least likely to be detected before its too late. Thanks and kudos to the collector with info on what these debt collectors can and cannot do.

caller has heavey accent, from India or Nigeria (red flag) asked for my name and ssn, (big red flag), told him if your trying to collect a debt and your a law office then you would already know these things.  He said he couldn't look up my records without the ssn.  Told him that at this point then your out of luck.  so don't call again.

I keep getting an automated call asking for someone I never heard of.  Cant get them to stop.

This moronic company calls and leaves a message for someone else and states " this messgae is for so & so if you are not so & so then please hang up if you continue to listen to this message then you are acknowledging that you are so & so " well what kind  of a friggin moron is this b****ead? if you leave a message on an answering machine how do you expect with any assurance that you are reaching the correct party, well, they don't  So now these morons think this person is at this phone numberand my guess is they'll keep calling no matter what By the way the company is The Brachfeld law group based in Texas  They don't have a license to practice in my state either Also it's a computer generated voice calling NOT A PERSON and don't give them any information not even the time of day if your smart.  On the other hand if you want to be stupid tell the w3hat ever your heart desires

idiots seriously i called and waited long time an finally someone answered so i asked what kind of a law firm this was and i asked some smart questions and she said wait i will transfer you to the "right" department..as usually after i was transferred a voice-mail answered.

these people called and left a message with a sitter i called back , they said i owed a dr. money in Louisiana for an er visit, with a name i used 13 years ago  Never been to louisiana, i'm disabled on medicare and have kaiser ,not the insurance they said . They couldn't give me any infpo on the visit but said they knew my credit score AND IT AS GOOD. That I should go ahead and pay them even if it's not my bill because I wouldn't want this on my credit report BS I hung up these are scammers probably buy accounts due google the name and call all leads to get some idiot to pay, GOOD LUCK!! not me I know what I owe and where i've been and it hasn't been Louisiana!EVER

This appears to be a company named Brachfeld Law Firm, a.k.a. Brachfeld and Associates and appears to use deceptive trade practice to collect on old non-enforceable debts (debts that have expired), debts that do not exist and similar name debts. Their calls are persistent and in have been reported in many cases to be abusive. When you call and your case has an attorney (as in bankruptcy) they will no longer take your calls (they hang up immediately ? call screen) or say you?re not in their system and hang up on you.  In addition it now appears they intentionally slur their name to prevent your searching on the web for the company name.

The following are what appears to be their other numbers (877-545-1461, 866-837-4408, 866-836-8907) and for you to find links for more information.  If you have an old debt DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS as it will reactivate your debt and now make it enforceable! This number keeps calling for my 6 year old son.  I have NO idea who these people are.  When I answer the phone, say hello it is nothing but a recorded message.  Let this be known that If you would like to talk to me about my 6 year old have a real person call from this number, not a recorded message.  I don't have time for games.

I also recieved calls from this dirt bag establishment . I must say , they are cowards and refuse to meet with me on a personal basis! I believe in face to face not hiding behind a telephone. So Brockfield bring it. Come to the table for disscusion! You are the reason why the United States is in a shamble. You are the reason why things are outt of control and you need to punished for your dirty deeds and hiding behind the law and a phone! So, Bring it!

Yeah...same as you all...it's fraud..I thought it was odd. It actually scared me at first. I'm glad I googled the number. She was demanding personal information. I'm glad I wasn't dumb enough to give it out. FYI; always as their address, law firm name, type of law they practice and then only give your mailing address MAYBE and have them mail you their request or issue if they indeed have one...should an actual "lawyer" call you out of the blue. NEVER give out information over the phone; it's bogus 9 times out of 10, as in this case. If they don't know your name or case number...lmao...who are they kidding?!
