called yeterday and today left no message, but heard all the tell tale sounds of a call center.

call 6 times today!! Would not leave message on voice mail!

They call almost every day, never leave a message, so we always have a bunch of hang ups on the answering machine.  Can hear call centre background noise.

I received this call at 9:20 AM. With no one on the line.
I have Verizon as my phone carrier for the home line. Thank God they have a feature that you can add to your caller ID service by the name of caller blocking. It's an extra $7.00 a month but really worth it. I immediately blocked the number as well as 16 others of similar pestilence. All callers who block their names also will be asked to identify themselves and you will get a special ring to let you know who is calling. There are more features as well. You can allow "VIP" numbers to go through, in case of family or business numbers that are blocked as "out of area".
I finally have peace of mind and suggest that you look into your phone company to see if they offer this.

I got a call from this number at 1:14 pm. It was from some firefighters so he claimed. He was a fast talker and really hard to follow. I told him no and hung up. There was no name on my caller ID just a number. Wish there was some way to stop these calls.

I do not want to contribute to any charity anymore, because they don't respect.  They circulate donors phone numbers among themselves and your junk calls grow over a period of time.

Persistent calls from this organization.  They trick you into thinking it is a local firefighters group.  Nothing to do with local firefighters.  Beware.

Nothing seems to stop them.  If you block one number, they will resort to using another number or charity name.

That web site really does exist. Try it again.

calls will not stop

They called me in Harrisonburg VA this am and pressuring to find out what donation we would be willing to give. Said they didn't want to waste envelopes if we wouldn't tell them the amount..Sounds like a scam to me.

Two calls placed from this # on 1-08-2009.  Did not pickup. I live in MO. and am on a no callers list.

Look at the Charitable Solicitations Program Charity Profile Report for "Firefighters Support Services, Inc." which uses this phone number.

Repeated calls, do not leave message.  Tonight I answered and asked Art Giamara to remove my name & number from their call list. He said he was calling on behalf of fire fighters.  These guys age abusing the system.

when I explained I was not interested, the caller became rude and used profanity.  "Tough man" on the phone...

I looked at their website and two things jump out at me.  If they were for real would they really use "go daddy" for their domain?  And secondly, there wouldn't be so many typo's on their website.

We just got a new phone that is awesome - it will announce the name or # of who is calling (no need to pay for call id anymore) and it will allow you to block calls from coming in.  If you receive a call from someone you don't want to call again, there is a way to save the # to a blocked list.  If they call again you will get one fast ring and then it stops.  If you get a lot of annoying calls I highly suggest this phone - it is model #KX-TG9341T by Panasonic.

They called me and told them that I give my donation at work and our church. Then I received a call today and answered the call --all I heard was a man burped and I just hang up.

Some guy from this number called me this morning, asking for a donation.  Overly friendly -- called about the Firefighters Support Services.  I told him I could not donate and he was very aggressive -- kept talking and asking me to donate $15.  When I repeated that I would not donate he abruptly hung up.  These guys have called me before and they are totally scam artists -- I know I have received calls from the same group but asking for donations for different charities.  I left them a message asking them to remove me from their list but it probably won't work.  I'll just keep hanging up on them first from now on.

called at 11:00am on Sept 15.  Caller said his name was Mr. Jackson.  When asked for the organization he represented, he hung up

i received a call tonight from the number: 1-877-657-6576.  the guy said he was from the firefighters association and wanted to collect money for burn victims and could he send me a packet.  he started the call by asking me if I was staying out of trouble and if I needed any help he could send a couple of guys over to my home to help me.  He specifically used my full address. This frightened me because he knew my full name, current address and home phone number.  He continued the conversation  pleading for money and I told him no way and hung up.  How in the heck did he get this information in the first place.  Beware of calls from this number. Don't give any information and just hang up.

Calls 7 to 10 times a day. Will not stop calling when asked too.

Get evening calls from this number at least three times a week, always asking for my wife, Thelma.  When I advise she's not available, the caller, always a male voice, thanks me and promises to call back at another time.
