did anyone ever hear if this company is even a legal company?

I received a phone call saying that I was being served a summon from this server at that time he said to contact this Mike in legal, I ask him the nature of the call he said he didnt have a file in front of him then he put me on hold. Then when I ask him what company that hes contracted with and then again the reason for the call he hung up the phone. I called him back and said dont you think thats very unprofessional you being  in the legal dept, he stated that he no longer wanted to talk to me. So at that time I told him that my attorney will contact him he said whats his number when I told him he will contact him. He called me back and said you dont have one do you. At this time I knew this people are a bunch of (Jack***es).

This company called a friend that i have not seem in YEARS.....and I dont even have her number.....

This number called and left a message on my sister phone that has never and will never be listed as a reference on anything. I havent talked to her in months. I am being threatened with legal action on something that no information can be provided to me and that I have never applied for or have any knowledge of.
This has got to stop and if this is a scam, I feel really bad for the people that fall for this and give the company money that is not owed to them.

I got a call from a Restricted Number today, telling me he was a process server and he was attempting to serve me with papers. He recommended I call 877-340-0410 and give them a case number.

I called this number, and spoke with someone named Mike in Legal. Mike couldn't provide me with any information on where this so-called court case was filed (what court and/or county), nor the case number.

He claims that they attempted to serve me at an address that I haven't lived at for who knows how long. I asked for the court name/county again, and he said he didn't have it.

After pushing a bit, I was transferred over to Jeremy, who was supposedly a legal assistant, who may have the information. Jeremy said they didn't have it, even though it was their company that filed the law suit (or so they say). When I asked who else I could speak with, he said no one. I asked for his manager, who (to no surprise) was not available. He then put me on hold, until it rang back to Steve, the receptionist ... who sounded oddly different than I had remembered when I spoke with him just a few minutes before.

He transferred me back to Jeremy, and I got a generic voicemail greeting.

I called back, and Steve's voice changed yet again ... surprise, surprise.

Send them a letter requesting validation of the debt (see sample below), and write them off. If someone really wanted to serve you with papers, they'd do it. It's not hard to find someone's address through the DMV/MVD, the county, or the State.

I received a call asking for my father, they wanted to serve him summons papers. He told me he was working for a friend that works with the BA Group. I then told him to call me back with information I can pass on. so 5 min later he called back and left me a voicemail. leaving me this number and a case# After reviewing the states public records I found nothing on there agenst my father. so my we googled this number.

My name is John Miller and I have a case against all of you and you all need to contact me at 877-210-9440 with your case number I left on your voice mail.......HAHAHAHAHA.

I got the same call.  The guy leaving a voice message was so nervous with his talking and it seemed as though it was all the could do to keep from laughing.  I though it was a crank call at first because the guy was talking ghetto and was not professional.

This dumbass Patrick Martin keeps calling and leaving messages on my cell, with family members and with people where I work, threatening me and anyone who will listen that he has a summons to serve me (negative - it's easily verified false on this thing called the INTERNET).  I'm on something like my 7th or 8th LAST AND FINAL chance in the last 5 weeks or so to resolve this issue before he's going to serve me at home or work.  Supposed to call 877-210-9440.  The threats are almost comical.  He's told several people that he needs me to verify my home address, which hasn't changed in 7 years, but is able to call me at my job that I've been at for about 4?  It's especially more intimidating when I get the same message for the 9th time, but two minutes later he calls back and says that "You REALLY need to contact the plantiff immediately".  Oh, ok... let me get right on that.

Let him serve me if that's the road he wants to go down, he's violated the FDPCA so many times, that if he wants to go to court, we can definitely play that game.

I called the number back and spoke to Steven - he says they are not a law firm nor ar they a collection firm, they are an arbitration firm.  The man that called my parents and my sister (who were NOT references at all) is Patrick Martin, he identified himself as an attorney and left a message stating a complaint for summons (this is not even a legal term) would be issued against me if I did not return the call.  Per Steven, they don't use attorneys - he wanted me to replay the message.  I told him to cease calling my family because they had no part in the matter and it was harassment under Texas law.  He said "good luck" and hung up on me.

These ppl are using locator services to contact previous jobs and they claim references. They are calling ppl that i have never even used as references who just happen to relatives i haven't spoken to in months. They are ridiculous. They are irritating I have filed several complaints against them. They contacted me stating it was in regards to an offense from 2009. The account they were referring to was closed by my bank the company they claim to represent received payment already. Freaking Scam!!!! I want to get them to leave me alone how do i do it?

Has anyone actually been SERVED from this company? They have threatened to serve me at my work 3 times now, and yet... when I offer to make a payment on MY terms, it is not enough. Just wondering what exactly their game is... ???

This company called my father first because they did not have a current number of me.  Mind you, I have had my phone number for over 4 years!!  They are an arbitration firm/company located in Oregon.  When I called back they said they don't make outgoing calls form thier business.  I talked to a gentleman named Allan Balcum who said that they bought out several online cash today servies and now hold  the title of any bad checks, missed payments, or unresolves accounts.  When I told the gentleman that I was not willing to resolve a matter in which they could not give me any information on, he said I would be served a summons at my work.  I told him that I no longer am employed at the company and he said I could say I no longer worked there, but they would serve me the summons there anyway!!  He said that in accordance with the bad check laws that he was prosecuting me for a check I stopped payment on because the company had gone out of business??  He wanted me to resolve the matter over the phone and when I would not, he then proceeded to tell me I needed good luck and hung up.

Anybody know the address of the BA Group?

My husban and I both received calles for other poeple saying a claim is filed agaist them. They then give a case number and tell us to call this number. We call tell them noone with these names lives in the home and they say they are removing our number, but it keeps happening. IS this a scam?????

These fools need to stop calling getting tried of them calling late.  If these people think they are going to get money from me they have another guess coming when I don't no who they are and saying I owe when I owe nothing.  So stop calling and get a LIFE.
