someone just called me today by that name on my cell phone! But before that, they called my house and my job. I was very upset and wanted to tell them off. I and my husband are going to call our atterney for harrassment.He also had a heavy accent, middle Eastern.

I got a call from this number too.  The guy had a foreign accent and told me he was Officer Butler and legal action was being taken against me.  He had my ss # as well.  I asked him for his badge number and what his companies name was.  He refused this information and kept calling and left a nasty message on my voice mail.  I have a friend who is an officer and she said unfortnately it's a 800 number so they can not trace it and do anything regarding it.  I have put a fraud alert on my banking account and with the credit bureau!  When I called the number back they he gave me they refused to give me the name of the company until I gave my name.  Which I did not do!

Got a call from someone showing as Unknown, they claimed this was their number, he was very rude, and said that he was calling about Legal Allegations against me for some unknown reason, not sure what state he was from because it was so noisy in the background. He eventually hungup on me, and when I called the 877 number there was nothing there.

And I could only pay by using my credit card or debit card. If you are a real debt collector the following are highly illegal: Calling a person at work when they have asked you to stop. Talking to anyone other then the debtor and or their attorney. Threatning you with criminal punishment. Debt is a civil matter you moron! Not a criminal matter! It is also illegal to falsely claim to be a law enforcement person! How do you sleep at night? Lying and scamming people! I hope you don't sleep well. I have reported you to the BBB, the state Attorney General, the local police, the state Hgwy patrol, the FBI, and the Dpt of Finance. They have reported "scams" by you, Raymond Scott, etc. . . and they are investigating. You will not only not receive any blessings from this type of lying and illegal activity but you will also pay heavy someday! I hope everyone reads this and reports all of your activities to the proper authorities. Don't pay them!

I got a call from this no last Friday. The person with the name Justin Weaver with the heavy Asian ascent told me that i am in a big trouble and i have to pay $531 to get out of this trouble and they are asking me about the card details for the payment. For sure they are not true as they are scammers. I going to report them into F.B.I and county police department.
Be aware of them and don't give any card details i am victim of this scam last month.

You do not have to give out any information to these people. They all use an alias (Because they are to scared to give their real names. They know they will get their a**es kicked otherwise). These people are trying to scare you. Turn the tables. Try to get them to give you their personal name and the name of their company. Try to get them to give you their home phone number so you can verify who they are. Tell them  you will meet them in person to discuss this debt they are harassing you about. Tell them you don't give out any information to someone who has to lie about their name. Bottom line, tell them you enjoy the phone calls and tell them to keep calling. These perople impersonate law enforcement officers, law firms, etc. They think that you will actually believe that the heavily accented Indian accent belongs to some guy named Shawn Miller. WHAT A JOKE! These people CANNOT DO ANYTHING to you. I guarantee they will hang up on you once you start asking them for THEIR personal information. So lets ALL HAVE FUN with this, at their expense. Don't give out any information, banking info, money, nothing.........don't give them a thing. Pass this information on.

I'm working hard to find out where these people work from. Once I find out, I will let everyone know so that we can pay them a visit. Each of them uses an alias because they are afraid to use their real names. They all like to hide behind the phone and make harassing calls which break every fair debt collection law there is. I'm good at finding people. I can't wait until I have the chance to meet these clowns in person. They won't be able to make many harassing phone calls after that............won't they be surprised.

P.S. to note above. These people also like to call themselves Officer Such-And-Such. They seem to think that having the title "Officer" will make people take notice. I ask them what they are an officer of, and they can't tell you anything. They are not officers of the law, although they try and make people think they are.

Perhaps they are officers of the latrine or something comparable. Anyway, they are a joke and I would love to meet them one-on-one.

Shawn Miller has also been harassing me at work. I came to work today and found a note on my desk from last week with Shawn Millers name, phone number and the note also stated - Check Fraud. Now I know that these people have broken numerous laws regarding debt collection.
1- Calling 3rd parties such as family, friends, employers, employees and neighbors is strictly prohibited when collectors already have your phone number!
2- The debt collector may just be liable to you for statutory damages of up to $1,000, plus any actual damages suffered, plus attorney fees!
3- When collectors demand payments under the threat of legal action they may be violating the FDCPA.

I was gone and in less then a hour they called my manager 276 times telling him they were coming to get me. It got so bad my boss had to call the police. I contacted my local law enforcement which told me it was a scam, the officer called them and they hung up on him and so far have not called me back. I was so scared and freaked out that I was really going to get arrested if I did not pay them $5,000.00 that night. Then I read all these comments and it calmed me down. Has anyone ever heard any more from them after they have called ? They even went as far as telling me I would have to go to court and my manager at my work would have to go with me. They said they would make it so I lost my job. What kind of business is this and how is this legal??? Please help if you know anymore info on this company! Thank you

This number was calling my place of employment making threats to co-workers and whoever answered the phone.  They stated that they had legal allegations against me and threatened to call incessantly until they got financial information from Human Resources.  Sounds very threatening and illegal.

I called them today and told them do not call my work number anymore and to go ahead a sue me for 3000 some dollars. Over a supposed loan through US Cash Advance I spoke to the supposed supervisor twice today Raymond Scott and told him to take the work number off the list he refused until I took care of the matter, he reluctantly gave me a physical address which I beleive to be bogus because when I did a reverse search on it it states it cannot be found.

I told Rodney Scott that what he is doing is illegal and he told me that I thought I could do whatever I wanted, so I finally told him to sue me and I'd slap a harrassment suit against him.

This same thing happened to me the guy claimed... on Friday night @ 6:00 pm that I only had until 6:00 am on Sunday morning to pay him 500.00 by credit, debit, or western union, or they were sending the case to prosecutors, and would cost up to 10,000.00 including possible jail time for credit fraud . . . he couldn't give me an address, said he would, but didn't, and further he hung up on my the more and more questions I asked.  I knew it was a fraudulent call, and then looked it up only to confirm my suspiscions. (oh, and the heavy accent with the name Daniel Stein...

Left a message on my phone to call them back. Said that I owed for a U.S Bank cash advance. He was a foreigner and he hung up on me 5 times. I had my Mom call him . She tried to get his name and Company and after he yelled, Who is this , he hung up on her. She than proceeded to call back and the guy wanted to know who she was. She said she was returning their phone call. He wanted her telephone number and she told them she just gave them her name. he said I have thousands of names i need your number than hung up on her.

Yes this is exacty what has happened to me today first on my cell then then at work.  Very rude information left would not give information aother than a legal matter and wanted to have attonry call them to settle matter.  I don't even know what is going on.  When the number they left on my cell phone was called back I got a message that this call would be recorded and then someone answered legal department.  But still would not give information as to who they where just that I was in very deep legal trouble.  Any information would be helpful.  Or I will assume this is a scam.

Thank god my employer has caller id. We just don't answer the calls anymore but what I did was answer my cell phone and take a big metal pot and metal spoon and bang it as hard as I could into the phone hopefully blowing the guys eardrums out.  Seemed to work cuz they stopped calling.

I have been getting these same harrassing calls at work on and off for months now!!! Im ready to put a stop to this!! Has anyone gotten them to stop making these calls, or reported them to someone who actually took some action against them? I have files multiple police reports and they have told me theres nothing they can do. I also filled out a complaint form with the FBI and have heard nothing in response. If the authorities arent going to do anything about this, then I am! Im not going to deal with these rude people calling my place of employment ANYMORE! Please reply if u have any clue as to how to stop these calls!
