I called back the number, and it says, "Thank you for calling AT&T.  Thank you for returning our call.  Please hold for the next available agent."

They call constantly. Technically it's ok because I'm an AT&T customer, and they are trying to push UVerse. I've told them many times I'm not interested and take me off the list but they just keep calling

We've gotten calls from this number previously and did as many posters here said, we called ATT and complained, and the ATT Rep. was very patient and kind.  Took all info. and promised we would be placed on their "ATT's" no call list.  That lasted a whole couple of weeks people...They started up again and if we were placed on their 'no call' list, no one is paying attention at ATT.  It doesn't matter if you're already a customer with ATT. They do not care. They'll continue their telemarketing no matter how kind the service representative is that you've spoken to. It's also irritating when we're lied to after going through the trouble of calling the company and speaking to 'kind, well trained ATT personnel,' you'll find you're getting the calls again after a short respite. Suggest we all flood to the Comapny with snail mail complaints instead of e-mail complaints. The powers that be never see the e-mail complaints. Then, we should all start searching for another telephone carrier. If enough of us write a U.S. mail message to this company, perhaps the big wigs with the fat wallets will begin to take heed!  The only way to reach these greedy CEO's is by taking away the source of their paycheck's...Our hard earned money!  If we could all agree to doing this...I can guarantee that the big wigs in these organizations will take notice, especially when it starts effecting their own superior income potential.

Keep getting calls from this number, they don't leave a message; I don't pick up the phone, or I pick up on the first ring and then quickly put the receiver back on the phone which at least stops the ringing.  They usually call late in the evening and it's extremely annoying.

These calls are probably junk sales calls from AT&T.  I get several of these calls every day, Monday through Saturday, anywhere between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM.  They leave no message or else just hang up.  It is illegal for them to make robo-calls where you can't speak with a human being within 2 seconds of your picking up.

You can file an FCC complaint on line via the web by filling out FCC form 1088D.  It takes about two minutes to fill out.  Find it on Google.

If you're an existing customer or have had a business relationship with AT&T within the last five years, they are allowed to call, even if you have registered on the Do Not Call List.  None the less, the scumbags aren't allowed to make repeated harassing robo-calls.

I get these phone calls everyday from 1-877-589-6960. I am on the do not call list but they call everyday. I want this reported. It is aggrevating! It is at&t.

Caller ID says: "TOLL FREE CALL 877-589-6960." The b*****ds call daily. Because of so many telemarketers generally, I screen all calls. I keep the phone ringer off, and the answering machine volume on. Telemarketers do not leave messages. Anyone I want to talk with will usually identify themselves and start talking when the machine gets it. Otherwise, I don't touch the phone. Today, 2/9/2011, I did answer it & they hung up. I called the 6960 #, but a recording said the # had been disconnected. The lying b*****ds... OK. We can stop the calls & fix their wagon at the same time.

Next time you see any mailing address of ATT, Write it down. Then we we need to flood their physical mailbox with written demands to stop the nuisance telemarketing calls. But do not use the envelopes they provide. They have machines to open those. Use an odd or uncommon size envelope. They need to have paid personnell open those manually, and it becomes more costly for them. Envelopes of the size used for greeting cards clog up the automated system, cause delays, and extra expense.
   So, it will cost each of us an extra postage stamp. Few things in life are worth more than peace of mind.

Came up just as a toll-free number so I let my machine get it, they hung up on the machine so I called THEM back.  Yes, it is AT&T trying to sell services.  I spoke to a polite guy named Alex & asked to be removed from their telemarketing list, he said he would remove me.

877-589-6960 is ATT.  I just called them back and they removed me from the calling list.  Takes 30 days.

They hung up when I answered. So I called back. A very polite ATT rep tried to sell me on their UVerse TV. I explained to him that it's rude to call people and hang up. Not only was he apologetic, he offered to put me on the company's Do Not Call list. I'm already on the national one, but I guess because I do business with ATT, they're allowed to call. Anyway, it was annoying, but when I reached them, they seemed willing to resolve this.

This number has called our residence no fewer than 32 times in the last month.  They call many times each day every single day of the week from 9am until 730pm central.  I've told them repeatedly to stop calling but they continue and now I either don't answer or if I do answer I just put the phone down until they hang up.  HOW do i stop this non-sense???  Please help!

This number shows up only as Toll-free Call, but is definitely still being used by AT&T. We received a call from them today promoting their U-Verse service. At least a polite, live person spoke when I answered. Too many automated calls these days - and many that don't respond at all when you answer the phone!

These are tele-marketers on be-half of AT&T?  And it is a robot caller, which is now not allowed. Report the number and block it from your phones!!

Number 877-589-6960 calls repeatedly but leaves no message or hangs up when answered. Dialed back on them and got a recording that it's an out of order phone number.

They called again and I spoke with them today. It's AT&T. I didn't ask what they wanted, just asked them politely to take our number off their list. They complied. No problems.

Calls numerous times per week but never leaves messages.

Called at 3:57 PM.  "Toll Free Call" is all the Caller ID said.  I don't answer anonymous calls.  No message.

I got maybe 5-6 calls a day from this number for the last few days.Never picked it up, but just 2 minutes ago  I called them back and the message says that it's AT&T and that they were calling me with "some exciting promotion products...."

So, i think,if they don't stop calling,i'm going to cancel my phone service with them,it's reallyyyyy annoying,isn't it?

Constant calls from 1-877-589-6960.  No one on other end. Quickly hangs up.

Continue to receive calls from this number and 877-589-6960. Just scammers and B-holes!
Report them and hopefully something will be done.

Received calls from this number. No message or nothing.  ID as toll free call.  Sound like a scammer with a new phone number.  Report and dis-regard.
