Got call for non-resident of my house. When I refused to give information about them, I was threated with going to jail, as well as the person they were seeking. When I laughed and asked for what, they said for a debt. I told him there was no debtors prison, and he had no authority to send anyone to jail. However, he breached confidentiality and ethics by telling someone other than the person he was looking for that they owed a debt. Here's what you need to do to these people. All took verbal complaint and filed, with the exception of Consumer Fin. Bureau. They told me it was more efficient and accurate to file a report online,so I did so. Come on people.. go after these people!!! It is ELEMENT GLOBAL SERVICES.  I informed him he had called the wrong person, and I had spent the day filing complaints against them with all federal agencies. Please do it too

Husband got a message saying they needed to verify address at home or work to delivery "some" paperwork and it was urgent. Press 1 to speak to a live person or call back 877-651-4648. It's a scan. I've had these calls before....do not give them your information or your bank info. They're trying to collect money illegally. It's again the FTC how they're doing it. Confront them and they'll get nasty and rude.

They are scam artists and keep them from calling me i don't owe no body never gotten a loan don't even have a bank account so get lost you won't get free money out with me frauds play on some one else phone

I tried googling every possible combination I could think of in regards to an "Element Global Company" or "EGC" collection, business, firm, whatever... And no such company exists.  So yeah, SCAM!!!!!!

They left a voice mail that said:

"This number called and left a message saying an important notice needs to be delivered to my employer or place of residents and that the named contact will be verified upon answering."

I would like to know who they are. I will not answer any number that I don't know. I just hope that it isn't a virus because the voice mail picks it up.

Did you ever hear back from them? They are threatening me with some legal litigation and collecting a percent of my salary if I dont' agree with a financial settlement they are offering.

Received same excited voice to punch 1 or call this number for the important message.  A legitimate message would have named the caller or firm and a general idea of the subject.  This number on reverse lookup brought me to this site.

They call me to verification my address.

They keep calling my phone saying they need to verify my address and place of employment i dont know who the f*** they are

They call and leave a voice message, but never ask for anyone in the house by name. They say something silly.  "We are looking for an individual and will let you know who that individual is when you call back. We have something to deliver to your office or home."

1. Don't know who they want. It could be anybody on Earth or Mars.
2. They don't say the name of their company, so they could be any scam artist in the world.
3. We don't want anything delivered to us that we didn't order.
4. If it smells like a scam, it usually is

Company is named ECG. Called back and got a "Mr. Moore" asked what the business does and he said "We're a mitigation firm" I asked what that meant and he hung up. Called back and got voice mail for Derrick West and called back again and was told number was removed.  I think it's a collection agency

I got this call and the message said to press one to talk to a rep or whoever is speaking to call back and verify an address for delivery.  If they knew who they were calling, they would have used my name AND if you have my home number, you have my address.  Called back and got Mr. Morris who refused to say who the company was and wanted me to give him my number so he could give me to the correct rep.  I hung up.

this was a recording claiming to be from some global company and their  was a transaction coming out of my bank today and if I knew nothing about to call this number back.  I called my bank and asked them about it and they said my account does not have anything coming out that is unusual  or suspicious  and my account if fine.  She told me they do have a global company but none of the phone numbers is the same as the one who called me. I told her I will not call the company back in fear of them wanting my information. She agreed with me.

They have called my phone 8 times since yesterday. I answered the last one and it said something about cell phone transaction I was unaware of? I don't trust it.
