Me too yesterday ...

It's a scam, I don't have a Credit Union account-when you call the number they ask you to key in your credit number & exp date.

Got a message:
C.U account frozen, call at 8776705836.

got the fcu frozen account message. JERKS!!!!!!!!

Tells me that my credit union account in frozen to contact them at provided number.    I call the number from my land line and it asks me to enter my card number. I didn't of course.

knew this was a scam as I don't have a bank account of any kind

again, I had not applied for anything money wise, checked this number out as a reverse phone number check, says it is connected to a micro finance institution, whatever that is, also says this is a foreign connection

I GOT A TEXT TELLING ME MY CREDIT UNION CARD HAS BENN FROZEN. IT TOLD ME TO CALL THIS NUMBER 877-250-658 AS YOU CAN SEE THERE ARNT ENOUGH NUMBERS FOR YOU TO CALL. I DONT HAVE A CREDIT UNION CARD

Received a text advising that my CU account has been frozen. I don't have a Credit Union account. It is amazing what one can get a way with in this country.

Funny, I don't have a Credit Union account, called the # and it says "the destination you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time"

What good does it do for you to call if it doesn't work anyway?

Got the same message today. 88000000@tmomail.net   mesage notificationt: CU account frozen , call 877-670-5836 for details.  The fact that they can't spell alerted me this must be a scam.

Got the same message as everyone else.  I am on the do not call list   Is this reportable?

got the same message as read above..... Tried calling the number from work, and the number doesn't even work.... Whoever came up with this thing makes me mad.... Second time I've gotten a stupid message like this!!!!!!!!

Phishing phone number.  Sends a text message to people advising them to call this number because their account is frozen.
