Got a voicemail from Kimberly Rose saying she was my new OfficeMax rep. Since I do business with OfficeMax I emailed my "real" rep and was told she couldn't find an employee by the name of Kimberly Rose in her employee database. Weird. It's gotta be junk. I didn't bother calling her back partly because she was doing her very best to speak in a robotic type voice. I found that rather annoying and had no interest in speaking with her.

This really is Office Max, I asked for the representative number and called it. One of the rare occasions when someone calling to talk about our office supplies seemed legitimate.

They said they are from Office Max updating our account info.  Wanted to know who the person was that handled our account w Office Max.  Don't you think they should know that information already?

Yes it is an Office Max rep. wanting your business since there is no longer an office max charge card. At least in our area.  They will set you up with a business card to use when going to the local Office Max and you will get discounts but there still is no chargeing.  You get free shipping on orders ove $50 on the internet. He was very polite and is sending me a catalog. Was not pushy. Sent me a ligitimate email with his name all the info and Office max info.

I keep getting calls from a "Dewie Drinnan" from Office Max, extention 6843.  I've called him several times to ask him to stop calling - a couple months goes by and dammit if he doesn't start calling again!  

My next call is to Office Max and report this jerk.

I got a call from that number, but when, I called back, the message said the phone had been disconnected.  Was this really a sales call?

This is a rep from Office Max. My company uses Office Max so it was just the rep checking in on how we are liking their business.
My guess is if you are not with Office Max they could be offering business. They're very polite- just let them know you aren't interested and they should leave you alone. :)

I receive a phone call from Chanel(?) at x6443 (Option 3). She was presenting herself as our new account rep for Office Max. She was asking for our "Purchasing Dept" and thats when I intercepted and told her no one was available to take her call. She seemed pleasant on the phone but it's a waste of time. Just a sales call.
