because i have caller ID, i did not answer the call the first time i saw it, figuring it was someone trying to sell something to our company.  i let it go to voicemail, but no one ever leaves a message.  i have to say, these people are RELENTLESS (just like another number who has been constantly calling us).  they call every morning, every day, for months.  i almost wonder if there is a connection to the other number that has been calling us with the same pattern (posted about it in214-382-0785).  it is completely annoying.  i'm waiting to see how long it will be before they finally stop calling.  although, after i read all the posts on this forum, i may start answering and just hanging up on them right away.  see if that gets them to stop.

i hope everyone who was scammed by whoever this is, gets their money back and is able to put a stop to such practices!

Called this # 877-551-3463, they have called my cell number 5 x's in the last 2 days w/ no VM message left.


MY NUMBER is a business and personal cell number as I'm an on- call Minister from Ohio. There is now a recording saying they are a company called Social advertising INC. When I called the number back, I got the company name above stated and that they are a Internet Marketing Solutions Company, the recording did offer me an option to remove my number from their call list, let's see if it sticks.

Meanwhile my number is registered on donotcall.gov to prevent telemarketing calls, so I plan to file a complaint for the 5 previous calls in which they have woken me up!

Find Locally is a scam and they called tried to say the represent Century Link Long Distance, I told them its already in our package and then said they will have to check with their supervisor the more I questioned who they were and they never called back.  But on the Century Link bill it says right to dispute bill. Mother f...ers....

We had the same issue that you all have explained in this thread. i called payment one and explained my position as well as recorded the call so that they knew i meant business. I was told they would refund all 5 months of these charges and apply them as credit to our AT&T bill. I will let you know if it all goes down as stated and wish luck to those of you that find yourself in this same position.

This is an update.  This is my 5th time calling this "company".  After being on the phone for 29.32 minutes, I finally got them to give me a refund.  It wasn't easy...I got mad and nasty...really nasty, but I got the refund.  Well, I'm not sure that I "got" it, but they gave me a confirmation number and said it takes 3 days to process, and 1-2 billing cycles to post to my account.  I called Verizon and gave them the confirmation number and explained to them the "companies" process on refunds.  In return, Verizon gave me a credit on my account for the full amount $199.80 and will hold that credit for 90 days (giving the "company" time to give me my refund).

Keep in mind that this company told me more than 50 times that they don?t issue refunds.  The only way I got my money was by repeating myself over, and over, and over, and over again...they did the same thing.  Persistency paid.  They DO give refunds.  Don?t worry about manners when speaking to these thief?s!

I will continue to work on this, and update this post with any new info.  The best suggestion I can offer is calling all of your phone providers and requesting a "billing block".  Post it on Facebook/myspace/twitter..tell your friends, etc.  Get this out so we can get these spammers out of business.  The more people that know about this, the better!!!  Below is my experience:

I recently paid $115.34 on one bill (thinking it was a starters fee), and when it showed up this month, I got a little concerned.  I spoke with Verizon and they gave me the phone number for "Find Locally, LLC", which was a big charge on my phone bill.  When they answered the phone, they said, "customer service"...no business name.  When I asked for it, they said that they were E-Bridge.  I asked for their physical address: 16133 Ventura Blvd, Entino, CA 91436.  I spoke with Harry Gonzalez, ID #2660.  He asked me for my name, and I gave it to him (first only), he asked me for my company name...I wouldn't release that.  I did give him my phone number and the company name that he brought up was not ours.  I explained that there MUST be a mistake because SOMEHOW, his company was able to place a fee on our phone bill.  I thanked him for expediting the refund check for $115.34 to Verizon so I could get my refund from them shortly...

After he stumbled over his words, he tried to explain that we authorized a charge, and fees could not be refunded for services rendered.  I asked what services...he said "Internet Advertising".  I asked him to show me the services provided - he said to look up my phone number on the internet.  I asked who authorized this charge - he said "Patrick Love".  I asked him when - he said "January 3rd, 2011".  I explained to him in not so nice of manner that there was never a Mr. Patrick Love at our company, and even if there were, our company was not open in January.  He said that it was impossible for Mr. Patrick Love not to work for the company because he personally took that call.  I called him a liar.  I told him that he needed to transfer me to his supervisor to issue me a refund.  He said that he was the only supervisor that does it....he was the "Senior Account Manager".  I told him again to issue me the refund...he said he couldn't.  I called him an incompetent person for having such a large title.  He said that regardless of if he could or couldn't issue me a refund, he wont because he has verification that we authorized the charge.  

(Fortunately for me, I saw this thread before calling, so I had a heads up before I went on.)  I told him to produce this authorization.  He said that he couldn?t...it would take 24-48 hours to produce.  I told him that for a man of importance, and seemingly the only one that could help me, that wouldn't be good enough, and that I would hold while he walked over to get the tapes....I held for 3 minutes.

Mr. Harry Gonzales came back to the phone unable to produce the message...said that his voice recording security team has their protocols, and he can't break them.  I reassured him that if he was indeed a man of such importance to promote a title like "Senior Account Manager", then he would have no problem making his "Voice Recording Security Team" fork over the said "recording"...I held for 6 minutes.

We went round and round like this until he finally put me on hold again, and hung up after 2 minutes.  I called back just after I was hung up on and got someone else who answered the phones.  They had no idea who Mr. Harry Gonzales was (shocking!) and I told them, "Of course you do...he is your Senior Account Manager".  I was informed that there were several of those and I would be transferred.

Same scenario happened over and over again.  I finally gave it a rest (but not given up) and called Verizon back.  They were able to put a billing block on my account, but they couldn't refund me the money I already paid.  From what I understand, the process is that these "companies" get you to say your first and last name on the phone, and ask you a question that would prompt you to say, YES.  They have produces recordings in the past, from what Verizon tells me, but they sometimes they cant.  Verizon said that I would have to get the fraudsters to give them a refund and then they would issue me a refund.  I asked them why this service "billing block" was not already on my account, and they said that they are not allowed to recommend it unless a customer has an issue which would warrant such a block.

Like I said, I will continue to work on this, and update this post with any new info.  The best suggestion I can offer is calling all of your phone providers and requesting this "billing block".  Post it on Facebook/myspace/twitter..tell your friends, etc.  Get this out so we can get these spammers out of business.  The more people that know about this, the better!!!  Even if I/You get your money back...even if this one company goes out of business...all they have to do is start up another one (easy), and the process starts over.  The best solution is always prevention.

per month !! Also promised to send an info packet and contact 3 times in 1st mnth. Never did anything of the sort---received a charge on my phone bill for $99.95 + tax..

LYING SCAMMMERS !!

AT&T will work with you now, just let them know that it's fraud and they will remove it from your bill and send it back to the scum which, in-turn they will have to bill you directly, which at this point you can demand doucments proving you agreed to their services.

I just call AT&T and ask them to stop any charges on my bill from other companies, also I call 1.888.737.1000 and talk to Amber Davis, they cancel my "account" (we never hire this company) and I will sue them for the money they been stilling at US in our AT&T bill.
How can the F.C.C. do nothing about this kind of companies, they are ripping of our money !!!

The person who created my account was also a Gabriel.

He was conveniently on another call when I was trying to cancel the service/get a refund.

I did get a refund. I asked to talk to a member of the "team" who listens to the recordings, and to listen to my own recording.  She promptly offered a refund within three business days.

I just called Find Locally, LLC through Payment One at 888-934-7750 to find out why I was being charged $49.95 on our law firm's Frontier phone bill.

They said I spoke with someone and agreed to the 30 day free trial and that I agreed to pay $49.95/month after that.  Um. Nope.  I argued with the account manager for 18 minutes.

She kept saying they must have a recording of me agreeing to pay that amount or they wouldn't have created the account in the first place.  Over and over. I asked to speak to the person who she says I spoke to in the first place and he was of course on another call.  I asked to speak to someone who was superior to her, she said no. Then she said they have a team of people who listen to the recordings to make sure you've legally agreed. I asked to speak to one of them...and that I wanted to hear the recording of me agreeing to pay this amount.

She immediately told me I'd get a $49.95 refund on my telephone bill in three business days.

Please see my most recent submission. I found out that the company you've located is a different company than you located on line. I have added a contact listing for eBridge, Inc./Find Locally.  There are 345 complaints listed with the Better Business Bureau AND they were given an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau.  Let's all file complaints with the California Attorney General!

Just wanted to add an update:
    A previous blogger added information s/he had found on-line for a Nevada address.  This, unfortunately, is another company.  Below you will find 1) a review/complaint against the mother company, "Ebridge" from Better Business Bureau.  When I accessed BBB's page, I found no complaints against "Find Locally LLC"! I thought, "this cannot be!" Then my husband reminded me of the mother company's name, which appeared on the phone bill.  So, I searched again and found MANY complaints, all of which were of the same nature of those shared here.  I found this review and response from Ebridge EXTREMELY informative.
    I thought we could all use this information for filing additional complaints with the Attorney General of California, where Ebridge is located:

I just got off the phone from listening to my "12 minute" recorded phone conversation from 7 Jul 2011. Over and over again the operator states you are obligated to nothing, you will be charged nothing. Near the end of the phone call she says, in a voice barely above a whisper, if you don't want additional features you can contact us to cancel. Yet, I had no way to contact them! No address, no phone number! When I disputed this with the agent from "audio" he said, yes Ma'am, I clearly heard the operator give you that information." So I asked to have that section of the call repeated and he responded, "I don't have time to play back this recording over and over again for you. I'm sorry but I find no reason to reimburse you your charges."
    I told him I felt sorry for him that he would work for such an unethical organization and I'd be praying for his soul. He said thank you :)
   I asked for the name of the President of the company -- he said he wasn't at liberty to give that out. He gave me 1-800 # for customer service and physical address of "dispute department". I asked for name for contact/director of dispute department. Again, "I can't give you that information." I asked, "Are you telling me the name of your president is secret? The name of the supervisor of your dispute department is secret?" "That's exactly what I'm telling you," he said.
    How outrageous is that?
    I have filed complaints on line with better business bureau (who will respond in 30 days), and with the FCC, who are tracking companies that create 3rd party billing to phone bills--so I am hopeful that at some point the FCC will be able to do SOMETHING.  Both sites are easily found through bing/yahoo/google -- (fcc complaints; go to BBB page, it offers instructions on filing complaints).

Same thing happened to me! Definitely a scam! And now I'm stuck with $150 worth of extra phone billing!!!! Did you learn anything yet?  I am hoping to file with better business bureau as well and am trying to find someone who can help me get some satisfaction...try to shut these people down!

I received a phone call from this # listed as Find Locally.  I was foolish enough to believe when they said they would contact me three time in the first month, and, I would receive a letter in the mail, that they were true to their word. Now I have $150 OF EXTRA BILLS ON MY PHONE!!!! That I did NOT authorize!!!!! DO NOT ANSWER THESE PEOPLE!!!

These sales ripoff artists said the same as all have said, I agreed to boost for the free 30 day and told them that I did not have my website even up yet and that I am new to comp ads.
