Nasty, persist caller, calling my employer - personal business matter that needs to be addressed or they will serve papers at my work

Call from Investigater Meijers; stating there were numerous hits against my SS# and it is very important that I contact him by end of business today to settle this matter or they will have no choice but to serve me with papers.

According to the FCC Rules a debt collector cCANNOT use any type of scare tatic to get you to pay them ie. tell you that if you dont pay them that they will have a summons for court and put a warrent out for your arresst. Its agaianst the law! It is also agianst the law for them NOT to tell you who they are which they dont tell you they also must give you their information when asked which they do NOT do. Just thought that this might help.

a guy named Todd called about a bounced check and that if i didnt pay them they would procacute me for fraud and all that i told them that i wasnt the one that bounced the check my ex husband did. He also told me they had been trying to serve me for over 5 years when I had been in the same place for longer than that. When I called him back they never said the company name or anything he was nice about it, but i think its only because i was nice talking to him. I dont know if this is for real i have had many federal state and local background checks and nothing had shown up. Im confused Im going to see if i can find more information from the BBB. I got a call from a guy nameed Todd about a bounced checked that my exhusband wrote in  my name and told me that i have a warrent out for me...I have been pulled over a few times and it never showed up as well as moved and got a new licence in another state that runs this type of thing and nothing showed up should i call them back and tell them that i have to move my payment back a couple of days or should i just pay it i dont have the money for a lawyer or anything and have 3 kids that depend on me what should i do....please email me back at fairy6669@gmail.com thanks

I got about the same from Morgan.  He was very nasty and wouldnt give me any information either.  This isnt a department that knows what they are doing.  Do not give them any information I think they are up to no good.

They called me saying I needed to settle something out of court or they would serve me papers at work.  They said they did a back ground check.  The fact is they had the wrong guy.  When I questioned them they became nasty implying i was who they were looking for.  this is very phishy and I have reported them.  I advise you do the same.

Real nasty guy named Morgan said he was from fraud unit and sending a summons and wouldnt give info on his company etc
