Just received a call today from Allied at my job and on my cell the lady left a message did not leave her name and stated that I am being charged with felony and fraud and that I better give her a call today or else.  What is or else?  Then she said you have been served, we come to your job and get you, you have been ignoring our calls and our mail.  I have never received anything in the mail.  Then she slams down the phone.  I don't like the threats and the fact that this woman is constantly call my job phone.  When I call back they do not give an address.  The lady said we don't give out our address, we only have a po box, I said well send me something to my address, she said it's against their rules.  Bull..they are a scam.  The need to be stopped!!!

Allied called me from 1-877-664-9639  also, looking for someone with my brothers name. They left a message on my answering machine... They told me that You Have Been Served!  The thing is my brother doesn't live here.He is in the phone book ...same number for over 20 years, same address printed in the phone book for over 20 years...he has a common name. Now do they really think he's hiding from someone? I tried to talk to to lady and let them know they had the wrong person with that name. She became very rude and told me to tell he he had been served. I told her to call him yourself, he's in the phone book.

Kathy Newman from Allied Mediation called my house, work, and friends several times daily.  She threatened to have me picked up from work within the next few days if I did not resolve this issue.  When speaking with the company, they said that she was a locator to serve me with papers.  I was instructed by my attorney to get the company's information, to request the information in writing, and to ask them not to call.  The company refused all of the above.

This company only identified themselves as "Allied" a collection agency.  They call my place of employment 3 to 5 times per day, not to mention the 3-5 calls I get on my cell phone.  

They would not provide me with their address when I asked.  The rep couldn't even tell me who the original creditor was until she did some "digging around".  I asked them to send me something via regular mail.  She refused to do that and said they "don't do that".  Clearly this is a scam.  She became very rude and ignorant with me when I refused to give her any of my personal information over the phone.  

One of the very first things we need to do when getting these supposed "collection" calls is to ask for their full company name and address.  If they refuse to give it to you, do NOT give them any of your personal information.  If they are a legal company, they wouldn't have a problem with divulging their address.
