Received two calls from 866-964-8194. The guy leaves
a callback number of 877-655-6929.  When I called he
gives me two case numbers and says there's a warrant
attached to one of them.  He transfers me to the
receptionist who tells me the same thing about the
warrant.  How she was ever hired to answer phones
is a mystery...she is American, but speaks in ebonics
She must have failed English grammar.

i received two calls from this number and i looked up their information and found out they were located in florida. I took it upon myself to visit them and found several law firms, a processing center and a financial instition.I know i didnt pay back my loans, so i cant be mad at them for doing their job. I just hope its not too late.

these folks love to use the scare tactics ,warrents being issued ect... If there were debters prison a lot of us would be locked up.  They are on a commision basis.

They identified themselves as Oasis Legal, stated that they would be sending a matter to the county. They are a simple collection agency.

YOU TALK ABOUT SCARE TACTICS THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY WERE TURNING THIS OVER TO THE LOCAL AUTHORTIES AND TO MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND THEY WERE GOING TO CONFINSCATE THE COMPANY HARD DRIVE SINCE I SENT FROM MY HOME EMAIL ON MY COMPANY COMPUTER. THEY HAVE THE IP ADDRESS OF MY HOME EMAIL ADDRESS BUT THE IP ADDRESS IS WHERE I WORK. BOY ARE THEY TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE. MAYBE PEOPLE SHOULD USE SCARE TACTICS BY TURNING THESE CONSTANT HARASSING PHONE CALLS OVER TO THERE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL LIKE I AM GOING TO DO.

Yes i rcvd the same message. I got the local police dept involved and they called me back and i told them about me fiing a report on them and they asked me why i got the police involved. Needless to say they havent called me back yet. Go file a  police report if you get another call from them.

Let me get this right...you owe $200 but they're telling you their fees included that you owe $700? Wow...I get better fees from Louie the LoanShark! If you ever receive a call like this again tell them that you've 1: recorded the phone call and that your lawyer will contact theirs...get their legal firm's nam,e and address and phone number as trying to tap such a large surcharge (over 21%) constitutes loansharking...and racketeering charges under RICO laws should nhet you all kinds of good stuff when the law strips them of all they have for their participation in organized crime.

If you ever receive a phone call and you're threatened or told to get a lawyer then proceed to get all kinds of details from these people...specifically their lawyers names and addresses. Tell them that you are prepared to not only go to court, but also that you have plans to counter-sue and that you've also recorded the whole conversation, whether or not you have doesn't matter.

A Ben Lomax called me from this number. Leaving me threatening messages about having my lawyer call about an important issue! I thought something was really wrong, but decided to google the number!! Glad I did now I know its a bunch of crap!! Thanks!! I was wondering how you call a company that don't announce themselves or have professional message service!! Thanks again for the post!!

I just got a call from someone named Bev and she transfered me to Michelle Millian. Michelle proceeded to tell me that I had a payday loan from 2006 and they were going to report me to the Wake County Courts. I told her this was not my debt and send me documentation showing my signature. She said I already had it. She said i needed an attorney. I told her not to call me anymore about this and do what she needs to do. She called back several time back to back after that. I didnt answer. Then i decided to look up this 1-877-658-6929 number on google. To my surprise there are several people out there getting the same call. They are even telling others that they had a loan in 2006. I just wrote my attorney general office about this. Anway, this company is a SCAM. Dont send them anything!

You need to get a lawyer and sue them,there are lawyers out there that will take your case with no money down.

Got a call today - same thing, some past payday loan. Tried to harass me at work - told them to serve me, i'd be waiting...

Hi LuckyLola, just wanted to let u know that I went through a simular experience, and like you, they just kept taking money out of my account.  But instead of dealing with those slimy a&*holes, I went directly to my bank and told them the horrible story.  I initially went down there to have the reaccuring pyments blocked, but my bank went much further and had all of the money returned back into my bank account within four business days!  I couldn't of thanked them enough.  I almost lept over the desk and kissed my banker on the mouth!   I proceeded to tell her (banker) how stupid I felt for letting this happen and she replied by stating that this happens to a lot of people and unfortunately, they are unaware of the bank being able to help them and more then likely being able to get all funds returned back into their bank account.  Most people spend and waste most of their time trying to get someone from the collection agency on the line which leads them absolutely know where!  Well, hope this helps with your daughters trip and I wish you guys the best of luck!  

P.S. Can they take that money out of your daughters account when she is a juvenille?  I wouldn't think so, and maybe that is something else you can look into.  (You never know, you may be able to take them to court ;)

If they gave you a date of the loan, you can contact the bank and they can show you if the money and how much was deposited into your account....

this company is calling for something from 2006, using names like Michelle.  When I asked for documentation for this "debt" they typed a little letter and sent to me.  They couldn't give me the proof where it went into my account.  They even called my boss and spoke to him and made him think she was with the legal department of our company.  If I owed the debt I would pay, but I'm not giving anybody money if they can't even provide me the proof.

It's people like you that don't know there rights is why these scum get away with what they get away with.This America you can't go to jail for not paying your bills.

There is no such thing as a debtors prison.  A true law firm would not use those terms.  I would suggested calling the client and settling the account with them.  Telling some one that they will go to jail is false and against FDCPA, and comes with stiff fines.  Also if they tell you they are going to sue you they must do so.  If they are calling from Flordia, and the loan was taken out in Texas they must have someone represent them in Texas.  They have to have a practice in an state they sue.

Bull! We are not upset about paying what we owe,so shut it! This company SJM,Platinum b or whatever they want to call themselves not only got what they were owed but then after being contacted numerous times making sure this was done and letting them know the account had changed proceeded for the next 15 months to steal almost 4000.00 out of the account of my 13 yr.old daughter who was saving for a team trip and now will not be going.The bank is who finally noticed this and we have now filed with the FTC and thankffully our local FBI office handles financial crimes.I called this company the other day and they said oh,we will mark this as paid in full.But nothing about what they owe me.They will not answer phone and when you do get through they threaten and hang up.I will not stop until I have harassed them for awhile.Them ,Ellis Crosby ,Bass Assoc.,United Pay and everyone else.And If I can find out who this Nikki Walker is or whatever her real name is she's on the list too.You stole from a 13 yr.old girl you low lifes!!!!

These guys are clearly violating the fair debt collection act. All on this blog need to take action, there are laywers out their that sue debt collectors and don't charge up front fee's if you win the debt collectors will have to pay your legal fee's, the more people that sue them the better chances they will be put out of bussiness. You people on this blog really have slot of power if you would take action. I'm in the procsses of sueing this debt colllector.help me put these people out of busness by taking legal action.

i have reported them to the office of regualtion in florida. they have gotten numerous complaints on these idiots

they have never provided me with any type of proof of a loan. they can't since i never ever had one. these ppl are crazy if they think i'm giving them a dime. lol

they cannot arrest you for a debt. these ppl change their name every year or so because they get shut down for fraud.  they contact me at least once a year for a few days. i have reported them numerous times. i owe no debt except for my home and car and they try and get me to pay something i have never owed. do not give them a dime!!!
