Called from this number by Alliance iCom (?). They wanted the last 4 digits of my phone number ( which they had just called) for "security purposes"  as they had in important message for me from American Express???  Whose security I asked. You are calling me.
Hung up.

This number called me at 6:00pm. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.
According to other forums, it's Alliance Icom on behalf of Amex...but they want too much confidential information.

I don't answer or just flip it on and off - I really don't care any more if the are such things as "legimate" calls.  Nobody should think they can get away with endlessly bother the whole world.  The government believes I have no rights, and dizzying numbers of "man hours" are wasted in the entire population because someone in government thinks a law against harassment might disturb the .00001% chance of a "legimate" business call.   Is there no one to protect us?  Answer:  no.

I live in Ontario Canada and have been getting calls daily from this  #. Caller id says Alliance iComm. Looked up Alliance iComm and it is suppose to be a customer contact center. I called it back to be put on the do not call list and it was a recorded message that started talking about my love forecast. Hung up immediately.

I got the exact same phone call. Asked me to give my address to confirm my account and the last 4 digits of my home phone number....which now that I think about it doesn't make any sense because you called me. She said I had received an offer for another American Express card and the deadline was approaching. They asked if I had applied and when I said no, she said, "No problem. I'll do it for you right now..." I said, I didn't want the card and hung up. Some type of phishing scam.

Got a call from 877-667-0422 and caller id listed them as Alliance Icom

Wanted the last 4 digits of my phone number and when I gave them that info which they had if they called me they wanted me to verify my address.

I said No that I don't give out personal information.  They continued to say they were contracted by American Express and I told them that I had not been notified by American Express that someone would be calling about new programs.

I hung up and called American Express and they checked the company name and phone number and American Express said that I was wise not to give out information as they are not part of American Express.

Please advise people that this is a SCAM and a way to get your identify.

When I called the number back it was a company selling Satellite dishes and couldn't get through to a live person.

I got a call from this number.  They said it was Amex but could not tell me what it was about until I gave them my information, (2 questions).  I refused to give them any information as they could not give me more details.  Strongly suspect it is a Scam and told them so.  I almost fell for it initially...

Got a very similar call. The caller said he is calling from Alliance on behalf of American Express and had a very "Important Message" but need to confirm my details to confirm identity first NS and asked me to confirm last 4 digits of phone number. Funny...considering he had called me on that number. I cut the call short saying I would call AE to confirm.

I suspect this is a scammer. I called AE to confirm if there was any important info they wanted to share bu there is no record of any such call on their system.

Caller said calling on behalf of American Express. Asked to confirm last 4 digits of my phone number seemed kind of strange considering they called me. I said call display didn't show American Express and I said if AE wants to call me they should do it. Call was problably a scam.
