These are mostly calls from non traceable calls utilizing slammed phone #s. Ignore it.

I am also getting such calls. These are all scams as there are no companies , no addresses, or any official correspondence.  Question everything. Also the numbers calling are always some way out of the places and pre recording voices. Ignore them. I do not owe any so called "Payday loans" as they are illegal in NYS. They always call and say that I will be arrested if I don't pay. I cannot stop laughing when they call. What a lame scam.

Got a call from these guys too, funny thing is we are a family of law enforcement and stated that  call is being recorded, "nick" who I know wasmark becausehs voice was the samegot really defensive and pissed because i wouldnt confirm any info was saying I was being unprofessionaland panicked and hung. Don't waste your time, this is a punk ex felon trying to get one over on anyone. just report to your local law enforcement...

im so tired of these people! i talked to this 'mark' man from this company yesterday and was totally confused and told him id call him friday. he said make sure i had a prepaid card to pay my payment friday when i called -__- i did call back, to find the name of the company that picks up and then searched it and the phone number he called me from was the first thing that popped up. then all these threads from everyone else theyve been bothering. he called back again the same day and spoke with my mother. who he threatened, and told her hed be calling me today to get his money and the he WOULD be getting his money. mhmm. RIIIIGHT. how obnoxious. it makes me feel bad for all the people who get scared into paying this crap because they remember a bill or loan somewhere they missed payment on and think this is the same thing... i wish more people would get online and check out who theyre giving their money to...

nothing. its  a scam. there is no legal summons and you dont owe them money. its a way to scare people into handing out their money. you can file a complaint at you state govt level but all in all you cant stop them from calling. but if oyu tell them you know theyre full of crap and theyre trying to scam someone they eventually get bored with you cecause they cant get your money, they quit calling.

no. its a FAKE debt collection for payday loans. its a scam. look on the FBI website, BBB website, FTC website, or any reputable place. you can search payday loan scam on any of those sites and youll find the information.

Thank you to all of you for your posts! I received a call, like some of you, at work and I didn't answer the call because i didn't know the number. A voicemail was left and I was told to call 'Ed' with MGS and Associates at 877-631-3902 with a case number. I did not call back but instead chose to look it up on here. I am very thankful for your posts!

I just got a voicemail as well from an Eddie. Number came up as 832-803-0349 His voicemail said he was with NGS & Associates. Glad I checked here 1st before I called this A**le back. Where the hell do these people get your name and number??
I have had this happen to me in the past. Also, the voicemail came into my GOOGLE Voice secondary LINE. lol .

Got call from this number the person's name was Jay. Told me need to call them about a loan. Its a scam, I let all them call go to voice mail and after they hang up I look up the number and I find this with people saying the same thing that I was just told on my voice mail. It's a big time scam....

Got a call from so-called "marsha" from telephone #281-201-6036 with a # to call back at 1-877-459-6689. not calling back...sorry charlie....SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT....

I just got the call from someone named audrey from mgf & associates i have a summons need to call to take care of right away. What scammers and i also reported them to the FTC. Thank you everyone for your posts. Helped alot

Please stop calling my number

It has been happening to me too & I did some research and spoke to a lawyer. Call them back and tell them the call is being record at the request of your lawyer, then tell them that you are requesting they send you in writing the debt, this is your legal right to receive it in writing. If it is a real debt they have to send it to you before they pursue any further action. Usually they say something rude and just hang up. Hope this helps!!

I just got a call from Rachel right now, with a truck and hwy sound behind her like she was down the street. Said she needs to give me a summons, put to call her at 877-631-3902.

Threatening call was a scam

sept 1 thru today oct 29 2013 this so call company has been call me every other day... some time I would answer their call and act like I could not hear them,,,,some Indiana lady name  Rachael,calls and I told them to stop calling me....and they said I owe this loan,,,,well I said I didn't and if they don't stop calling me they would be sorry....well when they call back ,,,, I told them to wait,,,,and I went and got a coach,s whistil and blue the  heck out of it on the phone,,,they have not call back ,,,,this is also good for telemarketer

They called from a 603-287-4133 number this time and have been using other numbers as well as restricted numbers.  I am just saving all the recordings threatening summons, civil actions, felony charges, etc., for future reference.

If they were truly legitimate, they would not be asking where they can serve the summons at; they would already know where I live and/or work, and I am certainly not going to add fuel to the fire especially since I do NOT owe them any money.

Received a call last week from this number and couldn't understand the woman half the time from MGF and associates.... No response trying to call back which got me thinking because I don't owe anything but worried me.  Now today I receive the same call from a Mandy...exact same message but a different phone number.  I'm tired of this....I work to hard for my money.....

2 voice mails so far from this # A Cloe and Arron.  Said I have a law suit pending.  Gave me a FF224 # for case.  No other details..One on Sept 4, 2013 and another call Sept 5, 2013

I got a call, answered it and hung up, came through as restricted,  they called the Times after that so answered again and told em I was gonna get them for harassment if they called again,    no more calls

Just got a call from Abby saying she was going to connect me with the legal department. I asked her what this was referring too, her phone # & name of the company.....MGA & Associates. I told her I would call her back, but I won't....She said if I didn't call back that she will call me back.....We will see...if she does call me back I am going to tell her that she will be hearing from my attorney.

if you get a call that threatens you with criminal action hang up on them and contact the FTC.  I requested they send me the documents that shows where I borrowed the money.  All they sent me is a form to sign that I owe them money.  Per the FTC this is a scam.  Do not answer the phone or hang up on them.  Do not speak to them.

A "Mark" called me from a restricted number, claiming I have papers needing to be served for some bogus felony charge. The company he claims to be from (MGA or MGS) doesn't exist. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was put on hold. He then answered again, and said there was no one there. I asked them to lose my information. These people are scammers. A.) You can't call to inform someone they are going to be served with legal papers. It's illegal to do so. B.) If you owe a company of any kind money, they have to notify you they are a debt collection agency, and send you a statement in the mail. C.) Being in debt to a company, even in collections, will never be handled with felony charges. It will be a civil matter at best. I talked to the police, and they confirmed this is a scam. Do not give these creeps your information!! I did get a pay day loan several years ago, and it turns out scammers steal people's personal information from those kinds of sites. If they call, ask that they lose your information, and let them know you will be filing a complaint with the FTC. If they continue to harass you, make sure you tell them you can file harassment charges that carry fines of up to $1000 for this type of phone scam.

This place is connecting me at home and telling me i have a court summon  and if i dont return call i will have legel charges on me. and first it was a kim, james, and another lady, know its james again. What should I do.

restricted call came in to both my cell phone number and my home number....at 9:24 am...both messages said they were calling from MGF& A**...and I was to call a man by the name of Spence ....regarding a felony summons against me ...case number NV/02 .... I have no charges against me ...and I have never heard of this company

Okay glad I searched this number! Just received a call just like all the others had mentioned. I was asleep when the call came in & didn't answer it. After listening to the voicemail I tried to figure out what I could have done that could be a felony? I'm disabled & don't get out much - no illegal activity there! Definitely reporting them! Also the person didn't even say my first or last name correct! Mary is about as easy as you can get!

Call came across as *Restricted*

Woman named Audry Sanger, talking very fast, left a VM on my Cell phone,from MGF and Associates saying there is a felony summons that will be filed against me and I needed to call them right away to stop the summons. She gave me a case number and this number to call back.

How in the world this place got my cell number is beyond me. Not calling them back for sure, after reading all the comments. Thanks to everyone for sharing your info.
