I paid a debt to Regent and now I am getting another letter in the mail from another debt collection agency for the same debt!!!!!!  I can't seem to find a phone number for Regent anywhere that works!!!!  HELP!!!

THAT'S what all the Ron Kennedy calls are?  Jeez; they aren't even looking for me... The "courtesy" call about the "possible claim" was for some guy I've never heard of.

quit calling. I have even returned the call and asked who you were trying to get ahold of and it was not me. quit calling quit calling quit calling. Don't know how else to put it. I don't want to leave my phone number in case others get the idea to start calling. so he doesn't have a clue from this message which number he is calling so he can stop calling. He doesn't address the call as to who he is calling or nothing. VERY irritating that every time I turn on my cell phone a message from him is on my phone.

i got a letter saying i have a claim that has been filed through our office,the letter said that a law suite will be filed.That i will be taken to court.The number was this 877-591-3703.What can i do about this i do not want money coming out of my paycheck for this.

Same as above.  Run-on sentence, "It is imperative that we contact [name].  This call is placed as a courtesy and is in reference to a possible claim that has been filed through our office and we need to contact [name] as soon as possible to prevent any further action in reference to this matter.  Our number is 877 591 3703."  So I called back anonymously.  This is Regent Asset Management, a collection agency that has been hounding me about a U.S. Bank account I closed about 6 years ago (they charged a bunch of fees to my account which I disputed, and I subsequently closed the account).  Regent also uses another number (877-591-0433) with a lame message that you must call "Ron Kennedy" during specified hours to discuss a file that's been referred to his office.

I just got the same thing a few minutes ago. Automated message, no details except for "a claim that has been referred". Looked the number up on here right away.

Automated message using my name. the system did not identify a specif company, only stated that the matter was concerning a "possible claim against me"
