This is a collection agency. They in fact, will leave you a message with a name and case #.  After leaving this message on my child's cell phone, I called and explained that the number no longer belongs to the party they are seeking. They have promised to remove the number from their list.

Called ID on phone was simply "419" -- The are United Collection Bureau (UCB )

this phone number 1877-662-5128 keeps calling my mothers house and she is very ill and I have ask them to remove her number because this was not the person that they was trying to call it also gave me a account number for the person that they are trying to call account #36301554 and said they was a collection agency trying to collect a outstanding bill    I thought that was all personal information but guess not because they are giving out this person's name and account number and also telling they are not paying on a bill.

i have been getting automated phone calls from this number for weeks now saying that i owe money.  However the only bills i have i pay online every month and my documents for these bills say they have been paid on time even early.  So for a collections agency to be calling me isn't called for.  I have called them on numerous occasions during their said hours of operation and after.  When i call during the times they say they are open an automated voice thanks me for calling and please wait for the next available associate.  Then after about 30 seconds it goes straight to voicemail.  I have left numerous messages with them asking for them to please contact me on my number i left and i also left my name and reference number they left in a voicemail for me and i have yet to receive a call back and im going on 3 weeks now.  I have a feeling they are frauds.

they better go out of business. i know ceos at phone companies gonna find and my boys will pay them a visit.

I am so sorry you actually believe a do not call list works. i am really not trying to be ornery. I'm just saying, do you really believe anyone can protect a persons personal information when we all at one point or another, so freely give it up? I could just kick myself in the a**.

       Yesterday, these people went as far as calling my human resources center at my place of employment, who then forwarded them to my direct bosses extention. It was my day off, or I would probably been fired had I got to talk to this person named Tracy. Cussing is not aloud in my place of employment. They have a very strict regiment. The fact that this Tracy talked to my H.R. and my direct boss , well , there are no words to explain my feelings. They also have policies on personal phone calls. I will do as you say and call them back requesting their info;(like address), which I need to tag them to the B.B.B., and if they are as nice as you say they are, they will not mind giving it to me. By the way, if indeed this is a secret society of comp scamming doctors- how do I squash them? Thanks bunches

Pay your bills and you won?t have to worry about them calling you.  Be responsible.  People that don?t pay their bills cause increases in cost for the rest of us who pay our bills.

Got a call that showed only number 419. Did not answer they left messege to call number 877-662-5128. When I called,their answer system only stated/ UCB.
It must stand for United Credit Bureau, only thing I could think it might stand for.

This is a harrasing phone number calls at all times of the day and night... sick n tired of this..? don't even know what it is all about?
They legally need to disclose their information to me if they what a response?

The call wasn't even for me it was for my ex. The phone number they called is not even in the same last name it's my Dad's number. I don't thankfully owe anyone anything.

I received multiple automated calls from this number pertaining to a collections matter for a person I've never heard of.  I called back and left a message saying that they have a wrong number.  A couple of days later, I received a call from a cell number and the caller (who was in a loud room) asked for my last name; I did not oblige and I hung up, but I have a feeling that the cell caller was connected with the collections company.  I immediately called the collections company and was told that my number had been removed from the file.  They denied any knowledge of the cell call.

I just got a call from these guys and called them back asap with the reference number they provided. The man I spoke to was extremely nice and just told me they received a bill for me from an ER bill that I owed six dollars on LOL He laughed and said, "I can't believe they sent us this." Very kind. I told him that i'd mail in my payment next week and he just said thank you and that he would mark it in the system as such. They are just doing their job. I usually never call dumb a** companies like this back but I knew what it was regarding and I am happy I got a cool guy! :D Hope you all who call these guys get that man I had. Very helpful!

Just some helpful info to all you consumers out there. I have done collections for a living for 10 years, under FDCPA you are required to put the Cease and Desist in writting to the company you wish to not contact you. 2nd per the HIPPA act they can not give any information until they do ID who they are talking to. If they are caught disclosing any information with out verifying first it is a 250,000 fine for the company and potentialy the rep that disclosed it. So to those of you who say they are secretive they are not they are following laws, you can verify this by going to ftc.com (federal trade commision) who governs the fdcpa and also you can verify content on the HIPPA act. (HIPPA specific for medical debt only) so think of this the next time you as a consumer wants to be rude. If you take a step back they are protecting your privacy, and to the wcomp case you not correct in referance to being easy to remove from Credit Rep...again FDCPA says you as the consumer is your responsibility to follow up on your wcomp case and follow up with the POE as well as the company they process there claims through generaly its solved by getting correct Diagnostic Codes. I do not support collection agency's that do not follow the law but this company seem's to so SHUT UP return the call, follow up and ALSO DO NOT CALL LIST IS FOR TELEMARKETER'S DOES NOT REFER TO COLLECTION AGENCIES. YOU DONT WANT THE CALLS. THEM PUT IN WRITTING THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE TO CALL UNTIL YOU DO SO.

I am on the "Do Not Call List", and don't have any knowledge what this all about. They don't say who the message is for.

I keep getting these calls almost once a day for the past three or four weeks, this time I finally answered it, to hear a machine talking, which here is illegal to go around calling with a machine system to tell you to call back! BULL! I talked to the "operator", I asked for her name, and she gives me mine, I asked again for her name, and she can't give me a straight answer, this sounds like BULL written all over it! and then I explain to her, where I live, it's illegal to go around cold calling people's homes with a freaking machine! They told me something different, they said they were the Genetic Collection Bureau. From reading the past posts, they go off saying they are a collection agency that keeps changing their name, something's extremely wrong here! and they then tell me they have my account on the current bills I'm paying to my ER center.... well, now, I'm pissed, because one, that's private info, and two, I'm still paying that bill, ON TIME to the actual BILLING CENTER, not these a-holes! They told me that they recieved a report of late payments, and I was like, "BULL S***!" and hung up, they can come after me all they want, I have the proof of paying my s*** on time!

When they call it a recording giving a phone number to call. They do not say who they are or what they want.

This is a bogus company, if I ever heard of one.  I just received a call from this number indicating my account.  I have no account and don't owe anybody anything.  They even left me an account number to refer to when i call them back.  Hell will freeze over before I call them.  There are some weird people out here that don't have anything better to do than to ATTEMPT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE.

I just called 877-662-5128 and it is UCB, which stands for United Collection Bureau.  This is a medical collection agency and they were calling in regards to a bill that had not been paid since March 2008 from a visit to the emergency room.  This was supposed to have been covered by workman's comp but the company I worked for at the time didn't follow through. I will follow up with the company & if they don't take care of this, I'll take it to the next level.

The lady I was talking to said I could pay the bill & then once they collected the charge they would reimburse me & that also would keep this off of my credit report.  Two things here-for one, I don't trust the company, since they didn't deliver like they said they would and also, if this does get on my credit report it will be easy to remove.

If you talk with these folks in a calm & courteous manner they will give you the information you need.
