Received a call from this company informed the lady on the other end I am willing to pay but I am going through a divorce and will take some time plus due to the fact the original company had taken money from my account  I need something in writing like a statement and i will send the payment in money order form she told me no so I told her I have to go I'm at work I hung up she called back 5 times when I answered she said the reason in going thru a divorce is because of my attitude there was no cause for that when I am willing to settle my debt

NRG assets or associates have called me severally with different numbers which don't work after the call, one time I called back and asked what company it was and what they want from me she said she doesn't know area seconds later the same woman calls back and says she is collecting a debt and I tell her not to call me if she doesn't want the police to visit her company.A lady named Renee Bennette faxed my work place trying to get my information if you are a true debt collector you should have my information, don't send fake fax from the computer with no signature, this people are thieves big time.

They are scumbags....they sound like white trash, they wont put what they say in writing...very shady tactics ....
any good responses are be fake sent in by the owners.

NRG collected my money and paid me within 60 days... I had read all this BS before doing business with them and I was planning on documeting any crookery and see if I would be a victim too.... I wasn't \. My salesman was informative and kept me in the loop thewhole 3 months it took to collect my $43,750 at 50%... I have since placed 20 accounts and I am getting checks from them regulary.. Ask for Tony if you every have any problems, I belive he is a manager there and he was responsible for getting me paid

I worked for this company and they do not pay their clients and they do make threats that are not true. they are only there to make money for themselves to live in big houses and support their big lifestyles. they have switched companies many times when the going gets rough and they are found out. they make promises they do not keep to clients and employees Haller is in it for himself no one else. beware

The stuff on here is pretty much true.  Haller is a crook.  Plain and simple.  Do not do business with any of his companies.  Van Dyke is an honest guy who has represented dishonest people.  Nothing wrong with that.

NRG is a total scam...funny how they have all your information, but need you to tell them your address etc before mailing you anything that even PROVES they're legitimate!  They did this to me a few years back, I had to call the police and change my phone number, now they got a hold of my husbands phone number and are doing the same crap to him!  The "debt" they're claiming we owe was paid years ago, it was a payday loan (bad idea, never do it).  I swear the payday loan companies sell your information and these companies just try to get more and more money out of you by scaring you to death, fool me once, good for you, try and fool me again...watch out!!

There are mutliple rumors about whether NRG still has an attorney but there old attorney was definately Jason VanDyke and I think he still represents them.  There was a rumor for a while that Haller fired him but I don't think it is true because he is still representing them in at least one case.  That FAQ on VanDyke's website could be a bluff so that HHTs old creditors leave him alone - his office is less than a block from NRGs building so I doubt that is coincidence.  It does not surprise me at all that Haller, Kisindo, and those guys are stealing from people.  Beware of VanDyke though.  He is an honest guy so you don't have to worry about him stealing from you but he has absolutley no problem representing very corrupt people like Haller if the money is right.  He is probably slightly above average as a lawyer too because I heard he just won a pretty big civil case and a criminal DUI trial.  If you sue NRG and hear from VanDyke you will need to get yourself an attorney.  I worked in the same building with him for several months and he is not the idiot that some people take him for.

In July 2012 I answered my phone and had an unpleasant conversation with a "Mr Walker" of NRG & Associates.   I have also supposedly spoken with a "Roger Warsaw", a "Mr Gonsalez", and another man whose name currently escapes me.  "Mr Walker" and his associates, provide me with daily calls taunting me by syaing that I am supposedly being tracked by a "legal courier" (whose messages are always mumbled with static in the background).  The only clear words are my name and I am gonna serve you legal documents for a notice to appear in court!  If you have any questions, either you or your attorney should call 1-877-275-4936 and refer to your case number XXXXXX."

The so called NRG "attorneys " that have contacted me repeatedly state they are here to help settle the debt; however, they are unwilling to provide me with written verification of the debt or even who the original lender is.  Yet they are threatening to prosecute me as a criminal regarding a debt they have not verified is even my debt...I  have contacted my local Police Dept and the FTC on this matter.  Thanks for the post, I'll also contact the State Bar.

If NRG owes you money then call the Texas attorney general, better business bureau and file on their bond.  File suit right away because they will never pay you.  Michael Haller the owners personal cell number is [removed]  and his direct number is [removed:wrong number].  He is a crook

What was I thinking! I should have done more homework,  I was just pissed off that one of my customers stole my services! Well looking back, I would much rather have my customer screw me then those pieces of S--t! The way I look at it I got screwed twice for the same job. They are not legitiment someone called them bottom-feeding scum. Woderful description! Tony Solars, Mark Johnson all liars. They collected my money haven't seen one dime. Now I need a collection company to collect from a collection company. I'm so screwed!

The latest word making the rounds is the last paychecks issued to employees have bounced.  Some employees left, but apparently not all of them.  I can only imagine how shocked the employees were when this happened...after all, who would ever expect that Mike Haller, who has been ripping off clients for 4-5 years, would ever do the same thing to his employees?

Well now NRG is using an address in Addison. To be exact 16775 Addison Rd-Suite 300. An agent by the name of Jeremy Coffman contacted us. My boss just signed a contract and I told him that we should not be doing business with this company. He said that he wanted to collect what was due to him, so I faxed the contract over. God help us...

Check thier better business bureau rating in dallas, addison texas, enough said!

SO HAller Harlan, Taylor ran by Michael Haller plays the system. he owed companies over 280k in debt that he collected and when enough threats from the IRS and customers involved declared Letigation he did what every other agency does Corporate Shell so what does that mean to you. Your F****D! excuse my french. Tony Kirshindo 1 eyed black guy, Michael Haller big huge nose looking just ugly dude, Logan Graff  who is pretty cool but shady too ,who use to work there and now is employed at another agency there thieves. You wanna find the guy who Stole your money he lives in Salina Texas in the big house down the block to Deion Sanders. These guys use ppl in there employment, spoof numbers, and do not have an atty or investigators. There old atty. is Jason Van Dyke look him up he has his own firm now and has an FAQ page that confirms all this.  WATCH OUT for these crooks and just ignore the calls.

Interesting post...considering that the phone number this concerns was for NR Group in Buffalo NY, a true bottom-feeding collection agency/debt buyer primarily involved with old payday consumer loans.  And you say you own a lumber company in Texas, and the agency you are talking about offers 5 day debt recovery...this is a staple of the commercial debt recovery industry in which, to my knowledge, NR Group in NY has never been involved.  Perhaps you meant to post this about NRG & Associates in Addison, TX (formerly in Plano, TX), which is a commercial collection agency.  

However, if your post is true, then one can only conclude that you haven't been a client of theirs for very long.  NRG & Associates, like it predecessor Haller Harlan & Taylor, is not known for maintaining long-term relationships with their clients...mainly because that would require them to pay their clients when they collected money on their behalf, something that cuts too deeply into the personal income of Michael Haller.

If your post is not true, then you are undoubtedly an employee of NRG & Associates, attempting to avert some of the backlash that occurs as a result of all of these negative posts.  Sadly, if that is true, you are not competent enough to identify this series of pasts as having nothing to do with your company.
