I got a call about three weeks ago from a different number. It was 1-876-574-1707 and the mans name was Andre Wright. He called to let me know that I was the winner of a jack pot lottery of 5 MIL. All I had to do was send him $550 to clear the taxes on it. I know it us a scam. I told him that I did not have the money to send him. He said he will speak to his supervisor to see what he can do to get the money for the taxes waived. They both called me on two way to talk to me and try to talk me in to getting the money for them. The other guy name was David something for the lottery & sweepsteaks in CA. The both tried to get me th wire them the money by 5:00 before the limo pulls up to my house with the winnings. FUNNY these people are. I search them on the web and all returns were of fraud and scam. I let the know what I found they and they get upset and stated to get disrespectful and rude. I hung up the phone on the. Last week got another call from a different guy with the same story. And got one today. These are scams. DO NOT SEND THE ANYTHING!!! I will call my phone provider and get the number block. I hope this helps someone. Thanks

Called at 12:52 pm on 9/28/10.   Didn't leave a message on my answering machine.   Caller ID showed "not provided."   It's Wachovia where I have an account so the DNC don't apply.    My call management device, however does apply and blocks them from ringing through.

I forgot to add that when the female asked for "Andre Wright" she giggled (which I thought was VERY strange)

Been receiving these calls 2 to 3 times per day for a couple of weeks now.  I left all the calls go to voice mail but one day I got fed up with them not leaving any messages and I answered.  Of course no one was on the line, so I waited and finally a female picked up and asked for "Andre Wright".  I told her there was no "Andre Wright" at this number and she hung up on me!!  Haven't received another call from that number since.  BTW~~there REALLY isn't anyone here by that name!!

They call me CONSTANTLY...yes, I have a Wachovia account, never had a problem with it or overdrafts, and this number calls me sometimes three times a day every day of the week...it's a disgrace...As I never use my landline anymore, and never give out the number unless it's for something that might generate calls like these...I never pick up...but when I look at my caller ID their number comes up again and again and again....

Got a call from this number yesterday.  said they were from Wachovia, and trying to sell some kind of insurance.  when they asked for my address, I told them I wasn't interested and hung up.  I also reported this on Callferret.  I plan to call Wachovia to report it as well.

Kim and everyone receiving this phone call --  these people are a problem and a hassle, please check out the "messages" they post @ # 800-572-5848.  Unbelievably nasty and vile, sometimes considered downright threatening.  Don't pick up the phone for this so-called insurance and complain to Wachovia/Wells Fargo at the number that you would normally contact them to complain about this, NOT any #'s provided by these so-called associates.  If you haven't already, request to be put on Wachovia/Wells own internal DNC list as well.  Best of luck to you guys and have a great weekend.

I got a call from this number.  Guy said he was Jerry from Wells Fargo, calling to talk to my husband about his Wachovia bank account.  He wouldn't talk to me, but he gave me a phone number to call if I had any questions:  800-572-5848.  When I called the number, a person answered but acted as if they were a recorded message, saying their system was down and to please call back later today or tomorrow.  When I didn't hang up, the guy said "Hello?".  He spoke to me and said I needed to call back.  I told him why I was calling, that I thought I was being scammed, and asked to speak to a supervisor.  He put me on hold and came back and told me all the supervisors were in a meeting and I should call back later.  I called my Wachovia branch and reported the scam.  Supposedly, they are going to check it out and call me back to let me know if it was a legitmate call.  We'll see.

This is Wells Fargo calling people who have Wachovia accounts and they want to offer you a new promotion of some kind.  I do not even have an account with Wachovia.

They have been calling for days now.
How can this number be reported and to whom?
I have already registered my number on the national "do not call" list!

I keep receiving calls from this number and when I answer no one responds.  Also, if i let it go to voice mail no one leave a message.  These calls are unwanted. No company name shows on the caller ID, but the number appears as 877-615-0282.

These clowns have called at least 5 times since yesterday, we won't answer, and they don't leave a msg.  What a way to run a business!

I have received numerous annoying calls from this telephone number. Never leaving a message. I attempted returning the call and the line is always busy.

Rec'd one(1) call with no one at the other end.

I hit redial and a girl answered, she said, she didn't call me, that someone is useing her no. The call had to be dialed from her home , because she answered.and for a ph. no. to show up on a caller ID, it must be dialed from with-in that home.She said, it's a scam to get money.
