Saw a charge on my credit union checking a/c . Called on the number provided on the a/c .
Was hung up couple of times and third time somebody picked up . I was told it was through DCU and insurance coverage was activated in 2010 and i dont remember if i ever did it. But i was charged 22 dollars in June 2014 . And when i asked the reason why, CSR started to read the policy . I immediatly asked to stop this and asked to send me the copy of it . Let see if they ever send it . Absolutely pissed off.
Received two notices- back to back for insurance through my Credit Union. Since it was a loan account the "free" insurance did not go through,but I received 2 $25.00 charges from the Credit Union. BEWARE
Same story as the others, did not even sign a agreement. do not understand how they got to dedut a A.C.H account, i don't even know who the insurance is.

I received a debit card statement with the same sort of reference that Grace did - but they charged me $74.25
I never signed up for this - it totally a scam. I'm taking it up with my bank.

Hey guys, I did sign up for the free $1000 as did my son and daughter thru Tinker Federal and no problem never been charged for the free stuff. I am an old fart from the Vietnam time and I worry about my wife, I did extend the accidental coverage to 10 or 15k just incase. this is the cheapest insurance around. I know its for accidents and what is the odds? People here die of deseas a few accidents. (tractors, nail guns, cars, roofs etc) and I am prone to that so what the hell. I talked to the main office about when to take out money on my ssi time so nothing would bounce. 15$ isn't bad every qtr. I think you guys f****d up. Maybe your wives did it, mom and dad, friend. what you need to do is check who was named your benifishery. If you really didn't do it, that's you culprit. Ask to see the original form, have a copy sent to you
Yep, $16.50 a month is being charge. Don't remember signing up for it. Now lets see how long it takes to get rid of it!

WHAT A BS!! I got charged $49.50 and I don't remember signing anything. This company is ridiculous! And they will put you on hold for 15 minutes before anyone can talk to you.

what is the physical address and name of this company? I thought it said Minnesota Life...but when I called they didnt say the name in the voicemail that tells you the wait time is 30 minutes.
I saw that I had a charge of $16.50 with this description: AD&D 877-607-4376 Ins Prem. When I called to find out what this was, I was on hold for ten or 15 minutes, then when they said they were a company that works between the insurance company and financial institutions, but wouldn't give me the name, I decided I wasn't going to give my personal information they were asking for. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for so long I finally hung up.
When I first called my credit union they said at first that I was going to have to cancel the account and reconnect all my auto-pays because they thought it was a fraudulent charge. Because of these web postings, I knew enough to ask about my life insurance coverage. When they looked into it they found A&D is indeed the organization they work through. They said the only way to cancel was to call them directly.
I was on hold for almost an hour, then the guy tried to talk me into keeping it. I learned that I've been getting charged $16.50 from this company quarterly for three years! I thought it was free and obviously haven't been looking at my bank statement regularly enough.
I haven't been so pissed in awhile! Thank you for making this all public - I really appreciate it as it saved me a HUGE amount of hassle.

I found this deduction for $135 looking at my online account today. I phoned them 4 times only to be hung up on each time. I phoned by bank Linn Co Federal Credit Union and they told me that is all Im required to to is attempt to call them and to come into my branch and do an ACH stop which costs $10 but it will stop them forever. I will also look at disputing the charge when I go in. Not happy!

NECHES FEDERAL CREDIT UNION MEMBERS: BEWARE of their insurance company that offers FREE life insurance....It is NOT FREE.....you will be charged and charged and charged. Then TRY to cancel the "FREE" policy. Forget it, you will be charged and when you call 877-607-4367 you will be NOT be able to cancel the policy because they put you on HOLD and then the phone clicks off. Good luck if you are able to cancel, then please post so I can cancel my FREE policy that continues to cost me and my family money.

This is an Insurance Company that gets offered through a Credit Union which you are suppose to be able to sign up for "free" $1000.00 coverage. Well that "free" coverage was what bounced my account today.... according to "Manny" I had marked the maximum coverage so they charged my account. My suggestion is DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! The form stated that if I just wanted the "free" coverage do not mark anything so that is what I did not mark anything myself but apparently that just gives someone the opportunity to pick for you. After terminating this coverage I was told that after December 10, 2012 it will take 10 to 15 business days for them to fix this and to send me a copy of the form showing me where I picked the maximum coverage. They cannot reverse charges, fax or email forms it all has to come snail mail. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
