I received a couple of calls from someone stating the same thing as everyone else has stated here, the number that i receive the call from is 877-418-8784 Legal caring Services, but they never say who this summons is for.  

Have you heard any more from these people?

Have also gotten several phone calls from 855-841-8419 or 312-924-7939 staring I owed money on a paid GE money account and had a private VM stating the were also going to summons me to court. The refused to send me verification documents and GE is stating it is a paid account. The scam artist is name is Turner Stevens and have also talked with a Charles at JMK Associates! Filled a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection and BBB claims they are not a legimate company. I'd like them to summons me as I'll there is nothing to pursue.

Just Google FTC.gov & follow your nose. It's easy. Won't take a couple of minutes. You'll also want to complain to the CFPB & your Attorney Generals office.

How do you report them to the FTC?

I got the same message from Charles clay of legal caring services saying the same thing, they are coming to serve me papers in 24 to 48 hrs. I hope someone has the balls to come here because I will be doing all the serving.

Call from 877-448-5584 recorded message from Steve saying he was going to serve a summons in 24-48 hours and to call the number for any questions. He did not say who he was calling or what name was on the "summons". He did not say who he worked for and that the call was an attempt to collect a debt  Upon calling the number, first Stacey(?spelling) Williams said it was Legal Outsourcing and they were in Rochester, NY. Called back and Chris Copeland said it was BSI, a law firm in Rochester, NY. Last time, I was transferred to Daniel Benson who said I was calling BSI and Associates in Rochester, NY, but he refused to give a physical address. I can't find any info on the supposed names of the company names provided by the individuals, can't find any info on the supposed names of the individuals I spoke with, and there is no info on the phone number provided.

I just received a call as well. I am so glad I found this post. It seemed kinda shady to give me advance notice about a summons. Also, the number that showed up on my caller id was 10000000000. Yeah, that's really going to inspire me to believe that you're legitimate.

When bill collectors serve you with a judgement it has to be filed with a court they must come to your home and the documents can only be served to you.  Honestly most of us just send them in the mail return reciept in a sealed envelope. you cannot go to jail for old pay day loans! or anyother ligitimate debt if you were going to go to jail it would be a sherrif that would be bringing you the summons not a bill collector from out of your state.....Breathe deep and dont forget to report them to the FTC.

If this number calls you please report them right away. They are scam artists they are trying to collect on debts that do not exhist.  If they call your loved ones and friends tell them it is a scam and to never give them any information about you or themselves. A ligitimate debt collector cannot talk to anyone about your obligations.  i am a reponsible debt collector and these guys give us a bad name block their # if you need to but you are better off to just not answer the calls. If they call your employer you can let them know it is a scam and that they should not give any personal information about you to anyone unless approved by you.  The only way we will stop them is to report them!

This number calls, threatening voice says that he will come within 24-48 hours with summons, and demands that you have available 2 forms of id.  gives  the # 1-855-851-8425 to call back. tHIS NUMBER DOES NOT ACCEPT CALLS.  MISERABLE, ANNOYING PIECES OF S***.

Called the number this person says they represent, and I was told they are JMK & Associates.  I played stupid, and called from another number, and they gave me information.  I pretended to be an elderly woman looking for a woman named Virginia that I met at a mall over the weekend.  The young man told me I have the wrong number, and that they are a collection company called JMK & Associates and I have the wrong number.  The voice mail they are leaving is illegal.  I have no idea what they are leaving it, but I am not giving them any information.

Please report these people it is a scam and never ever give them a dime or verify your information.

I received a voice message that I still have on my cell that states, " Hi am Johnath Stewart of Legal Caring Services I have a summon in hand and I am schedule to go out to your house or work within the next 24 to 48 hours. You are to make yourself available with two forms of ID. If you are at work you will need a manager or security guard to sign as a wittness. If I have any questions I can call 855-393-379 and the last number was cut off.  

I did not return the call and have no idea what this is about but it does scare them with me being in bad health and living alone that someone can locate me through my phone number. Other than putting the Police Dept on notice what can be done to these nasty people leaving these kinds of messages.

I know that all summons for court hearing in my county are delivered by the Police Dept. They do not allow Processor's Services to be used in this county. I am going to report this to our Police Dept.

My young daughter rec eived a call from this number. A recording said for her to expect a person to come to either her home or place of business within 24-48hrs to serve her with court papers in reference to her having commited check fraud and for her to have available to forms of ID. Well first of all, she doesnt possess any checks! Also the call back number left (as you would expect) did not receive calls. Total identity scam................

I have received several calls from these people. Please DO NOT give them any money nor any information. How do I make these people stop calling me?

I have a Cricket Number- they recycle thier phone numbers. Have been recieving thier calls for a month now for the woman who previously has this Number. Have received other debt collection calls for same woman. I actually called the number listed back, and explained that this WAS NOT the phone number for this woamn anymore. The guy who answered was actually very nice and said he would make sure I got no more phone calls. We shall see. Just my experience with these people. I can see from the above postings there have been different ones.

I've received several calls from this number threatening me with court appearance and they leave a different number to call back to (8553933793) which is tied to a fake debt collection agency. I think this scam is aimed to make people think they are in some legal trouble and wire some money to the fake agency. Not too bad of a setup, it might work on some people who actually are running from debt.

Same as previous reviewers. I believe they represent United Mar, a debt collection agency with an -F rating with the BBB. Asked them in a previous call, which I should have never answered, to provide me with written documentation and they said they had don so numerous times to my "old" address. This company is very threatening and now this type of call trying to scare me into calling them or they would show up at my work or home and embarrass me in front of family and co-workers. To my knowledge, a process server never calls before they attempt to serve you.

Please be very careful of any information you give these people. They are a TOTAL SCAM!

This caller, Johnthan Steward (if that's a real person), from Brown Brewer and Associates (if that's a real company) used to call and leave threatening vm's saying that he will be serving court papers to my place of work or residence within the next 24-48 hours (since October!).

The call used to be made from 855-851-8424.  I put that on the block list and now it's calling me from 877-605-6332 with the exact same messages.

CREEP, SLIME, LOWLIFE TURD, that is who is calling.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

Man at this # keeps leaving msgs on my VM, as well as my friends VM, saying that he will be serving me in the next 24-48 hours at my home or workplace. Says I should have two forms of ID ready for him or have a supervisor/security officer sign off if served at work. He then provides the # 1-855-851-8425 to call back as the company who is suing me. The # is to Brown, Brewer and Assoc. A debt collection firm for payday loans. That company continues to call friends and relatives relaying personal information to them and telling them that I have an oustanding loan or I have committed check fraud. They will not verify any debts and break numerous FTC laws. I have reported both #'s to my State Atty General's office, and have filed a complaint with the FTC. I encourage you to do the same.
