I just got my American Express bill and wondered why I would get a charge from FROG LEG SUBSCRIPTIONS with this phone number, but it was for GOP campaign attire. Glad I didn't cancel my card!  It is a legitimate charge!

Similar story here, you'd think they could come up with a more appropriate name that would cause less confusion.  - Ugh

We, too, just got a credit card bill with Frog Leg and thanks to all of you we now know it was for the McCain signs we bought!

I too called my credit card company and they also told me this was a direct marketing call. It is a company name I don't recognize. Thanks to you folks I didn't have to falsely dispute the charge. I too made a purchase from GOP Trunk. Thanks for your posts.

Rec'd my credit card bill with an $11.80 charge to Frog Leg in Indiana.  Amex says it's a direct marketer.  Turns out to be a company that was selling "Vote McCain/Palin" signs.

I had the same problem.  Received my bill from AMEX showing "Frog Leg Subscriptions."  I placed a call to AMEX to dispute the charges and then I called FROG LEG and got a hokey answering machine which really raised my suspicions.  My son then recommended I do a Google search on the phone number and I found out that FROG LEG is actually GOP TRUNK -- case solved.

That's what I thought too... but after I called the number, I found out it goes to "GOP trunk" dba FROG LEG, and I realized my charge was for a yard sign I did order, not a fraudulent charge <whew!>
