I have also been getting calls from this number 3-4 times per day, every time I answer there is nobody on the line and the call is disconnected after a few seconds. The only time I did get someone on the line was approximately 2 months ago, they were indeed trying to sell me something to do with water heaters. I told them I have no use for that product as a renter and asked to be removed from their calling list, but that obviously didn't happen. I have tried calling this number back and either the call is disconnected right away or I listen to Frank Sinatra until I decide to hang up.

Today I had enough of the constant calls so I filed a complaint against them with the CRTC, then looked their number up on their website. I first called their East Coast Operations number in FL 888-520-4890, got a receptionist who made me hold for a few minutes and was rude when I explained the problem and informed them that a complaint had been filed with CRTC... Then I called their Corporate HQ in CA at 800-457-1181 and this time got someone MUCH more understanding and polite who promised she would call the East Coast office directly and escalate the the problem to management if necessary, and to call back if the calls continue. I hope this is the last I will hear from them! Good luck to anyone else who is receiving these annoying calls.

I got the phone calls from this number at least 3-4 times a day.  It's really really annoying.  I asked the guys to stop calling me, but they are deaf and continue calling.  I really don't know how to deal with it.  Very frustrated!!!!

okay so i answered this number one day and tol the guy i dont make the decisions for that, i told him the person that does wouldnt be interested so dont bother calling back, now they call 5 - 9 times a day and hang up when ever i answer.
is there anythng i can do to make this stop, whenever i call back i get music thats it, no person, is there a way to get them to stop calling i work from home and dont need this crap tieing up my phone....

These people are driving us nuts... constant calls... i called back and get Dean Martin singing... TAKE OFF HOSERS!  I am in Canada.  If I need anything, I WILL CALL YOU!.... SO TAKE OFF!

Very annoying receiving calls from 877-565-4156.. when I redailed the number I get MUSIC... nice music... but again annoying.

I live in Canada and we've been receiving several calls a day from this number. Just called it back and its the AGR Group calling regarding Home Reliance protection plans. Asked them to remove us from their calling list.

They've been calling me too - about twice a day. I just ignore their phone calls.

15 times a day sometimes from this number 1-877-565-4156  They call every day Mon to Fri.  Blocking them on Rogers and hope that works.

I live in Ontario, and this number had called my house several times a day starting this past winter.  Usually it is a hang-up call, but on occasion there is someone on the other end claiming to be from Reliance.  I don't believe that they are as they've never had anything useful or important to say or ask.  I asked them why they felt the need to call multiple times a day to either hang up or say "how's your water heater?", and I asked them to kindly remove me from their list.  They agreed, and I didn't receive calls for maybe a month after that.  

Well, they've started calling again this April.  I get 3-5 hang-up calls per day from them again now.  I just finished reporting them to the national do not call registry since I'm signed up for that.  I also called back this number relentlessly today, finally got past the musak to a person who sounded American, and told her that these calls need to stop.  She repeated my number from her caller ID, and said that I would no longer receive calls.  Let's see how long it lasts this time.  I really hope that the DNC registry follows up on this one, cause it looks like these people are harassing a lot of Canadians out there with incessant daily hang-up calls.

Just called the Clearwater and asked to be removed - they Asked for my number and they said OK have a good day and hung up - we'll see what happens.

One time it did show a name RELIANCA, but who know who they are? I don't?

This number calls me several times a day. It never leaves a voicemail, so it must not want to contact me too badly, or else they would leave one. It is super annoying, especially because both my partner and I work shiftwork. I tried many times to phone it, but you just get this crazy muzak and it never does anything else. I waited the one day, figuring that they were just on another call and that mine would be answered by the next available rep., but after (literally) 15 minutes I got pissy and hung up.

I've been receiving calls from this number too, and it shows up on my caller id at all different times during the day, but never when I'm home. I tried calling it last week to find out who it is and to tell them to f**k off and leave me alone, and I ended up listening to music for a few minutes before I hung up. Who are these people and why don't they leave me alone?

Being harassed by someone calling from 877-565-4156.  They simply hang up when I answer the phone.  Probably checking to see if anyone is home.   Where can I report this abuse?

This Number calls me every weekday around 9:30am for over a year.
usually there is no one there, or a quick hang up.
today a man asked for Mr. or Mrs. _______
Me: "Yes? hello?"
Him: "Hello, Mr. ______
Me: "yes."
Him: "goodbye"

out of curiosity I called back, 1st just music...then hang up.
called back, got a receptionist for "Reliance Home Comfort" whatever that is
she offered to connect me to a rep, I said "not hanks just wondering who would bother calling everyday and hang up, thanks, goodbye"

I am living in Toronto, Canada.
I got call from this number one time one day,
Today is 5th day.
It happen from 10:00 Am to 12:00 Am.
When I picked it up,No voice in the other side.

I get the same thing with the Frank Sinatra music. When I do answer the call I hear silence then a beep an then the call ends. They call 5 times a day!

This # will call me 5 times a day and NEVER leave a message! I try calling them and after 1 ring it starts playing Frank Sinatra music! Ridiculous!! I have yet to speak with somebody there but if I do I hope they will listen when I tell them to stop harassing me.

I rent my home--and the water heater is from Reliance. The owners of the home don't always get the bills paid on time, and I start getting the phone calls about arrears--for about $40.00, it's not worth the frustration. They have threatened to put in for bill collection!! I have informed the owners, and they tell me hang up--which i DO, but the frustration is there. Reliance starts about 2 days after receipt of the bill, which is rediculous.
I have pleaded with the owners to change companies. I wouldn't recomend them to anyone.

Yup they annoyed me so much that I got rid of there water heater and changed to National.

Funny how I had a problem with my water heater last week so had to make several calls in to Reliance to come fix it, and now I'm getting phone calls from this number. Previous to my call in, they had a different phone number on file for me, and now that they've updated their files, I'm getting unsolicited phone calls from telemarketers.
Definitely a pain in the a**!
