under the tcpa they have to pay for their crime of calling you on your cell phone without permission and it gets worse for them if they use an autodialer. Also 1,000 fine under fdcpa for not giving the debt collector disclosure.

My business is in Las Vegas, & there have also been calls coming in on our non published roll over line.
I'm not returning the call to 877-591-0433, Ron Kennedy.  No name is given, or a reason for the call.

I recieved over 70 phone messages from this number in the past 4 months

Keeping getting these calls, and I refuse to call back, given they have not ever call me by name or tell me who they really are. I had filed a complaint with the FTC back in March and I will do so again. Do *NOT* ever call these people, especially knowing you are not in debt, etc.

This number called my house and "Mary" left a message saying to call Ron Kennedy about important information. Says I can reach him  until 7 P.M.

Got a call from this guy, if it's a debt collector (which I think it is) then he's *probably* got the right guy (me). I went through a difficult time and thus do have some debts, but some of them aren't mine, but that's a long story.

The short version is that I am willing to deal with these people so long as they can confirm I am the debtor. I am in the process of cleaning that whole episode up, and eager to get these settled up. But when I requested this jacka$$ to send me the documentation in writing, all he told me is 'that's a common stall tactic, we need to work out a payment plan.". I proceeded to tell him I'm not writing a check to someone who calls me and tells me their name, it's just not going to happen. If I owe a debt then you best send me the documents and we can proceed from there. Otherwise you can suck both my testes".

It looks as if this guy doesn't have any of the proper documents to the debts he is pursuing. Not a very bright moron, now is he?

Well I am just 15 years old and this lady is telling me I have files with Ron Kennedy? I mean... I haven't been through anything with files only in my parents custody battle for me and my twin brother. These calls I have been getting since 2009, and they stopped for a few months then now their calling again and its just so annoying. I am not going to call back but I hope these people stop, I am only a teenager. Including there calling my cellphone during school... superly duperly annoying so my phone vibrates and its a call. Hopefully they stop soon.

We received this same call with the same copied/recorded message.   They are not providing adequate information, including proper details about what they are calling for, name of company, why they are contacting me, etc.

my wife in Las Vegas received a call from this 877-591-0433 number. They told her it was about an account she had with US BANK but all their information was wrong from the address to the time she had the account. When she called, they called her by name before she ever said a word, but when I stopped the call and called them back, they acted like they didn't know anything about what I was talking about. Then she called US BANK and there is no debt owed. It is all a scam. SCAM!!!!!!

i too have gotten several calls over the past 3 months from Mary with Ron's office. the same number to call back but a different number called from 18775917014. I'm in Oregon and I have T-Mobile. So not really sure what to say about it, I just wish they would stop.

I had been receiving these calls from Mary at Ron Kennedy's office too & finally got irritated with it and called them back.  The rep was really rude & hung up on me (twice).  They were calling for someone I have never heard of & I told them they had the wrong number & that person never had my phone number.  (I had contacted my phone company & they said my number was a brand new number when they issued it to me - no one else had the number before me.)  I ask to be taken off the call list & they refused to do it.  They said they could call me as many times as they wanted & there was nothing I could do about it.  I contacted the state attorney generals office & filed a claim.  They said if you tell the person that they have the wrong number & ask to be taken off the calling list the company is required to do so.  I urge other people to do the same thing.  I have worked in a collection department before and we would have never allowed our employees to behave this way.

We also  got a call today  from 877-591-0433, Mr Ron Kennedy asking to call him back regarding a legal claim against our business. It was a voice message.  Our business is located in Miami .
This must be a joke or a marketing trick to look for new clients.

Soounds like we are on the same calling list! I just got this yesterday! I could tell just by the way the woman talked that it was a scam.

These people are relentless, Mary calls from Ron Kennedy's office twice a day, doesn't ask for anybody but tells you to call Ron Kennedy b/c he's only in the office until 7pm. This is out and out debt collection of the highest order.  They call from 800-265-1234 , 877,591,0433 and 999-999-9999.  When you call your put on hold and told to wait for the next representative, when the call is picked up, they ask what number your called from.  The sad part is, they are asking for my X-husband whom I've been divorced from since 2003.   Obviously skip tracing!    The first women I talked to was very nasty and called me a b***h when I told her it was skip tracing and that I'd report her to the FTC.  When I called back and asked for a supervisor and told her name was Terra,  I told her I would report to the FTC, if the number was not removed from the system immediately.  Now we all know that Terra was probably a made up name, they all do it in debt collection.    We will see.

Just received one of these annoying messages on my cell phone, same line "this is Mary, you need to call Ron Kennedy to update an important file that was referred to his office".  Caller ID for Mary is (866) 886-7388 and Ron Kennedy is (877) 591-0433.  My phone number is on "do not call list" and no reason for debt collectors to be calling.  If it happens again, they are in for a lawsuit...

Keep getting repeated calls to call back - important file on their desk.  I have no debts.  Very annoying.

They have caller ID so if you call back they know who they are calling for based on your number. They asked for someone that used to work here but I told her that person was no longer here and she hung up on me without letting me tell her to stop calling this number! It is Regent Asset Management and they are a debt collector, I dont know what company they are collecting for.

I just got a call from 951 324-5198 and a Mary wanted me to call Ron Kennedys desk at 877 591-0433.  after reading all the other posts here it sounds like he has some automated dialer using the area codes of the people that he is harassing, as my number starts with 951 also.  wish this scumbag would wreck his car on the way to his gold digging office and die as this happens twice a day, however this is a new tactic using a 951 area code instead of his normal 877 code.

I have received a few calls also to call "Ron Kennedy's office". However, there should be no collectors calling me. Therefore, I have not returned the voicemails. I live in AZ and it seems several others are in MO? So that leads me to believe it's a scam. Thanks for posting.

Mary, from Ron Kennedy's office has called twice this week, and so has Ron Kennedy.  This number is a professional business operations and has no debt.  These types of calls need to be stopped.

I don't know Ron, have no dealings concerning Ron, so I guess Ron won't be getting a return call from me.

This is Regent calling.  This is now "Mary" calling for "Ron Kennedy" with a new 800#.  They called from 303-214-0048.  This is the same blah...blah...blah that keeps calling.  These scumbags are the lowest bottom feeders.  DON'T RETURN THEIR CALL.
