i have gpt this same text today. And the other day i got a text from the same number saying i am pre approved for a car loan. Which i know isnt true bc i have bad credit. Its all a scam. The lady i talked to about the movie extra gave me her name. Rose Gomez and a number 1-800-508-0298. I didnt think to ask for a address. But its a scam.

It is too bad I love so far away  I would fix the spam text messages personally.  I managed to get a address by telling the 1/2 assed engrish speaking person I lost connection with my last phone call and needed to get their address to send them documents.   Well   I was told this was Casting Services and the address was

Tomorrow they will get a colurfull phonecall and email from me telling them to stop spamming me or I will take action.   now I know for a fact that they have to pay to use the 877 service per call   so I have a way of spamming them back and will do so if I continue to get spam text messages ON MY SONS PHONE WHICH HE IS 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4/24/2012 got a text 778-93 from 877-589-4432 wanting xtras for a movie, pay 300.00 per day. Did not respond. Production companies for movie extras DO NOT SEND arbitrary text messages to hire people to be in movies!  They use AGENTS who are in the business. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE TYPE OF TEXTS OR EMAILS! And do not respond to them. A complete waste of time!

I just did. I believe its a scam. I asked where he was from bc i liked his accent  and he said " we are located in san francisco" and he only gave a first name and i was going to have to pay and they just wanted any kind of pictures around the house.

Is this a scam?

This is for a company called Casting 360 previously known as Talent6. It's an expensive website where you can find out who is casting background and more. However I would advice not to pay them as you can gain background experience through free and very low cost company's. Here are few for California. Casting Networks, Central Casting, Craigslist (But be aware of scams.  I always ask for them to send specific details such as address and contact person. Scammers won't have or give this information and always bring a friend)

i got the same message. I never called it; thought I would do my research first on this site.

I also got a text message about being a movie extra.... I also got text messages about being a mystery shopper.... I called the phone about the movie extra and I asked the guy.... "is this gonna cost me anything" and he told me it only cost 1.98 for something I can't remember what it was....
