OMG, I received a call left for possibly a brother of an ex-wife of a brother....holy cow......I called the number from work, 855-268-3314, they said it was the SS Group, something to do with legal representation........they also stated that a formal complaint had been filed against this person, left a case number, glad I found this info on here, so I'll just delete the message.  They really need to find something to do with themselves.......

I got a call from the "SS Group" also.  The only thing different was, they called from this number 1-855-259-2462.  It seems like they are using different numbers to contact people.  Something should be done about this.  The guy's name was Robert James.  Who do we have to contact about this and how long will they keep operating under these circumstances.  This is ridiculous.

This was very helpful! The exact thing happened to me asking for my brother! My brother is actually on probation, his wife called the number back and a lady answered and then hung up on my sister in law! So I found tht fishy and had to google it, sure enough everyone hit the voice message on point! I warned my brother and his wife, my mom had seen a new special on scams like these jus last month! If you fall for it and give them any information they will show up at your house to scare you!

Received call from SS Group saying they were going to come arrest my husband.  Called back and it was Alliance.  Called my lawyer and he said these are scam artists that get money from people by using scare tactics.  They buy your information from obscure web sites.  Really nice people...NOT.  They should still perform public hangings!!

Hey.. these pplcalled me & they called my grandmother .. how they got her # I have no idea.. but its crazy && I have no idea how they got my grandmothers # I have never used her # for  any type of reference OR ANYTHING. N.they have scared the living s*** out of me I have a son to take care of & this isn't cool... anybody know if this is a legit thing or is it a scam.. but a professional scam meaning these ppl know what there doing.. as far as being legit n being a scam artist ... what can I do I'm really terrified ..:-/

being harrased by some one by the name of terry brown from some company by the name of ss group.  calling relatives and job.  threatening to come out and all sorts of things.  what can be done about this?

Received a call today from a Brandon Green who left a message that didn't make sense about there are several claims in court against me and that I have been notified. He left no company name and no information. He did not leave the legal information. He threatened that they will come to your home or office and that you have been notified. When I tried calling the company back to find out who this is, it's a company called SS Group who appears to buy debt possibly from payday lenders. I had this same company try to take me to court by improperly serving papers and then operating illegally. It appears they don't even have the right to do business or transact loans in the state of CA. How they get your information and can continue to call you when you paid them already amazes me. They are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices act. Because they will not give company information and be honest, it is hard to track them. They may also be associated with the Alliance Group. When I went to court regarding 1000cashovernight.com and Wrightway Group and L&M Financial, these entities were all operating illegally and they do not have the right to do business, nor do they have a valid license, nor can they take action against anyone as they are not recognized as a legal entity. If more people would speak out and file formal complaints maybe something more could be done. There is a formal complaint about them with the California State Dept of Corporations. If you search the company name and the Dept of Corporations you can find out more. In speaking with someone there, they stated that many residents in California had problems but they need to file complaints in order for action to be taken against them particularly if they are being harassed.

received call , left crazy message, returned call to the call back # and they want to ask you all this information , name social security # and  I guess you are suppose to be stupid and do that,  Hey you called me..... what do you want?

who and the f----  is Alliance.  why do the caller have to call and make threats , just mail out the legal information and be done with it.  I got a call on my desk phone and cell phone .  I dont know who these people are and I could care less about the threats.

I received a call from this number and it sounded like a black lady who said I have multiple charges and would come to my home and job. They called my best friend looking for me with the same threats! Who are these people?

Yea I got the same bs call from a Brandon Green saying I had to be in court. These scam artists are a joke and the callers can hardly even speak english.

I got the same message from these scam artists. A Brandon Green called me saying I was due in court and gave me the case number to settle with the plantiff. I was like are you stupid Im not falling for this crap I haven't received anthing in the mail and my lawyer said you guys were a scam. They somehow did get alot of my info they called some relatives and my work place with this bs crap. The number seems to be with Alliance which isn't even a real company after checking it out.

Caller said I had a court date with several charges filed against me. Said they would be coming to my residence or place of work today. Gave me this call back number claiming it was the plaintiffs call back, a court case number, and then ended the message stating that I had been notified. His name was Stephan Miles. I called back the number and it belonged to a company named Alliance (which I can't find online). All lines were busy. I tried 0 for a representative and was directed to voice mail. Seems like a scam to me.

got a call from a unavailable number telling me to call 877-625-4341 about having to be in court and facing multiple charges. when i call it back it says that all there operators are busy at this time and to call back at another time or leave a message and they will call back.
