Been getting calls from this number for days now.  Never answer and the caller never leaves a message on my answering machine.  I heard it's from M and T Bank.  M and T did sent a letter weeks sgo about signing up for some credit credit card promotion  and said if I wanted to call them about it.  I never called and not interested in the new credit card thing.  If they keep the harassment calling  I'm going to tranfer my accounts to my credit union.  I'm on DNC list.

I called this number back. It was Time Warner Cable looking to upgrade current customers with more services they offer such as adding television and phone service for Internet only customers.

Called my house 800# on Dnc list ( what a joke) . Answerd because I'm retired its raining and have nothing to do . No one on the other end! So why do these a-- holes call.

Getting two calls every few days or so....let the phone answer and no message left.  Answer the call and no one on the line... Really ? !!!

This number calls daily at all hours even before 9AM. We too are on State of PA & Fed. Do Not Call  List. Appears that doesn't mean anything for these companies.Barb

I just received a call from the number mentioned above and upon calling back I confirmed it's M and T Bank. Hopefully this doesn't become a frequent occurrence...

Got a call from this number, no one on the other side.

M & T bank offering a credit card.

They offered a credit card but wanted my husband's and my full SS#. I told them to mail the information.

From 11/12/2012 to 11/20/2012 (8 days) this number called me 18 times.

If it is M & T Bank they are disregarding the Federal Do Not Call List, as I am on the DNC list and do not have a business relationship with M & T.

No message is left, I have a Call Blocker set to hangup on all "toll free" calls. My phone does not ring because the blocker intercepts the first ring. The caller ID information comes between the first and second ring. If it's from a toll fee prefix the caller hears one ring and then silence. I review the caller ID list and see if other numbers are calling a lot, so I can block them if I want. In the same eight days as above the call blocker intercepted 37 calls.

I am not a representative of the company that makes the Call Blocker, I just have personal experience using it. You must have caller ID service from your phone company for it to work. Call Blocker is not cheap, $100.00. Perhaps the Call Blocker can work for you as it has for me. The website: www.digitone.com

T asking if we wanted to sign up for credit card. told her no and if we want anything, we go through our local bank office. she said have a nice weekend and hung up.

its M&T bank  i called my local branch to be sure . But like she said on phone best not to give any information . Id rather take few mins listen to them &  talk and then go to my local bank if im interested.

M and T Bank and they called me today to sign up for a Visa or free savings account.  Very professional and I opened the savings account. They already had all of my information.

Today was the 4th or 5th call from this number ~~~ never any message left.

Yes, it was for an M&T credit card.

Just got a call from this number. I answered and the call was terminated on the other end. I read that some have said it is MandT Bank trying to solicite their credit card.

Called 3 times in as many days, no message.  Called today to find out if it was urgent issue...just offering their new no annual fee credit card.

Please have this person stop calling me.

M&T Bank customer service in ref. to a credit card application.
I'm an M&T customer. They confirmed my info and DID NOT ask for full SS#, DOB (if they had I would have hung up, thats what scam artists do). They were nice. I signed up for the card, it beats my Bank of America card. :o)

Yep.  They keep calling and leaving messages.  I already have an M and T visa card.

Yeap.  I just did that recently. At first Im like huh? But they were nice enough to remove me from the list. I'm assuming we all live in WNY.

Yeah i thought it was illeage to do credit applications over the phone for security purposes. At least thats what we're told at my job.

It is M&T trying to get you to sign up for a credit card. I called to get my number removed. they were nice about the situation and removed my number and put it on a do not call list.

Let hope they do not call again.
