Got the same.  Automated message from 603-212-9955 (spoofed # likely), saying to call this 877 number.  Bottom feeders most likely....

look down the page ..they call on one number and the number you call back is the number on my letter 877-556-4388. it looks legal on google, but scrolling down this page it's not. i have a free account with credit karma, i closed out the account they say i owe $47 on, back in 2006 or earlier. i even lived in another house when i had that card, i didn't live at my present address and that was back in 2006. look things up on google and scroll down the page till you see the phone number that is listed and the one listed on any paper that you receive from not just this lawyer group but any lawyer group. never give out any of your information on the phone and never send anyone you don't know money.

just got a letter in the mail about an account that was closed years ago, saying that i still owed $47. i looked up on credit karma knowing that i had seen it before, this account with applied credit had been closed with me oweing nothing, at 0%. looking it up on google it looks real, till i came back into google and scrolled down the page to read that the phone is a bill collector , but not a credible one, just someone that checked out my credit report and decided to get money out of me. if they send out a letter to everyone, saying that they need to pay $47, that's going to add up to a heck of alot of money. just thought i would let ya'll know.

Just got a call. A Kevin Davis with "The Schreiber Law Firm. Referred to a "case number". For sure a debt recovery company. Ignored the call. Calling them back won't keep them from calling back.

Don't call. They're a debt recovery company. Unless you are in PA, they have no jurisdiction to pursue legal action against you, but they will intimidate and threaten you into paying the outstanding debt that they're trying to collect. They will continue to call until you answer, at which point you will be acknowledging the debt. If your debt is old, the moment they speak to you, you are in fact reactivating it, so if you are in PA, check with your County Clerk's office about how these things work in your state. If you're not in PA, just ignore the calls. They are too cheap to hire a lawyer in your state to sue you, so they'll probably sell your debt to some other company. Good luck!

3 calls this week, if you answer your talking to a flaky machine, I am not about to call them so they can ask the same stupid questions that 4 or 5 credit collections agencys have called for... Its not us............they need to do their own leg work to find th person they are looking for

These idiots just called me about 5 minutes ago from a 275 area code telling me to call this 877 556 4388. Don't believe them it's all BS. If you receive a call just don't acknowledge who you are and it will repeat for a while. But don't give any info about yourself and they'll leave you alone.

Just got a letter in the mail from Schreiber Law Firm 1-877-556-4388 its a payday loan thru spot loan took the loan for 500.00 made couple of pymts on it put couldnt affored anymore they said we owe 1600 the loan was for 500.00 made pymts on it. wanted me to pay 1100.00 on it i told him NO i do not have any money he wanted info from me i hung up on him after that. is there an attorney i can deal with to protect myself in case this is a real company?

Caller ID says 267-525-7083 or 267-525-7060 but the contact # is 877-556-4388.  It's a prerecorded message and they say they have an important business matter. Whatever.

I dont know who they are or what they want.  I did call back on to get a message machine.  No one has called me since  Cease and desisit!

Just got new landline service and keep receiving phone call from a previous owner of  my new number. Yes , previous phone #s  are being used.

Automated message from 267-525-7060 asking to be called back at 877-556-4388.  Claims to now be the Law Office of Schreiber.

Receivd a call from a gentleman stating his name was Rex Smith with Schreiber Law Firm.  Said I needed to speak to a litagator (Brian Earl) They say their address is Trevose Pa.  Not sure if I should call or not.

My husband received a call from this company asking to speak to me regarding my sister. Not sure how they even got his number and knew to ask for me.  Especially since my husband only met my sister one time over 20 years ago.

Message from 877-556-4388 EXT 7089 -Monica at Gary Feldman's (sp?) supposed Law office (1 of many parties) calling to collect a debt from a ex-in-law we have not heard from in over 10 years.

Can someone advise what to do? We have messages on the machine a few times a week looking for a woman. I am lost all patience with these slimy people calling our house and leaving annoying messages.
If I knew where she was I would hand deliver her anywhere in the world at this point.

I am pretty sure this is round 2 with Lawyer Gary and crew.

Fake law offices of Gary Feldman. They are a collection agency that uses fake lawers, collection agents, and barred lawers to try to collect on current and zombie debts. Basically they are a collection agency backed by a lawer who wont really sue you.
