It's not telemarketing if they're not selling you anything. A lot of companies circumvent this by starting with an informative call - hence why Robocalls are still legal for "information only". if someone expresses an interest in the information provided then it's purely the own persons fault.

Also - don't pick up for numbers you don't know. Robo systems log this information and then create separate lists for successful answers.

Or...most importantly....realize that marketing consists of everything promoting a product, idea, person, organization, product etc. That thing you typed your abortion of a message into was a product of marketing.

I know some people who hate computers. I know some people who love computers. Is it fair for you to try to make  company look bad because you didn't like their marketing? Is it fair that you try to get other to dislike a company who may have never been contacted by this company?

My experience was pleasant. You most likely are over the age of 50 and still think you can call your friend by saying a single number.

they say they are medical supplies for diabetis and they call all day long and even at 9:00 p.m. stating that they received information that I had done on line, which I NEVER do.  Where are they getting the information and how.......if this does not stop, they are calling my business line

I began receiving calls from this number on June 18th 2012, but on June 19th the number of calls I received escalated.  Starting at 9.58am I got nearly a call an hour from the company (Alliance Healthcare).  I received calls at 9.58am, 11.24am, 12.24pm, 3.05pm, 4.26pm, 5.12pm, 5.39pm, 6.29pm, 6.57pm, and 7.14pm.  I filled a complaint both with the Better Business Bureau and the FCC, because 10 calls in one day, including 6 received after I followed their automated system to have my number removed, seems ridiculous.  I encourage anyone else with this same problem to also contact the BBB and the FCC.

I have called them back twice and followed their instructions about being removed from their number yet they continue to call, these people need to be fined for each phone call unwanted, and that fine should be serveral hundreds of dollars

I have 5 calls on my cell phone  from this number and  get them on my home phone.
I want them stopped

They're calling me now, but when I hit end it forwards their call to stop n shop, if I could remember how I made the calls I purposely ignore forward to a different number, I would forward there calls to themselves... >.<

My Dad has been getting calls from various numbers across the country and Alliance Heath is recorded in the caller ID/  My Dad lives in PA but has been getting calls from 609, 602,516, 510, 614 and various other area codes.  It seems like the company is phishing like you said.  In 2002 the company was charged with Medicare fraud.  I am calling the Atty General, FCC, FTC and Medicare.

He gets on average at least 5 calls a day since the veginning of May.

Joe,I believ you're right. Who can help us to find out the people behind this phone number?  I am trying now to get help from a friend of mine which works for a phone company in Utah to find out the location of this number but I dont want to involve her in this case.  I have received over 15 calls from them in the last few days even after I have asked them not to call me anymore.  DNC Registry doesnt help in this case. I have to report this number to Federal Communications Commision, ,Federal Trade Commision ,Office of Consumer Affairs , Police , Attorney General... . Also I am going to take legal action in court against this company  as soon as I have a confirmation of their location . We all have to do this.

They must be phishing. My cell phone is new and not even all my friends have the number yet. But everyone I am likely to call I have already entered, so I know it's not "one of my people."

Mark,  I don't think Alliance is  being truthful.They need to track themselves down. he BBB of Utah says that number belongs to them. So someone would have to be using their name AND their number. Moreover, when you call their number to get on their bogus "do not call" list, they answer as Alliance Health Care. Now, it it's their number, and their name and they answer to their name when you call, and they purport to be selling Alliance-Related products, then they ARE Alliance Heatlh Care. They also manage to circumvent Time Warners Call Block system as well.

I have also seen their phone number online at medical web sites, with someone pushing their phone number...which is the same number on our caller ID.

I keep getting calls from 877-667-2793 Alliance Healthcare, to my cell phone. They wont stop even when requesting the number be placed on their so called Do Not Call List.  I discontinued my cell phone voice mail so when they call it just rings.  I call them back and press1 to leave a message, when connected, I place my cell phone next to the stereo so all they get is a few minuets of loud music. I do this all during the day.  I suggest everbody does this, then maybe they will stop calling.
I looked up Alliance Healthcare on line and called them. They are aware ot these people using thier name and are trying to track them down.

They keep calling and hanging up despite being on no-call list and despite having left them messages to remove me from their lists.

Calling their number and clicking on the 'ask to remove' your number from their calling list (when you never asked to be ON it to begin with) is a waste of time. You will hear from them again. Trust me on this one.

Instead, you must write these parasites a Cease and Desist letter and it's the only way you will stop them from harassing you day and night. Reporting them to the DNC- government people is a waste of time, as are all complaints submitted to them. They are a waste of taxpayer money and only dump your complaint into a "data base".

Make sure you use the words "Cease and Desist" in your letter. This guarantees them that you have a cause for action at their expense if you EVER hear from them again.

They have no website to contact them through, so no email address to make it easy for you to tell them to take a hike. This is because they are telemarketing parasites and thats what telemarketing parasites do.

If you're on the national do not call list, and you got called by a commercial number, you can report that number whether you talked to them or not.

Call was from Allied Health, once I called back.  It is quite disturbing for few people have this number.  The have called my other number, too. While I followed the instructions and put both of my numbers on the do-not-contact list, it is still creepy.

They asked for someone by name.  I asked which one (my husband and his son have the same name) she just repeated the name. Then she said she'd just call back.  I finally said one is dead and I don't know where the other one is.  She hung up in my face.

I just got a call from 877-667-2793.  They asked for my husband by name and said it was in regard to an online request for information on sleep apnea.  He, in face, does have sleep apnea.  I do not believe it is a scam, but I do believe it is from a website that you click "yes" or "no" to specific questions when you attempt to sign up for different contests.  I simply took down the call back number and hung up.

They called 3 times in 5 minutes.  That is the only reason I finally answered the call....to get them to stop.

Received calls.....is Alliance Health.  Husband said we were not interested.   They will continue to call and NOT leave a message....very aggravating.

This number is from Career Institute trying to sell you a course by mail.

Got this call in the evening on my cell. Didn't answer itbecause I did not recognize the number. There was no name on the Caller ID.
