Stop Calling Me!!!!!

Someone with a very thick Indian accent, could barely understand the caller. I asked him to repeat what he had said, he demanded my social security number and wouldn't answer my question nor tell me who he was.

I hung up and blocked the number.

When you get a call with just beeping that means it's someone trying to send you a fax (probably called a wrong number) and that's why when you call back it beeps because it's a fax #.

BS scam looking for your personal information. Frequent calls wasting my time.

Keep receiving calls from this number attempting to collect a debt from people that DO NOT LIVE HERE!  They don't care, they continue to call all the time.  I tried to call it back and "the number doesn't accept calls from a blocked number." my phone number is not blocked.  My phone company won't block the number unless I upgrade to unlimited long distance.  Really????   My phone company is Charter Communications.  Well they did give me the option to change my phone number for $20.00.  How do I get these people to stop calling?

I answered the phone but the caller did not say anything.

Just got a call, hung up on them without picking up (viva la android phone!), then googled the number. Found myself here after google autocompleted the number correctly in the search box, implying these b*****ds are on enough radars that Google's tracking them now too!

Commentary here suggests the number is a bunch of 455h0les trying to scam people out of money they really don't deserve. Ms. Pre-Law Student's comment is particularly troubling. That call is a textbook terroristic threat, which is a *felony!* Call the cops, your lawyers, and the Feds!

I got a call from 1-877-553-3114 today. I tried to call back (from my phone at work) and got a rapid busy signal. They did not leave a message so it must not be important......

Tried calling me, But I have an application on my phone that picks up and hangs up on them automatically so they can't even go to my voicemail. My phone was off today so the application didn't work and the message they left was terrifying, It sounded like a guy was reciting my address and then he started laughing and then it sounded like a scream and then he hung up. Being a college student and a girl who lives in an apartment by myself - I am stressing out right now and even though I know nothing is happening...I really don't need things like this... I really wish I could just see the guy who had the audacity just do something Like that to a female, Obviously he was from overseas because I could barely understand his accent but he should have some damn respect because I think scaring women is beyond what I am able to comprehend right now... I am so angry but - I'm sure Someone else is just as angry and I'll come face-to-face with these guys sooner or later And sue them or shut their company down or put them in jail where they belong. Jerks...

ITS SPANCO TELESYS.........some one has a bill paying issue so they call my number......use THE USPS SYSTEM a** holes

every morning at 8am and twice later in the day this number calls on an auto dialer. Never anyone there!  Comes up on caller id as "telemarketing"   We don't owe anyone any money and are on the "do not call list".  Getting realllllllly annoying.  Can't wait to actually speak to someone there!!!

You don't seem to understand.  I will try to use small words.  These people are harassing people (harassing is like being a bully who won't go away ;) )  It is NOT legal to call people in the middle of the night.  And they are NOT "rattling off the last 4 digits" they are DEMANDING the full number.

I am receiving call every day from  1 877 553 3114. When we pick up the phone, no one answer.

i got a call at 8 pm eastern time..it was a wpman with an indian accent..askimng for some one who i have never wvenn heard of..i have told them repeatedly to stop calling..im getting p!ssed this needs to stop

Every time I look up a number that has mistakenly called me, I am amazed at the stupidity of the other people who are being called. It's not a scam, it's a legitimate bill collector with wrong number possibly. They rattle off the last 4 digits of your Social Security number because they have to verify it, and no one will ever tell it to them. They don't identify themselves because by law they cannot - unless they identify their debtor first. If you want to legally prevent them from calling you, you have to put it in writing. There is no such thing as a Do Not Call list as it pertains to debt collectors. If you do now answer the phone, they will not know it's a wrong number. The one person who stated he would never do business with them again is the biggest idiot. It's the creditor who gets to choose the debt collector.

This number called again but I wasn't in and they left no message. 877-553-3114. I never answer strange numbers so wouldn't have picked it up if I had been home. The way I see it is that if this is a real person with real business with me then they can leave a message.

The caller ID listed 877-553-3114 and was labeled "TELEMARKETER" so, of course we didn't pick up.  I use the *60 selective caller block service my phone provider offers me so I just blocked it after the call stopped ringing.

Keep getting calls from this number. It is getting annoying.

This number just called and failed to leave message. Caller Id just says Toll Free Number. I never answer unknown number of if not at home I never return unknown calls. If they are honest and need assistance they can leave a message or show who they are at least.

I ran this number and several others, and they are all listed with the same complaints, locations, and company names (MRS or other debt collector). These are the numbers and locations that call me for the same thing:

And I have had two or three from Arizona as well. My best advice don't answer them.

Called twice today asking for my husband - the woman would not say where she was calling from, she was definitely foreign and she hung up on me. I tried calling back and I got a message saying "this is not a working number" - wtf?
