Did they come by with the papers?  Just got the same threatening call!

I received a call from"unavailable" when I answered I was told to call this phone number to find out what the papers being served were about.  I called and was told I was being sued.  i told them after canceling a payment arrangement that I would be receiving papers again and there was nothing they could do to help me any further.  The courier then called last Wednesday and asked what time I would be home when I gave her a time she stuttered and said that would work.  Low and behold one week later she has not shown up or called again.  i say SCAM!  She also called from a local number so i googled it and it cam up a dr office fax number at the college.

No, and in fact, if you were going to be served, the court process server would just show up.  Process servers do NOT call you ahead of time to find a "convenient" time.  You also don't need to have ID.

has this person every come out to anybodys house or place of employment?  it doesnt appear so

I recieved the same exact call at my employement as well. The first person who called said they were calling to serve me and that I needed to call the 877-549-8302 number to stop them from serving and to find out what they were serving me on. I called the number, they asked my last 4 of my social, like an idiot, I gave it to her. She said it didn't match their records and wouldn't give me any other information. I am lost as to what this is for.

I just got the same call now at my place of employment. Someone by the name of Matthew Bryant left a message stating that since he did not receive a "stop order", he would be stopping my place of employment today and advised me to have my photo id available. He did not state why he was stopping by, who he worked for, etc. he did say that if I didn't want him coming to my job, to call 877-549-8302 and see what they could do. Otherwise he was coming for me. However, this is not the fist time I have received threatening calls like this by this same person claiming that if I did not call him back, he would be coming to my work to get me. Really??? I work at the courthouse in my county. Would love to see this person come to my job.

Got this call and have no idea what its about. He would not give me any information about who this is and that he did not know. I find that hard to believe since he supposedly doing business with them. I feel that this is just a scam. And its not funny either.

I had the same exact call and they also called my mom's cell phone and left her the same message for me.  Cell phones are unlisted so I have no idea how they got it.  Scared my mom half to death!  I know it's a scam.  If they were going to serve us with papers, they don't call and warn you and verify your address.  It's a scare tactic for you to call the number they provided.  This William Jacobson with Private Careers called from an unaivable number.  Please do not let them manipulate you all into anything.  If someone were to serve me papers, it would be from my counties sherrif's departmet.  

William Jacobson....you are a scammer/theif/lowlife, if that's even your real name.  I hope your read these messages because everyone is on to you and your scamming ways.  You should be ashamed of yourself.  Get a real job and quit stealing people's money!

Received a call from this number yesterday saying they have legal documents to serve me and I needed to return their call right away. Then received another call from the same people today and from a different number 740-555-1212 which when I return the call it is Time Warner Directory assistance so I spoke with a lady there and she said it is a SCAM . the guy that called yesterday wasn't even sure what his name was he stalled for a second after he said this is____________________________ William Jacobson with Private Careers but when you call the 877 number it says the company is T.A.G. so I am not sure they even know who they are when I looked up the 877-549-8302 it tells me it is listed as a suspicious number HUH WONDER WHY CAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE. I HAVE NOTIFIED MY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT TO FILE CHARGES SO I WANT THEM TO SHOW UP AT MY HOUSE/PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT BECAUSE THEY WILL BE THE ONES ARRESTED NOT ME. I WISH SOME PEOPLE WOULD GET A REAL JOB AND QUIT TRYING TO SCAM EVERYONE THAT WORKS LEGALLY FOR THEIR MONEY.

Just  got a call saying if i didn't call this number back and stop some kind of order they would stop by my residence or buisness and i have served. Really? for what? who is this, and i hope they do come to my house. Get em Dixie. she bites hard too.
