i've been getting calls from 877-573-4984 for a few months now. luckily my phone has a security option, it only rings when people in my contacts call, otherwise it goes straight to voicemail. most phones have this and people don't know it. it goes each time these meatballs call. clearly a scam. they listen to my VM greeting then hang up after a second of recording silence. so i get the voicemail. its better than it ringing all the time and dealing with nonsense.

Called and left no message 8 times. I finally called back and the call wasn't for me (duh, my message tells you who you are calling). Would not say why they were calling just that it was a matter for whoever this other person is. Said company name was CSR. Sounded like a debt collector.

Said to call back 1-855-880-3289 if I could pass along the message.

I keep receiving calls from this number, they don't leave messages, just keep calling. If they were legitimate, they would leave you a message. I know some about the law and these people can not call you at home if you tell them not to. Tell them that the only correspondance you will have with them is through the mail and the mail only. They can not call your work place either. This is a law as mandated from the federal trade commission. If they continue to harrass you, tell them that you will report them to the federal trade commission, they will stop. They can not show up at your home either, if they do tell them to leave or you will call the police. Then you can get no tresspassing notice against them.  If they don't play fair, then don't you play fair. Protect yourself, if this is a legitimate company they will contact you through the mail.

First of all the court doesn't call and threaten that you are going to be served papers... They just do it.  WHAT A SCAM THESE PEOPLE ARE!

I got a call from 877-573-4984 many times already and they left messages all time saying they are from CCS. They are asking me for the SSN but I did not reply to them. They called me like 50 times already. I blocked this number. One month later, another number 617-581-1060 called me and they left messages. They are also from CCS. GOD! Why they are continue to call me. My credit report is clean and I don't have debts recently. When I Google these numbers, they are fake collections agencies.

I have to report these to Better Business Bureau.

I had a missed call from this number when I checked my voicemail it said i had defaulted on some tax obligation. I was confused so I called back 3x and someone kept picking up the phone without saying hello and hung it back up. Finally my 4th try I got some rude lil girl on the phone talking about a loan I got back in 2007 for $2500 but she said I owed them over $3000 because of taxes and fees (O_o). I had just talked to the attorney that had been handling the account back in May and the balance was around $2700. This company is a complete scam & needs to be reported. I told the girl I'd love to pay it off but there is no way that I can and that I am not employed and with a very sarcastic tone she said "oh so you're not working @ (my employer from '08) anymore?" I said no I got laid off in '09 and I'm still unemployed. She then started asking how am i living and if I'm still driving my car I just got in November. I told her that's none of her business and how the hell does she know what I'm driving. She kept saying fine "we'll just get a judgement against you then" and that she was sending somebody to my house Thursday and I better have 2 forms of ID. Finally I got tired of her attitude and told her it sounds like she's threatening me so kiss my @$$ and send her bulldogs my way because I'm ready to send em back to her licking their wounds. Haven't heard anything else. I wish she would show up @ my door personally because I'm ready to mollywhop her @$$ about this mess. Don't call and threaten me about some stupid mess that's 4 years old and just showed up on my credit 3 months ago.

Just received a call from this company.  I have been getting a lot of these.  My fiance got on the phone and asked what this was about.  The person became nasty got their supervisor who said I committed fraud it was a payday loan said I was going to go to jail.  He just asked them to send us the information via fax.  He just kept threatening my fiance and threatened to have us both thrown in jail.

Good question! They called me 4 times in a row, 30 minutes apart. I called the number from another phone and they said they are called "UAS", Universal Asset Services.
