They called me once and claimed they are from Rogers, I thought the number is suspicious and I refused to talk to them. When they called back several days after, I did not pick up the call, but called Rogers instead, gave them this number and asked them if it is one of their own numbers. The rep told me that it is indeed the number of one of the companies Rogers contracted to make calls to their customers, so at least this is not a scam.

Next time I will just listen to what they have to say and ask them not to call back.

THIS damn number keeps calling me, and from others are saying here its on behalf of rogers.. you know what, if i wanted to speak to them i would call them. i dont like being harrassed by these companies. wish i could just get them to stop, for now i just reject the call.

Avast! Mobile Security installed on my Android phone block selected numbers after one ring.

calls several times a day.......no one speaking when i answer. a couple times someone says hello and then hangs up...super annoying!!!!!!!!!!

Caller states he is calling on behalf of Rogers. Caller asks for me by name, I told him I have opted out of all Rogers marketting and he should not be calling me ever. He apologises and hangs up.
This information tells me several things that I find disturbing.
1. Rogers is giving my personal information to a third party.
2. Rogers is disclosing my personal information against my explicit instructions to not do so.
3. Rogers does not respect my privacy nor my privacy concerns.
4. Rogers 'opt out' of marketing permissions settings that are available through "My Rogers" account settings is ignored.
5. Rogers should not be trusted.
6. These calls have been persistant since immediatly after my contract ended.

Receive a call a day from them.  Said they were from Rogers and wanted to provide a 'special' phone upgrade not offered through the Rogers outlets.  Told them to call back later and have not answered since.  Will deal with folks in the store.

Got a call from this number yesterday, and the caller (Indian accent) said he represented Rogers to offer me a "great deal" on iPhone 5 (CAD$179)

I hung up before he went further.

In reply to T. I also got a call from this number while driving. Do you think this is intentional ? Do you think this is a plot of behalf of rogers to try and have me killed while driving so they can request the remaining amount owed on my contract as a lump sum ? it's definitely a possibility, I'm going to lay low for a while just to be on the safe side.

I received call from this number a number of times.  I can't stand the bs they offer.  Definitely this call center is from India, just pretend you interest & start asking question, once out of script, caller will stumble.  I called Rogers, told them I no longer have service with them & asked them to remove my number from their call list.  It stop for 1 to 2 months, then repeat again.  This type of aggressive/annoying telemarketing occurred after the new Rogers CEO got appointed (he probably signed up his cousine to run call center)  

My question - Is there a way to sue Rogers, a class action against Rogers, demand a huge penalties.  Only way for big corporation like Rogers to understand is "money".

If they would LEAVE a message, that would be nice, but they never do.

They didn't leave me a voicemail - perhaps because my voicemail is the mental help hotline IVR (google it, it's hilarious)

I do not need Roger to call me

After receiving calls from this number as much as two to three times a day for the last couple of weeks claiming to be Rogers, I contacted Rogers and gave them this number.  They checked into my account and  they said that there were no special notations and they're are unfamiliar with this phone number.  The caller most definitely sounded 'Asian' (anywhere across the Pacific).  

In other words, it ain't Rogers.

You know, you don't have to answer personal calls while you're at work...

Have been recieving a few calls from 877-649-4726 with no messages. Will call and give them a piece of my mind, To STOP CALLING - PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im getting calls from this number and since it is long distance i refuse to answer it. this is really annoying me because i get the calls at work and it is hindering my work ethics and progress during closing.

I also just called back. "Your number will be removed within 31 days." Ouch.

Have been calling both my home phone and cell, which are both serviced by ROGERS.

I just called them back and told them to take me off the call list or I would switch providers. He said that I will no longer be receiving phone calls. We'll see!

SAME thanks cautious customer! also that same number ending in 4726. They illegally have my home phone #  on another carrier. Calling the ministry. and CRTC

If you call the number back they acknowledge that they are calling on behalf of Rogers and that your number will be added to their "Do Not Call" list within 48 hours.

Having already contacted Rogers directly to have this done twice over the last 30 days I'm not sure if it will "take" this time but we will see!

They called me today and after a short questionaire about my service they said they could enhance my service with late calling starting at 6pm instead of 8pm and a reduction in my data plan from $25 a month to $20 a month.

They also without telling me, EXTENDED my contract for THREE more years.   I had to phone Rogers and speak to customer service to get my contract back to the way it was before the phone call.

I save my contract extensions for getting the latest new phone every three years.

Just received a call from Rogers, these assholes:

-Are you satisfied with the service?
-No, cause you are calling me
-What can we do to help your issue.
-Stop calling me you fckin idiot ! I hanged up.

Rogers is still better then Bell Canada. What can I say.

ya these people have started calling my cell phone. i am getting really sick of all the random numbers calling me all the time. They didn't leave a message of course.
