I want the AT&T automated customer feedback survey people to stop calling me.  They have called 9 times today.  888-211-7690 is the number that has been showing up on the caller id.

So far today I have received four calls from these people.  They never leave a message.  They are just annoying.  If I am important enough to call, then I should be important enough to leave a message!!!

We just had AT&T set up our landlines and internet service, as well as bundling in DirecTV, and we're so happy with the service and the products that I tried calling them back to take part in the survey, but the recording said it was  too late.   Their loss, I guess.

I've received 4-5 calls from this number since I had an AT&T U-Verse technician here to fix a TV problem two days ago. Like another person who commented below, if I had known that it was AT&T, I would have answered the phone. But, when I see an ID that reads "TOLL FREE CALL," of course I'm going to assume that it's SPAM and ignore the call. No message is left, which I suppose is because it's an automated call, not a "live" call from a "real" person. I called back twice, and it IS the number for AT&T's Customer Satisfaction Survey line, but for some reason, "it" didn't recognize my phone number, so I was unable to complete the survey. Too bad AT&T most likely doesn't see these message. It would be helpful for the company to see what customers think about their practices.

was not home when this no. called and the lengthy message was ALL IN SPANISH.  Since I do not speak the language, I tried calling back and got nothing but SPANISH.  I proceeded to call the att customer service and was told "this is not one of our numbers"...called back again and was told "there is no way we can trace this number".  ARE THEY A TELEPHONE COMPANY OR WHAT....and to make matters worse the people on the other side could not speak very good english.  Thank you google for having this info on line or I would never know who called ATT CUSTOMER

If it is a legitimate call from a legitimate company, why do they conceal their name ? I do not answer anonymous calls.

Called several times.  Caller ID was "Toll Free Call".
I didn't answer.

Oooops... If they had ID'd ATT I would have picked the call up.
I am having severe problems with their billing since switching to U-Verse.

Maybe they knew I would have given them a piece of my mind.

Had I known this was AT&T I would've p/u the phone, it just said "toll free number" well I realize it was a toll free number but I pay extra for privacy manager to show the names too. Guess Privacy mgr doesn't work the same as it used to. It used to show names AND phone numbers, now it's just one or the other. Not as good as it used to be but the cust. svc people are generally helpful w/exception of one I had to deal with.

Its an AT&T customer survey.  If you called for a service or to resolve an issue, this system will check your satisfaction. Its a Quality assurance call. They asked only 4 or 5 questions and it took 2 minutes. I gladly participated. They just want to make sure you received good service, something important for all companies that provide service.

This number has been calling since 8:01 this morning.  5 calls so far today and I already took their stupid survey.  I've been debating about switching to Vonage and these persistent automated calls sealed the deal.  Maybe if AT&T actually cared about their customers they wouldn't feel the need to hide behind generic caller ID that just says Toll Free Call or call back time and time again.  Good riddance AT&T!

HAD AT&T HERE YESTERDAY FOR A DSL SERVICE CALL.  APPARENTLY, THIS CALL IS LEGITIMATE AND FROM AT&T.  I DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN OR OUT OF AREA CALLS.
CALL ID SEZ  "TOLL FREE CALL."
IF AT&T WANTS TO SPEAK TO ME, THEY CAN HAVE THE CALLER ID SHOW AS "AT&T"...NOT  "TOLL FREE CALL."

Totally agree. I got great service, and would have given a great review, but ATT is not identified. I don't usually pick up junk calls.

So if ATT doesn't want to be treated as junk, then start using ATT.

I had the same problem as you did. However this has gone on for 3 weeks, with calls 2-3 times a day, even on Sundays. I finally got caller ID on my phone yesterday and received 3 more calls from AT&T, with no one on the line. I called AT&T to report this and was told by the customer service rep that she can assure me that all those calls were not from AT&T. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told that they didn't have a supervisor. I have tried to find a address for their main office, and couldn't find anything on their web site.  I contacted the Better Business Bureau, to see if they could help.  I will let you know if I get any results.

I have had the same problem, but mine has been for the last 3 weeks. I finally got caller ID, only to find out it was AT&T. I talked to a custer service rep and she said she can assure me they weren't all from AT&T. I now have contacted Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. If I get any results, I will let you know

I have received phone calls from the above number 2-3 times a day. I just got caller ID so I could track the number, which is above. I called customer service and was told that they can assure me that all those calls were not from AT&T. All calls came through with no one talking. This is a very annoying situation. The day that I contacted them, I received 3 calls from AT&T, regarding customer satisfaction. Tried to find AT&T main address, so that I could report this, without any luck. AT&T does not care about the customer or how they treat them.  It would be easy for them to put a caller ID such as "AT&T" or "AT&T Survey" but why logical and helpful.  
AT&T gets you to obtain their service and then raises the rates.  In these hard economic times you know by doing that this company does not care.

WE GET NUMEROUS CALLS FROM 702 966 0606 WITH CALLER ID UNKNOWN.  IF WE ANSWER NO ONE IS THERE AND THEY CALL BACK...ALL HOURS ...SOMEONE SHOULD DISCONNECT THEIR PHONE BANK...THEN PROSECUTE THEM FOR DISTURBING THE PEACE!!!

That said, I've had no problems with AT&T billing; the bill is always accurate, and my automatic payment always goes through. Have had a few problems with AT&T U-Verse TV plan, but AT&T always sends a technician the next day, and I've gotten a couple of upgrades at no cost.

This is actually an AT&T feedback survey.  I get it each time I call into ATT for a phone question.  It is slightly annoying, but not telemarketing call.  It will continue however until you get it & tell them no or do it.

I've also received two of these calls this morning - hangs up when answering machine answers.  I had AT&T out yesterday to repair my landline phone, so based on that and what others here are saying, it is probably AT&T.

Here are my questions for AT&T:

1.  Why does your CID say "Toll Free Call" instead of "AT&T"?  If it said AT&T, I'd answer and take your survey (I got great service on my analog phone line repair).

2.  Why not leave a message?  I'd call back and take the survey.

Obviously, when this call comes in the way it does, it looks like the typical telemarketer slime.  

Looks like AT&T has great technicians, but poo heads in the business office who came up with this format of survey call.

I've been getting this call all day - finally answered.  It's the AT&T Automated Customer Feedback system.  It's an automated survey related to recent customer service calls.  I was able to opt out of the survey, and hoping it won't call back.
