If you are a Shaw Home Phone (or Business Phone) customer, dial <star><six><zero> and follow the prompts to enable per-number call-blocking, and to add the "last-caller" to your block-list, which can hold 32 entries.

I got this number again this week, like 7 or 9 times this month, can't remember exactly times.

THERE PURPOSE IS TO TRY TO REACH YOU AT LEAST 3 TIME THAN WHEN THEY GET A HOLD AT YOU .....!!!!!!!.......MARKETING!

I agree that receiving calls is annoying, but the level to which some people here get frustrated is mind boggling.  Step back and take a look at things in perspective.  Did you find out that you or a family member has cancer today?  Hopefully not.  Did you lose the ability to move your limbs today?  Hopefully not.  Take a look around, it's a wonderful world, we have all of the marvels of modern technology, and hopefully we all have good health - so why get so hung up about having to answer and hang up on someone once in a while!  LIGHTEN UP

Calling my cell AND my house phone! VERY annoyed with these idiots. I don't care who they are and how 'nice' they are on the phone it should be illegal to phone solicit ppl!

BMO Telemarketing... Callt he number to remove yourself from this list. They will not stop calling until you call to remove yourself from the list. BMO bank teller was not able to help me out...

I get this number at least 3 times a day showing up on my cell.  I do not return calls that leave no messages.  This is prank calling as far as I am concerned, very low class.  If it is BMO I am disappointed, I am their customer.

I do not return anonomous calls, this is abusive use of my phone number, another prank kid banging on my door and running away

Not BMO for me. But it was Capital One.  I told them I wasn't home when they asked for me and asked if there was a message. They said they would call back.

No sure if it is coincidence but ever since I gave my cell number to Shaw cable, I have been receiving calls from this number. They are the only people I have given my cell to and only because the place i am at has no land line.

I called the number, reached a representative, told him what's going on, and he said they'll take my name off the list. I guess we'll see what happens, whether they actually do it or if I keep receiving calls.

It is a legit BMO number.   I called in BMO and just had asked regarding it.  Apparently it's part of their airmile program division which has access to all "airmiles" program subscribers.

It's calling me three times a day.

just got the 15th call in a row from this number. It IS infact BMO direct marketing.  i called them back since i missed the call on my cell and as usual, there was no message.  The staff at the other end was wonderful and professional.  She advised that it is for marketing purposes only and that there is no relation to my account.  They might be offering new services or asking how i like the service i am currently getting.  SHE suggested that she remove my number from the call list...and i hadn't even complained yet!  She assured me that it is in no way related to any banking or credit activity and is merely marketing.  Just phone the # back and they will remove your name/number from the list...it took less than a minute and honestly...they were really nice on the other end.
hope this alleviates someone's concerns! those kinda calls drive me nutso.
