To me, the guy did not say CitiFinancial, but AmericanExpress. He would not specify what he wanted to "discuss" unless I gave him the last 4 digits of my phone number. I hung up.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.  I do not owe any money to anyone, yet I get calls from this number repeatedly asking for a person that doesn't live here and I do not know.  I have told them they have the wrong number yet they keep calling.

Got the call at my work from what they state is ECCOA.  No one ever stated they were from Citi Financial, which I still would not know.  This is a business number that their automated dialer called and gave no information as to whom they were calling.  I called their 877-667-6048 back and let them know they are calling a business and to stop immediately.  We do not accept these type of phone calls.  She said she would take our number out of their system, although this number (work) never came up in her system.  Will see if it calls back tomorrow.

thats harrassment and is illegal they can not do that. there is a way to stop them you just have to find the people who can do something about it. it is illegal for them to call and not identify themselves and who they work for. they must give us a first and last name along with any number they are given at work and the company who they are working for.  (ex. henry camp id # 872158 calling from red river citi)
they have our information why cant we have theirs. - this is how a lot of them avoid lawsuits. you must not identify yourself until you know who is calling and what it is regarding if they refuse say im sorry i cant not varify my information. and hang up the phone. when you do identify yourself only give a first name. or call yourself agent.

I have received several calls from a 011 1 877 667 6152 and each time its a different person on the phone but they all say the same thing. that they are calling from citi financial.
i received one phone call 2 days ago and another 1 yesterday and today i received 3 phone calls from these people. these phone calls are harassing phone calls. ive informed them that they will get paid regardless and they just dont seem to care.I have been several months behind before where i owed close to $400. and never received a phone call and now all of a sudden they are calling me over $60.00
today when i received the phone call from them i informed them that if they wish to conact me to do so threw mail, corespondence and that if the harassing phone calls continue i will and can have them charged with harassment.
once a client has requested to be contacted threw mail they can no longer call you. it is illegal for them to do so. if they do its considered harassment and they can be charged all you have to do is make sure you document everything.

this number called me, my work and my sister who does not share the last name, threatened my sister and said that i was going to be arrested in 24 hours if i did not call them and make a payment to them, but refused to say who they were and who i supposedly 'owed".. when i called them, they threatened me saying that if i did not give them money right then and there the police would be showing up at my workplace to arrest me.. They harrass me at work, my sister who lives in an different state and god knows who else... Something needs to be done to stop these ppl!!!

Anderson Sinclair are a bunch of paralegals who call re: CIBC unsecured credit cards, they threaten to put a lien on the house, garnishee your wages and ruin your credit. we spoke to a man called Maurice Sinkoma he sounded African and claimed to be a lawyer which clearly he is not because he does not appear on any google searches as a lawyer. They are liars and threaten people with legal actions that they are lies!! what is the Canadian government doping about this? Where are the consumer rights? These [people call at all hours of the day and night and harass you endlessly!!! This is not right!

I have also received a number of calls from this number. I don't think it's Citi Financial, because I have never have any financing or anything through them. And they've told me on three seperate occassions that I owe 1) Citi Financial money, 2) the City of Regina money, and 3) the Brick money. I have called all three of these places and do not owe anyone anything. I'm so sick of this dam number calling all the time!

I get at least 5 calls from this number every single day.  I answer and there is no one there.  This has been going on for weeks and weeks.  Just today they have called 4 times and it's 3:30.  I have answered 3 times and not a soul is there.  How do I make this stop?

I am reading all these posts and think it is comical that someone with the name "citi financial" is actually responding.. First off I do not have any account with Citi Financial- so there for you fraudulent folks should stop harassing me and everyone else. Secondly I work for a Major corporation and know and understand the data/privacy laws- not new to this world and can tell off the bat this # is nothing but a scam to get your personal info to commit fraud. So warning to everyone just ignore this # and don't fall for their BS- any collection agency or company looking for payments for outstanding amounts will also contact a customer via mail and will be smart enough to leave you a msg. Again this is a SCAM

HOW TO CONTACT CITI FINANCIAL

877-667-6152 calls repeatedly and when I answer no one is there. Calls at all hours. Caught a snatch of a recording once - Citi FInancial was all I picked out - they have no reason to call me.

i get calls from this number at least 3 times a day. its very disruptive as i am ill and am about to give birth.

You guys, if you MAKE your payments or at least MAKE them ON TIME you will no be called ..... and stop Shopping so much,  then you cry because you can not make payments after 1, 2, and some times 3 years w/ no paymts no interests!!! what else do you want?? be responsable about your finances, and if you can not look for help !!!

Rubbish People

I call back and it says "hang on we're busy".  Then hangs up.
I called back and got a nice woman from Citifinancial.  
I told her how the # calls and no one is there, nor do they leave a message.
She said she apologized and has heard there "may be some glitches".
They had sent me a bill saying I hadn't paid my last Leons bill, when she checked it
it said it was paid the date I actually paid it.  Now she is sending me an update of the account...WTF?  I think it's a case of the a** and the elbow.

This number is Citi Financial. I called the number back and actualy spoke to a real person. I said, "I just got a call from this number and the auto attendant repeated, please hold for an important message, several times then the call got disconnected". They didn't have record of dialing my number, appoligised and said that the auto dialer sometimes has glitches . . .

this company calls me at least 4 or 5 times a day, tonight i called it back and it was citi financial,with a voice mail, stating to stay on the line and speak to someone,...i stayed on the line for awhile, then just hung up, im wondering why these guys are calling,as i dont have any dealings with citi financial....so annoying

I dialed this number that was on my phone and it went straight to a guys voicmail. He was a credit manager for UPS. Apparently he only works in the afternoon, because he doesn't answer in the evening when I call. I don't have a UPS account, but I did have a parcel delivered by them 5 years ago... don't think I have the receipt anymore...

this retarded company calls me at least 5 times a day and I am really fed up with this 18776676152 number. whoever is hired to randomly call random people at random times should get a life, face it, without knowing it they're disturbing other people's lives. it's so annoying! i'm a student and i'd receive calls during my study. they should seriously consider something else to do in life. This number calls me 5 times a day and when I answer there is no one there.  I called the number back and some Indian man wanted to know who I was, where I lived and what my phone number was like the twit doesn't already know.  He said he was from City Financial.  I asked to be removed from the calling list as all they do is harass me several times every day.  He said he won't do anything for me until I give him my name, address and phone number.  I am a single woman living alone as if I'm that stupid.  In the meantime, I programmed them on my cell phone and put them on silent mode so they can waste their time now as I will never answer their call again.

Maybe what people are saying (If you even botherd to look is that there are some people your Company might have WRONGLY CALLED)  for those that ARE paying their bills on time Your Intrusion into their lives is essentially HARASSMENT. Of Course leaving a message or actually answering the "Hold the line for an important message" might be a way to settle the issue as It SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE NOT IDENTIFYING WHO YOU ARE IN THE MESSAGE OR LEAVING A NAME AND NUMBER TO CALL BACK.  Just saying.......if you want results have an actual person doing the calling.....P.S....BeeeeeeeeP This was a recording.......LOL
