After 2 weeks of them calling with different numbers, they finally left a message on my recorder. I called them back, they asked for ssi, I just put any four numbers and a real person came on. She was very nice and gave me her id#. After talking with her, they had the wrong number and was taking our number off their list with an apology. It's about time someone on the other end was nice. lol lol lol

That's funny, you're right, it is Citibank and they really don't know their loans are behind!!! C'mon.

I get several calls a day claiming the student loan for which I am a co-signer, is past due. The signer on the loan has kept payments up to date. They wanted my soc sec # up front when I called them. BIG red flag for a scam.

it's a SCAM!!. as we are the cosigners for my childs collage loan we never signed a contract for a student loan with this conpany. When they called to say that the account was not payed for two months and the amount owed was only 224.95 and we could pay for the next month now, I't just seemed to real to be true. Once the student graduates all the loans are consolidated into one. (our is 50Kish) IT'S REALLY IS A SCAM!!

I get at least 2 phone calls a day from them. I have told them I am not Christopher ________, I dont know Christopher ___________. I have limited minutes on my phone so please stop calling my number. They DON'T listen. I finally have to hang up on them. The number they called from was 605-731-3806 and after 2 weeks of this when I stopped answering any calls from that number, they left a message to call 877-611-0012. I called them to take MY number off Christopher __________'s account and the woman who answered said she would see what she could do???????????

Got a call from Susan at Citibank claiming a loan I cosigned was about to be outstanding. She said, I believe, the loan was going to be outstanding in two days, and she was calling me to see if I would make a payment.

Says there Citibank Student Loans and its not a sales call. Could be Citibank but I am not giving my social security number to someone one the other end of the line when I don't even have a loan with Citibank Student Loans.

My student loan account with CitiBank has doubled. The customer service rep says its a glitch in their system. I responded with "that a big glitch to have"....she assured me that it would be taken off but that I could call their technical support...WTF! Why do I have to call them...anyway, if you can avoid CitiBank, do so...they are the worst to deal with...I made payments on time for over two years before losing my job and afterwards the only thing that they could extend me was a 6 month forbearance and after that 6 months they called me on average 10 times a day. Even now that I've found a job and am bringing my account to the current payment, they are still calling me at least 5 times a day. They disregard the scheduled payment that I set up. Run far away from CitiBank if you need a loan of any sort from them...you're better off making out another route!

They call me twice a day. I do have a Citibank loan that I have already taken care of, but this is very annoying. Bad customer service.

I called a customer service number for Citibank Student Loans to double-check the 877-611-0012 number, and make sure that it was not a scam. They said that the number was the number of thier collections service.

They have been calling 5x/day saying they are from citibank, but I couldn't find their phone number on the citibank website. And I couldn't talk to anyone without leaving my SSN. I think it might be a scam.
