These people have been calling me for a week, saying they are coming over today and they've tried to come by before. I'm here all day. They even called my ex-husband and told him they needed to serve me a summons. I don't think that the court system allows giving out that information to anyone other than the party it is intended for.

I to got a call today they clearly said it was in regards to a bad check my husband wrote however we have no bank for over 3 years now and i think its a scam its the same guy on the ssa groups voice mail as the man who left message when he called my house.

Same thing happened to me today he said his name was john Hops and he was coming to serve me a summons at my place of work or my home. He suggested that I contact 877-4180-0349 and ref to case A####. I immediately contacted my lawyer and she said he can't serve me unless he is a sheriff or a constable that this was a scare tactic.. But the last laugh is on them I forwarded the voice mail over to my lawyer... Not sure what type of game this is but it will stop. And if you are reading this message my john hops or whatever your name is... Remember be carful what type of messages you leave on voice mails and be sure to contact my lawyer I called your firm and told them to do the same thing.

I received the very same call today, stating that I am being served a summons for check fraud. Found out this company is a complete fraud. Said that I would be served at my place of employment or i could meet her somewhere or pick it up myself. Idiots!!!! She said her name was Sarah Thomas.

Same thing just happened to me today! Luckily, I know better about the legal process. What an idiot. It was a Mr. Fischer for me. He said he was coming to my work, the place he mentioned, I haven't worked for in years. I also looked on my states circuit court access making sure there wasn't a summons out there. He said mine was for check fraud. Nice try, buddy! I have filed complaints with the DFI, FTC and Attorney General's office.

I have been receiving the same phone calls from SSA group. The guys name was Derrick Fisher, and he called the directors office at my job and told them that i needed to contact him immediatley.  About 3months ago I received a phone call from the same people and they were saying that they would serve me on my job and i told him to come on, but i never received any summons. The number that they have been calling me from is 877-418-0347.

We've had the same experience that you've had. About 6 months ago they called claiming to be a legal office. Today they decided to call our grandparents & tell them to give our ph#'s to them because they were on their way to serve us a summons & wanted to discuss it before they got here. My grandmother hung up on them & the jerk called her right back!!!! This is getting to be ridiculous! I checked out the www.ftc.gov page & will be contacting them in reguards to SSA group. The number they contacted me from was 877-415-0345. I didn't notice that # on anyone else's comments but it's the same place pulling the same BS!

Hi my sister is recieving a call from 877-312-0119 and they are from this same company... SSA Group... for a minute there it scared the hell out of me saying i was going to be summons... but after reading all these comments it seems really fishy and like this company is up to no good... i will be calling my city court house first thing Monday morning to find out what this is all about and what i can do to stop these people... I have worked as a debt collector and never seen it go this far with saying they are handing out summons... I will be reporting this company!!!

i just received a voicemail from a patrick sullivan saying i was a person of interest in an ongoing investigation on a person named detrick aptism or something like that.  told me to call the "plaintiff's office" in regards to a case number.  first off, since when do plaintiffs get an office?  there was no caller id, but the call back number he asked me to call was 1-877-286-0394.  definitely something fishy.  i called and a recording answered saying ssa group. got someone on phone they said they had me tied into an address that this person had used or they had my phone number previously.  i have had my number for 10 yrs.  something not right, would be nice if they got what was coming to them.

I am reporting this company for posing as a Law Office.

Mr. Payton called to find out a location to deliver the Summons. When I asked him for the company information it was in reference to, his reply was " I'm not suppose to give this out, but here it is " I then ask for his number to reach him back, and was told he did not provide his phone number. I then ask what company he worked for and was told he was a Independent Contractor ( you could hear the call center in the background ) He told me to call them, and he would return the call in a few hours if he did not hear back from the primary company, so he could meet me somewhere to deliver the summons.

I then call the number and get SS Group ( They left off the A ) I then speak with James Eubank who then tells me they will be handing out a Summons for Check Fraud.. At this time i'm shocked.. I then call my brother who is a Sheriff Deputy in my county to find out more info.. he said they are feeding me BS and trying to scare me.

I faxed them information regarding Consumer Rights and a written statement not to contact me at my place of employment again.

I then called to confirm receipt of the document when I spoke to a woman who i pounded for answers..

I then ask for a physical address and was denied this information.

At first she would not even answer any questions, she put me on hold to find someone else to assist me with my questions, she then came back on the line to answer questions and explain that she was new with the company and did not have all that information..then wanted another phone number to contact me back to answer my questions.

She went from it being a Litigation Office to an Arbitration Firm.

I searched them and found out they are just a normal Collection Agency. LOAD OF CRAP!!!

They are claiming to be legal offices, this should be against the law!

Every person who has been called and told you have a summons from these idiots call your county/city court and verify that you have or dont have a summons I just called the courts here in our county and there is NO Summons against my husband I'm gonna do my best to set these people up we are friends kinda with chief of police here and I think he would set up to watch my house and have come with us to meet these people.  I 'm afraid someone wants to get in our house what a better way to get you out of the house meet you some where to serve you and your house is robbed while your out.  

Just call your county/city courts! for us its county we are in country so only court is our county court but in bigger cities you may need to contact your city court i called circuit court

keep getting calls from this lady stating that her name is Abby Nash and that I need to contact her about a court summons. That someone has been to my home but unable to get me to serve this summons also that it looked as though they were going to serve me at work, and I would be served before the end of the year. She stated that she wanted me to contact her first before i was served because they were minor charges and she really would hate for me to have to go through all that trouble over such minor charges. Far as I know I have no charges on me. she also left another # 877-286-0394

This guy has called me but referred to his self as Mr Peterson hes calling in regards to an order for a bad check he received this morning in attempt to defraud a financial institution well firstly lol we have no bank! what an a** this has to be BS there website is all private as far as ownership and if it were a real biz it wouldn't be private! ssa group called. His name was Sean OBrian. he claims someone we have never heard of, Rosa Burk, left us as a contact person. Asked us to call back and that this was an official notice for Rosa Burk.

I have received 2 calls, one they left for me on my voice mail, then left me a msg with my parents. 2 different complaints. Not sure what they want didn't call back.

Yes, same jerk  James Grier or something like that,, says he has a court summons to serve,, he is coming to my home to serve it,, I just hung up on him,, he left a voice msg,, some woman called a couple wks ago with the same dumb story..

Mr. Rynheart left msg. & called husband's place of employment seeking to serve him.  Said this is an official notice.  Said he would meet him @ a restaurant @ noon.  Had my best friend's name.  wth?  Left plaintiff's # as 877-547-0343.  Calling my lawyer now.

We got a call tonight from a Mr. Reinhold saying my husband was a person of interest in an investigation he was conducting on a Craig Williams.  
My husband is in the criminal justice field but we wouldn't get calls like that at home.  Will be pursuing this through the appropriate channels.
