They called and left an automated message saying I needed to call them before 5:30 PM today. They gave no information on who they were and didn't even mention my name... Sounds to me like their trolling for suckers

Got a recorded message from a man saying he has an urgent matter to discuss with us and that we need to call before 5:30 pm central time today. Puh lease! Didn't mention any names, what the matter was, or who he was. I guess there has to be someone stupid enough to call them back or they wouldn't bother making the calls.

Who is it?

I keep getting the same call but he calls from a 1877-481-1141 i don't answer and when i listen to themessage the machines says its Monday the 4th of November 2010 and then he leaves this other # in the message 1-877-591-1248.

i get this same stupid phone call EVERY stinking day :/  every time i call them right back and half the time i get put on hold like you do or sometimes i will reach someone and they tell me that they don't even show my phone # and that they will take it off of their list & that they are looking for someone else...but yet i get a call the next day!

These people are scammers. Best to ignore them. Do not give them any information at all! They left a message this morning on my answering machine  that was very aggressive and made it sound like that I needed to call them or else.

"over the last number" = "over the last few months"

They called, I didn't answer, I've received several phone calls from various "877 591" numbers over the last number.  They all appear to use the same technique, they know your name, they say you owe money on a debt you may or may not have had previously, and they threaten to take you to court if you don't give them your personal information and pay a certain amount.  I've reported every phone number to my state's Attorney General.  Even if I didn't answer it, every "877 591" number gets reported.

Look for your state's Attorney General's contact info (some kind of consumer protection email address) and contact them about it.

I got this message twice in the past two weeks. First the guys name is Mr. Duncan, today it was Mr. Jensen....sounds bad don't call back!

Received a call this morning 11/5 from an 800 service.  Left on answering machine the following:  A Mr. Danson said we should call the above number before 4:30 today Central Time.  It was imperative that we return the call about a matter that has crossed his desk.

now it says it's mr jansen and gave the wrong date...it is a very noticable computer generated voice. came up on caller id as toll free call

Just received a call from 877.591.1238.  I asked for Region Asset Management, the name given, to identy who they are and the caller would not do so.  She kept insisting for me to identify myself to her.  I did not.  I asked the caller again and she still would not identify Region Asset Management.  I still do not know who they are with the exception of what I can find via the internet.
Shortly after the call from 877.591.1238 I received a call and vm from 757.579.6448.  The vm told me to call the 877.591.1238 number as-soon-as possible.

I did nothing, but report this to you and I may speak with the Attorney General for the State of California in order to stop this.  I have no problems with any financial institutions and hope this helps others to realize it is a scam and the calls are bogus, in my opinion.

BTW:  This all took place on my cellular phone which is not a California telephone number it is New Mexico.  And, I believe these telephone calls are coming from Norfolk, VA.  One never knows as it could be from anywhere on this globe.

Just received this "upsetting" call from someone saying that "a matter of yours has been brought to my attention. You NEED to call ME before 5:30pm today before the situation  in my office escalates!!!" I googled the number as no name of the company was left. Sounds like a scam. I did not respond.

They do not identify themselves or the person they wish to reach! No way would I answer this or give them ANY personal info!!!

I received everything you guys have received except for going to arrest me. They started calling about two month ago, saying there was a file in their office directed to me. I didn't reply. Later, they said it's very crucial I reply by 5 pm Central standard time. Later, they said I've called you many times, but you failed to reply every time; it's urgent you call back.
I called back 3 times, got hung up three times. First time, immediately after I said I'm not Froid, they hung up. Second time, I said, do not ever ever call me again, they hung up. Third time, I said I was not froid, I appreciated it if you remove me from your calling list, he went, I appreciate if you gave me Froid's number.
They started calling using 877-591-1218, they another 877 number. Then, 404-601-7267, then 877-475-1324, then a local number with my area code, ***-304-1887. But they didn't mention their identity, maybe I didn't ask for it.
I guess I have to call legal service to figure something out, coz simply blocking the number won't help, they have tons of numbers.

Same number as what others have reported by different name.  Message said he was Mr. Schneider and the voice was intimidating.  Something along the lines of because I have not responded to previous calls (which I never got), he has no choice.  But I could still call him back by 5pm Central time and ask for "Mr. Schneider."  Beware.  Don't call back and waste your minutes.

How can you sue these people?

another number for these scam artist is 404-601-7267. Automated call - sue them for 1k!

Every collector must send you a written ?validation notice? telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don?t think you owe the money.

Debt collectors also may not "repeatedly use the phone to annoy someone."

I got a call this morning asking to call back and ask for a "Mr. Scheider" about a file that had landed  on his desk. When i called back, a lady said she would help me if i gave her my information.... but i told her that i wasn't talking to her unless her name was "Mr. Schiender".  She just hung up the phone!!! :)  The second time i called, another lady told me that my phone number wasn't even listed in their system and it looks like someones phone number is being forwarded to my phone. She asked me never to call them back till i figured out what phone number that was... how the hell am i supposed to figure out who in the world has forwarded their call to me. How frustrating!!!!!!!! and these people RUDE! jezzzzzzzzzz

I received a phone call from this number which harrasme.  I do not owe any money and I'm in the do not call list.  Please stop these people from calling and harrasing.

I received a call this morning - but he told me to contact this number and ask for Mr. Adams and he will get in contact with me.  I don't know who "me" is.

I am the same way you don't address me by my name and state your business name - then I am not going to call back.

Got another call from a Mr. Lynch / Ms. Potter today.  Said that there was an important matter that had to be discussed immediately and that I have ignored all previous attempts of communication.  How can I ignore communication when it doesn't happen?  I don't believe anything this company / person says.  BEWARE!!!!!
