World Recovery Services...its a debt collector

Among telemarketeers The Leukemia Society must surely be the worst offender.  They have called me dozens of times using at least half a dozen different telephone numbers.  These numbers usually have 866 or 877 as the prefix, but there are others.  I blocked all of them that had appeared on my caller ID.  That bought me maybe one month's peace before they resorted to the current number.  Doubtless this is a worthy cause, and eminently worthy of support, but how they expect to raise any money while destroying all good will with such outrageous tactics is beyond me.   A plague upon them all.    (n.b. that is not a typo.  I deliberately conflate the terms 'racketeer' and 'telemarketer': hence telemarketeer.)

OMG....soooo, tired of the calls!  No messages, when I do answer there is no one there!

In a 4 day period, I got calls from 14 from several different telemarketers including these idiots.  I need to screen every call before I answer it to see whether I should waste my time with these and the other bozos.  I have tried to block as many calls as I can but I think these cretins use many different numbers.  I'm thinking about buying a new phone which has a capacity to block up to 30 phone numbers since my carrier can only block 12.  It's too bad the FCC can't catch these fools and prosecute them.

Barbara, the b*****ds can call you as much as they want since they are a charity. Do like I did.....no ringer....I just use it for outgoing calls and use cell for friends.

I have 3 of the Beltronic AD100's hooked together and this number makes all 3 of them full.  300 blocked numbers........GEEZ...........

Thanks for the information about removing my number from this calling list.  It should take from 2 to 30 days but I am tired of the calls every day and someimes twice a day.

This is the Leukemia Society calling for money, called the phone number and you can press 1 to get deleted from their calling list.

A call-back to the Caller ID states that it is the Leukemia and Lymphoma (sp?) people - probably to raise money.

I am sick and tired of all these calls, I now have a list of 4 that call almost every day, phone rings 3 times and they hang up, what is the point of the calls?  This has been going on for months.

Call two  or three times a day for a year. Please stop!

I called back this number too. It was Leukimia A**. I got a recording saying they are conducting their annual drive. They had a recording requiring you to enter your phone.

Just got a call from this number, too.  Didn't answer but called it back.  It is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association.  Had a prompt to take my number off their list, so did that.  They said it could take up to 30 days.
