I have been getting calls from this number every week for the past three weeks.

It's a call from NationStar Mortgage

Well that answers that! I've been called by them twice, no message. My mortgage was recently transferred to these folks and I was already thinking about refinancing so that I can choose my mortgage company.

I don't know myself but, I have been getting calls from this number every day for the past week.

Wanted to know who owns this number.

1)   you are not obligated to talk to anyone on unknown phone numbers   2)  if it's important enough your unknown caller should leave a message    3)  if caller is rude or pushy just say "hang on a minute", put the phone down, and later, hang up when you the dial tone.   TIME is the most valuable asset to sales folks so the longer you keep them on line the more likely you will be removed from the call list.   It works for me !!

I was getting the same calls so I looked it up, when I saw it was supposed to be this nation star I knew it was fake.  They are not nation star. in fact I called nation star and they had never heard of us or had my number in their system. Don't give them any info its a scam

They call all the time and I pick up and no answer. If it is Nation Star their system already sucks
Plus I had Suntrust Mtg and I could pay only with no extra fees, now Nation Star charge $6.95 online fee using western union for the Dec payment and all the ones to come.

Yes SunTrust turned over many mortgage loans to them.  However, you are still getting calls from Sun Trust saying your payment is late...yet the letter said to send the December payment to the new company..

Yep, it's Nation Star ... Suntrust must be bailing out on a lot of mortgages.

you'd think so but go google Nationstar and read one of the many sites full of bad things about this company.. we've been with them for less than a month and im already looking to refinance just to get away from them..

Been getting calls from this number every morning for two weeks, I dont have a mortgage that could be transfered so it doesnt sound right that it is what it is.... even if Nation Star co. may be ligit doesnt mean its actually them calling, it might be a phisher using their name , if you want to verify, go to the Nation Star site and use their 800 number to verify they have anything to do with you.... also a Company like this wouldnt call you they would mail you their info and forms.

I received a call from this number just a few moments ago. They hung up when I answered. What kind of mortgage company calls at 20:55?!

NationStar is legitimate.  If you had a mortgage with CitiMortgage it has been transferred to NationStar.  You should have received a letter from CitiMortgage about a month ago stating this.  My issue with this is that Citimortgage assured everyone that the transition would be seamless and it apparently is anything but.

Same story here.  Said they were NationStar Mortgage and had just assumed my mortgage, but didn't identify who the previous mortgage holder was.  I told them it was late and wasn't prepared to speak to them.  They said "Good Afternoon" and it was 20:30, so I'm assuming they're incompetent or not legitimate.

I received this call and finally answered out of curiosity on the third day.  It was from NationStar Mortgage who had just taken over a loan I had with a different bank.  They wanted to verify my address and answer any questions I may have about the loan transfer.  I took down the customer service number for NationStar Mortgage and did not give my address or personal information to the caller.  The customer number they gave me was the correct number and so I think they were legitamate.  Don't know why they never left a message the first two times they called!

I too have been getting a call from this number!  getting sick of it!  how do i block this number

Have received about 6 calls in the last week, one each morning between 8 and 8:30 a.m. CST. Very annoying and they leave no message. I have blocked this number from my phone.

no idea????????????? was put on hold all circuits busy????????? obviously a scam tele marketing agency
