I got a call from them 5 mins after talking to someone there, and asking to be taken off the call list.  This really sucks!!! I had just called the number back that had been calling me, and talked with a person who sounded phillipino or chinese something of that origin and explained to take me off the call list, I'm not working. It wasn't 5 mins later, I got another call, I asked it this was Heide, cuz she sounded like the lady I had just spoke to, she said no! I told her I just got off the phone with one of your Reps and asked to be taken off the list.  (what the &%$*#) don't they get it???

Thanks to the person in Chicago from the lady in Wheeling.  I called the number back and spoke with a lady at Acai Berry and explained I'm not working right now and would appreciate being taken off the call list, she seemed very nice and said she would. We shall see. I'm curious if anyone has actually tried it. I really can't afford to get anything right now, but if it really does work for weight loss, when I get some extra cash, I would definitely try it!

Thank you for helping me figure out who was calling.  I called that number back and the lady was very nice about putting me on the do not call list until I am ready to try the product, which I told her, when I start working again, I will call you back, please stop calling.  We will see if it works!!!!

One more thing I forgot to add in my last posting was that you can buy Acia berry pills at GNC or at your local grocery store may have them for a lot less than their fees. I found them at my Pick&Save 1200mg. pills for just over $10.00 a bottle of 60 caps.

Called back # and spoke with a real person who went into his selling speach, he said I was selected for a free 30 day trial so I told him fine to send it to me...of course he wanted a credit card # at which time I reminded him that I was selected for a FREE trial. Well of course we all know that statement to be a crock of sh-t. He also said he would remove my # from their robo call list....now I will find out if he was a LIAR about that also. If I do not recieve any more calls from that # for the next week I will take back the fact that they are also LIARS..........keeping my fingers crossed..lol

If you have AT&T you have to add Smart Limits to your phone for $4.95 a month in order to block this number. You get up to 30 numbers. It got insane today so I'm splurging the five bucks to keep myself from going insane.  I'm so reporting them though.

HOLY CRAP.  The robo calling system is going nutts now.  They are calling so much it is getting through the comcast call blocking service.  It is crazy.  My phone has rung  3 times today with this number.  I checked out why isn't the service working now.  Only to see that it is working.  It blocked 11 calls in a row under a minute, but one got through.  They found a loop hole in the call blocking system.  They just slam the number until they get through.  I picked up once and they hung up.  I didn't get to tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.  WHAT A JOKE!  I am moving in 2 days, so it will soon stop.  I am getting a new phone number.  GOOD BYE harassment calls.  At least for a few years.  I'm now giving my Google number as my primary number.  They have awesome call blocking capabilities.  Once blocked they NEVER get through.  Frak all you telemarketers and scam artist.  GOOD BYE!

WOW.  This number called 15 times in a row according to comcast call blocking service.  One time it actually got through the screening service.  It is definitely a robo calling system.  From 6:48PM - 6:50PM, they called 15 times.  THIS IS RIDICULOUS.  GIVE UP ALREADY.  I am not buying this crap.

I received 7 calls from this number in the last week and a half. No messages were left, and sometimes my phone only rang about 3 times. I haven't tried answering yet, but looks like others have tried without success. Very frustrating!!

Now I know how they got my number.  I was reading an article online about acai berry pills with endorsements from CNN, FOX NEWS, MSNBC, etc.  It uses all natural pills to help lose weight, prevent colon cancer, etc.  The article say's try a 60 day trial for free.  So I begin to do the application and at some point it asks for a credit card and that was my cue to stop.  I read the fine print and it say the card will be charged monthly for a subscription.  Good luck trying to cancel that once it starts. The site didn't ask for a credit card until I furnished all the address and phone information.  That was 6 months ago.  I guess the company is desperate for business or people aren't renewing so they are calling anyone that showed interest.  I love and hate the internet.  In any case, that is why they are calling; to sell acai berry pills.  They call up to 10 times a day everyday.  ROBO CALLING!  That is why sometimes when you pick  no one answers, it is searching for some hillbilly working at home to give you a sales speech.  Welcome to the new economy which we created.  Instead of door to door salesmen, now we get telephone to telephone harassment.

This is taken from the terms and conditions from the extreme acai berry website.  I was wrong about the price.  This is CRAZY: CAREFULLY READ AND AGREE TO PURCHASE TERMS BELOW BEFORE ORDERING:

I understand that by ordering Extreme Acaiberry, I am agreeing to receive Extreme Acaiberry for a free 14-day trial period (days of availability for actual usage could be less depending on shipping time) beginning on date of order. $3.95 (non-refundable) for S&P. I understand that unless I cancel by calling 1-877-350-8480 within this 14-day period, beginning on the 14th day my credit card will automatically be charged $89.31 (Free Shipping) for a 31 day supply of Extreme Acaiberry to be shipped at that time to my door.

Thereafter, until and unless I cancel, my credit card will automatically be charged an additional $89.31 every 31 days for a new supply of Extreme Acaiberry. I understand that I may cancel any future shipments Monday through Friday by calling 1-877-350-8480. Our hours of operation are from 8am to 5pm MST. We do not accept returns on any products that have been shipped. Extreme Acaiberry

The do not call list doesn't really work.  Too many loopholes.  If you ever fill out a sweepstakes, use a credit card, buy a plane ticket, stay at a hotel, you basically created a business relationship.  Yes, you can opt out, but once you do any of the things above, your back on the list and must start over.  It is crazy.  Reputable companies are so desperate, they are finding the loopholes.  They all have up to 30 days to get you off the phone list, but that is 30 days of trying to convince you to buy.  The old business attitude of get at least 10 no's before you give up is BACK and with a vengeance.  With desperate people looking for jobs, this business is growing.  Now you can work at home and get your phone paid and never leave your home.  We are so lazy now, we don't even go door to door.  Why, everyone has a phone.  Now they are going to target cell phones, which is supposedly against the law.  GOOD luck trying to sue or collect.  They budget fines and legal expenses into their price.  Life is too short for this crap.  Maybe it is time to go off the grid.

Now up to 10 calls a day.  I reported them to the do not call list complaints.  Now they did it.  DO the same.  It is the only way it is going to stop.

https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

It has worked to get some companies to stop calling.  They get a letter warning them about your number and a complaint has been filed.  You may get money if they don't stop.

THEY CONTINUE TO CALL.  It is a robo caller system or auto-dialer for sure.  I blocked the number to show my number as disconnected.  I just looked up my bill with Comcast, I can block up to 12 numbers, and this number shows up trying to call me 2 times a day for over 2 weeks.  WHAT A JOKE.  I don't get the calls, but it is for sure a a robo calling system which is against the FTC do not call list.  I will file a complaint.  If I didn't have call blocking this would be harassment for sure.  This is what a bad economy does to our country.  Someone trying to scam a someone naive.  When will our phones be treated with respect and this practice outlawed.  We need a real do not call list that works.  Not one with so many loopholes that it can't be enforced.  That goes for scum sucking bill collectors too.  Take the person to court or don't give them credit next time.  But once the SOL has expired, IT'S OVER!  MOVE on and get over it.  You had plenty of time to seek restitution.  The day will come when this will be law.  THE DAY WILL COME!

I have NO CLUE on how they got my number but they have been calling me 4-5 times a day for the last 2-weeks. I answered once thinking that it was about my credit card and I had meant to call them to let them know I had mailed the payment but instead, it was someone who was talking about something that I wasn't paying attention to and just hung up. I am reading all of these posts and am appalled! How do we get them to STOP CALLING?!

They called, I only answered because it's an 877 number and I thought it was about my credit card or insurance.  On purpose, I answered in Spanish "Bueno?" No answer, just noise in the background as of several persons.. I repeated "Bueno!", since they did not answer immediately I hung up.  And then I searched for the number just to be sure it was nothing important, because sometimes they won't leave a message even when it's something one really should know about. I added it to my rejected numbers. Of course, the best thing to do is: Do Not Answer. Thank you all for posting your comments.
