The other messages about this # are old, so I thought I'd tell everyone they are still calling. Got a call from them this week, and also from 877-587-4724. They leave no msg. & I have no clue who they are. Jerks, I guess...

Just recieved the same call...called Sprint and they said that this is suspicious and not to respond to them or give out any information. They took the number and are looking into it for what ever that is worth.

NEVER give out ANY digits of your SS# to anyone. The last 4 digits are the Holy Grail to criminals. Hang up on these jerks.

I use to work for them and for irrelevant reason I am no longer. But you guys have nothing to worry about, the company is legit ( they are not directly from sprint but are agents for sprint). I use to do their confirmations. All you have to do to receive a free or reduced price upgrade on your phone is renew your contract. You get to try the phone out for 30 days without penalties. if within those 30 days you do not want the phone you return it and everything stays the same, if you keep the phone then your contract is renewed and some of you pay a reduced activation fee or get it waved ( only those who qualify can get it waved). They do not ask for your full SSN, we were not allowed to, but only the last four digits and I am sure the Sprint Xpress super store is not the only company that has asked you guys for the last 4 of your SSN. The reason we ask for the last four is to confirm that you are indeed the rightful holder of the account, but that info is already on file. So take a breather, if you do not feel comfortable upgrading your phone through a phone call then make it known, but please be a little nicer to my pals at the call center, some of you can be really rude and even though you are complete strangers to one another trust me sometimes the things you throw at them (and me while I worked there) are hurtful. Like I'm sure you do, they are just doing what they HAVE to to earn a living. I hope this has been somewhat helpful to some of you. God bless and have a good life :)

I had this number on my phone and didn't take the call- but had looked here- then my husband told me he had gotten a call and got us 2 new phones since were eligible for upgrades!  I thought omg!   So I called the actual Sprint cust svc number today from our bill- and indeed it was Sprint that had called- we just had to renew our contract which was no problem and we both got free, new upgraded phones which we did need- but she had all the info in the system as he had told me so it was legit- which was a relief!!!!

I've received a call from the 877-587-4723 number for the last 3 or 4 days at about the same time each day.  All about 2 to 3 pm eastern.  I can't take a call at that time of day since I'm at work. No voice message and I don't take text messages.  If it is Sprint, that would make sense since my contract is up in a couple of months.  I thought I had made it clear to them not to bother soliciting me, but some people can be a little dense.  Thanks to everyone for sharing their information on this caller.   Mango

I had received a couple of text messages and phone calls from 8775874723 almost each month during last two years. I was so mad about their harassment.

I do NOT want to receive text messages or phone calls from anyone who is trying to sell me something!

I've been receiving calls from this number as well.  Usually the caller never says anything, but the last call I received sounded like a crank call.  Of course, the person may not have been paying attention that I had answered the phone, and was in her own little office conversation...

I answered the phone, and a young woman said, "Smell the fruit."  I replied, "What?"  "Smells fruity," she tells me.  "What?!  What the Hell do you want," I asked irritated.  "Smell the strawberries." - That was the end of the call.  The woman hung up on me, and I immediately started researching the number on the internet.

They called my cell phone and asked for someone with a different first name than mine but the same last name. I have an unusual last name - they got that right but not my first name.  I wanted to ask how they got the number - I don't give out this phone number to anyone but close friends and family.

Also got this call.  They claim to be Sprint Promotions department but I doubt that.  They will ask for your SSN when you call.  Don't give it to them.  You can ask to be removed from their list.
