They are an illegal, unlicensed debt collector that have been scamming people. Somehow they get your credit report and use the info to try to scam you into paying old debts or even paid off debts hoping that you forgot about them. Total Scumbags!!! Report them to the Federal Trade Commision. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK OR EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL. They will harass you and attempt to intimidate you if you do. They are aggressive and scammers.

They call and leave similar messages but the same male voice uses a different name. Yesterday it was Terry Reed, today it was Mr. Whitmore. Mr. Whitmore even called from a differnt toll free number today and said on my voicemail to call back an even diffrent toll free number. SHADEY!!!

I keep getting phone calls from that number.

Just got same call from 877-559-9833, several different messages over a few months

ive gotten tons of calls from this number, and others with the same guys voice too.  mever says who he is trying to reach, which is really suspicious. even a collection agency will say who the message is for.  sounds like theyre trying to gather personal info to me too.

Total scumbags.  The same guy calls and leaves a bogus message using different names - Wayne Williamson, Terry Freeman ... Dumb Loser ... whatever he goes by, it is a waste of time.  I will never pick up.  It is obvious it is some kind of scam with a debt collection alibi.  A legitimate company never sneaks around trying to hide their name or their representatives names.  The only calls that should be made regarding this "matter" are to the FCC in complaint.  Kiss my a** Wayne / Terry / Dumb Loser!

They've been calling for a couple of months, forceful and belligerent. They're trying to scamm us for ID info to access our bank accounts and credit cards. Total scam.

I came back from a 2 month trip to find 7 or so of these goofy, robocall gibberish solicitations in my voice mail.  Here is the actual text from my last message:

"Good morning.  This is Wayne Williamson.  I am calling on behalf of Regent North America.   I've received a matter of yours in our office that requires your immediate response.  My intentions are to verify location information on this matter and try to [undilute?!] some of the conflicting facts that are currently present.  I'll be in the office until roughly 5 pm central standard time.  I will need you to contact me since I cannot divulge proprietary information  on your voicemail.   You can reach me, in our office, at 877-559-9833.  When you call just ask for Wayne and they'll ring you into my office.  I'll talk you soon."

I have received nearly identical messages using other names.

my operator told me to dial *57 right after the call to report it, but looking that up looks like it traces the number, which i already have on caller ID, so not sure what she meant, will have to investigate further. here's an article with some good suggestions.

I received a message this morning from this number from a Wayne Williamson from Regent North America. When I called, the guy answered with RAMS North America and when I inquired as to what it was inregard to eventually he told me they are Debt Collectors but couldnt transfer me to "Wayne Williamson" without me giving my phone number and name. I, too, have been receiving calls from 1-877-481-1141/ 1-877-588-0798/ 1-877-559-9833 for two months now. I finally returned the call, after they left the same kind of cryptic voice mails, or a recording when I answered, I got a human. I cussed them out really good for me and for all of you.  The "Manager" laughed at me and asked me if I "kissed my kids with that mouth."  I told them to stop harassing me.  He laughed again.   What an awful bunch of people working there.   Geeze.   Harassing perfectly good people for a living SUCKS.  Call me again, I'm learning new cuss words, people.  I have my name on the "Do Not Call" list, which seems worthless. I am going to try the Federal Trade Commission, as suggested.   This is awful....

I just received a similiar call from Wayne Williamson.  The voice is the same one that has been used with several other names.  His lack of credibility is validated by his identity crisis.  His closest relative might be "PEGGY" (lol).  Just a recommendation, but do not give anyone information concerning anyone, if you don't know exactly whom they legally represent.  Bogus-unidentifiable  phone numbers, individuals and agencies can be created with just a few key strokes and a prepaid debit card. Be careful regardless of the caller's sense of urgency or legitimacy.  Have a great day and keep smiling.......

I just received a similar message but this time from a Wayne Williamson from "Regent North America" ?
I googled both names and there was nothing...this is obviously a scam....Don't fall for it, just ignore the calls as annoying as it can be. And the reason they keep calling you back is because they have an automatic message system that is programed with a list of our phone numbers to call out certain days/times. The only way to get your # off is if they remove your # from this program.

I received a call from these jokers today they guy that called me  ( it was a recording ) said his name was Wayne said something about a  file on his desk and  conflicting information and that I needed to call him he did leave a number but before I call any of these fools that call like I always check on here first to see if it is a scam and apparently it is another scam needless to say I am not calling him back.But it pisses me off because these a***s call on our cell phones and waste our minutes.

I've been getting phone calls from these same people for about 2 months and finally called them back at a number they left today: 1-877-559-9833 and the person calling was Terry.  They can't give me any information about the nature of their call, however, they continue to ask for my son.....who has lived with his mother since our divorce some 15 years ago.  They have given my his name with middle initial and have a home address where he resides.  They say they have his social security number and that he must have left my name and phone number as a reference to what they are concerned about.  My son says he hasn't left anyone my name nor phone number.

When I called back I asked for Terry but got Joe LaFae.  He advised that his company's name is Rams North America and that they are located in Kanas City, Kanas.

Sure hope someone can pay them a visit and release their frustrations back on the son of a bitchs!

Some one should contact their local NBC TV affiliate and sic their Comsumer Protections Department to look into this matter.  If it's a scam.......they need to be identified and flogged!!!

There should be a law to lock em up.

Some weird guy trying to trick me into calling him back very vague and actually made me feel like if I didnt call then I would go to jail.

I have had the same problem with the same messages being left.   They use a different name and sometimes call from different numbers (I have a feeling the numbers are from the same scam because the all have about the same type of message but from different people's names.)  I finally called them back and they said the person who had just called me 2minutes before i returned the phone call was not in the office that day (so how could he have called me?)  They coudln't give me any information about who they were or why they were calling me or even a name for who they were calling for.

I've received this call and numerous others. Same voice, same recording, different name. Do NOT give them any information. Fred, Mr. Bogart, Frank Lewis, and today Terri Reed...same recording.

this number keeps calling telling me they have a file on me that they will proceed without me no matter if I call them back or not BUT never about what Kind of file it is tome it is definatley  big fat Hoax of some sort someone trying to get money where there is none.

I get these knuckleheads calling me about once a week. He claims he is Michael Flanagan and as a previous post, states some conflicting facts.
If they don't address you by name or find the number attached to a company you do business with (mortgage, car loan, etc) its a scam. If you do talk to them give no information and make them tell you who you are. Just advice but I wouldn't talk to them.

Leaves no message if you do not answer.  Recorded message starts fast, and repeats no name or number.  Last call Indicated have "conflicted information about you or someone in your household".  Early calls indicated some problem with a business deal you might be involved in.  Twice have been admonished that caller has been trying to reach recipient, but recipient has avoided returning call; if don't call by 6pm, will be necessary to proceed without recipient.  I think this must be a scam.  Why do they continue when they don't get a response?
I think if you call back, you have contacted them and they can say you gave up your Do Not Call rights.

I got the exact same message with the same name about 30 minutes ago.  I have no idea what it's about.  Sounds like a scam
