I keep getting unwanted harrassing calls from this # 7 days a week, & they are invading my privacy  now, & i want them blocked. I want 1-800 669-0102 blocked from here on in thank you.

Verizon Wireless trying to get me to re-up on plans where the contract is expiring soon.

Sick and tired of this number calling me EVERYDAY on my MOBILE phone - yet they leave e. no voice message.   Next step - I'm going to figure out how to BLOCK this # !!!

My telephone number is on a "do not call" list, yet they call anyway.

spoke to gentleman from verizon wireless. wantted to see if i was happy with my plan. seemed like a telemarketing ploy to see if I wanted to upgrade my services. He was from Verizon Wireless because he did have access to my information, plan, phones and services.

Left no message. I called back and it was Verizon Wireless.

We get these all the time.  They leave a dial tone on the answering machine.

I get calls nearly daily from 877-657-2730 on my cell phone. I called the number back twice three weeks apart, but from my office phone, and the message says "Hi. This is Scott. Leave a messge". I accidently answered the phone call once, and there was just air.

I called Verizon Customer Service. This is NOT a Verizon Telemarketer phone number. The customer service representative explained that a soliciter will use a software program to call a huge bank of phone numbers. The phone numbers that get answered go into a special database of "good" phone numbers and then get sold off to telemarketing companies. If you are a Verizon cell phone customer, Verizon will allow you to block up to five phone numbers for free. I got this phone number blocked from calling my cell phone.

Caller said he was from Verizon and asked for my husband.  I told him I was the wife; he wanted to know if I was an authorized user.  I said yes.  He asked for my full name and my password.  I replied "Oh, come on -- you have got to be kidding!!" and hung up.

877-657-2730 showed on my caller id and they left no msg 3 times. I called the # back and it says hi its Bobby cant take your call right now leave me a message. I dont feel it is right these people can just go around pestering people all day.  GET A JOB LOSER!!!!!!!

I got the same call with the same offer, and the caller was someone whose talents were definitely not well suited to telemarketing. She read me terms and conditions and said there would be an early termination fee. I said no, all our lines are almost off the 2 years because I wanted to let them get that way, and I had to insist she undo whatever change she was trying to make. She quickly said "thank you and you have nice day" and hung up before I could get her to confirm she undid whatever it was with the overage minutes, etc. GAH!

Called my cell phone, left no message

They kept calling so I finally answered to get them to finally stop. The fast-talking woman was trying to get me to upgrade my phones and service. I firmly said No Thanks to any new phones. Then she said they'd give me "500 over limit minutes"  free, and just a moment while she sets it up. I told her I'm driving and couldn't give her my full attention and write down what she was offering, and to please send me the details via e-mail or mail. She said no, it was a promotion only available NOW. I declined the "offer". Couldn't they just give me the minutes if they were really free??

Calls cell phone constantly & never leaves a msg.  I am a Verizon Wireless customer, but my contract doesn't expire for another couple of months.  I have never had any problems or complaints with their service, but the constant calls coming in on my cell phone while at work are getting me to reconsider whether a phone contract for another 2 years with Verizon is worth it...

They have called every day for the past week, sometimes twice in one day. I never answer it and they never leave a message. Verizon Wireless telemarketers?! They keep this up and I'm going to switch providers!!

I called the number back. It's definitely from Verizon wireless trying to give you some special offer for really great deals on phones. I told them they've been calling me every day and never a message, and that I would like them to please stop. She apologized & says she'll put me on a Do Not Call list but it will take ~30 days to go into effect. This is really annoying & they should really stop since it's almost like getting harassed every day by them.

Similar type of phone number used to call an unlisted home phone number when residents are online or checking e-mail.

Block the number for free for VZW customers!  This does work.

These settings are found at My Verizon > Verizon Safeguards > Spam Controls > Call & Message Blocking

Options available:

   * Block all calls & messages originated from specific numbers.
   * Block up to 5 specific numbers.

... It's Verizon Wireless calling their customers with deals and incentives to renew our contracts.  I told them, keep it up and I won't!  I've been a subscriber since '97 and have been very happy, but this is BS!

Have called several times in past week. Caller ID says Not Provided & shows the number. The caller doesn't leave a message.

Called once studdered and stamered and asked for my father and said they were from verizon wireless?

No message left.

no message left for me too!
