Keeps foning, lets it ring for 3 rings.

I will definately stay tuned as I was thinking to do the same. Despite having no debt these people are still harassing me and then don't even know who they are calling or for what purpose. I get calls every morning which not only ruins my sleep but my husbands as well. I'm fed up and have already filed a federal complaint against them.

If you guys are based in Ontario like me, call this number and file a complaint against them.
If they are harrassing you, it is against the law for a debt collecting company to call you more than 3 times in 7 days. I was harrassed too daily every morning for a month until I called the actual CBV collections agency in toronto to ask who they were trying to reach. The guy couldn't even answer that and said he would remove my number. It's all a big scam, as I don't owe any money and have good credit. All my cards are paid on time and I don't have any loans, so I knew they were scamming me.
The guy on the end who always called was rude and would make me weird stories of having a file open in front of him, went by the name "Julian" and then some other guy in a chinese accent who was equally rude.

Call this number like I did and file a report, otherwise these kinds of companies will never stop harrassing us.
Please don't be lazy about it.

i got a call from this no. this morning at 7:00 a.m., but they usually call eday. not sure who they are, never anyone there when i answer. can't imagine it is anything legit though, because NO agency would allow their callers to call anywhere before 8:00 a.m. I am getting really p..ssed off, and not sure what i can do about it.

This no. calls me three times a day for no reasons but fortunately I have it blocked at the very beginning. So I don't care.

I have been called dozens of times by these people. I have told them I am not the person they are looking for and they have a wrong number. They said they would put that on the losers account......and then called me the next day. From now on they get 2 words......f_ _k offf

I keep getting calls for them as well. Told me I had a debt from a student loan that never existed. I called the bank they said it was with and the bank has no record  of this loan. At the time of this alleged loan they say I had, I was on unemployment and just after leaving one province and moving to another with my significant other at the time. These people are insane and scam artists in my opinion. Careful folks.

These characters are out of control. They have been calling me over 3 times a day for months to collect from someone else.. I keep telling them I`m not the guy.. to never call again.. I`m told they will remove the number.. and another one calls minutes later.. My cell bill is costing $20+ more each month due to them...and I`ve just been informed I lost a lucrative project because the client didn`t hear back from me and my voicemail was repeatedly full. (They fill it every single day usually)

If I don`t answer their calls, which I have to do or my cell bill would be hundreds of dollars more a month, the battery on my phone is dead by 3pm each day due to them calling over and over and over.

They cost me a couple of bucks again today by using a robo caller and asking me to hold on for them .. of course after several minutes I had to hang up (clearly these people would think nothing of making me wait an hour).

This on top of already leaving a voicemail today and me telling them yet again I`m not the guy they are looking for yesterday.

I am going to sue them.. if you have been harassed by these rogues stay tuned to this site.. I will post how things go and set the stage for everyone to easily do the same by posting the exact process .. how to file.. what to present in the filing etc.

There is clearly written federal legislation in place to protect us from being harassed by these companies..so i will be going for maximum punitive damages.

I do not answer 800 numbers of any kind.  So please quit calling my number.

I've been woken up by this number calling my cellphone between 7-8am for the past few days. Since it's a 1-800 number I don't pick it up. They've never left any kind of voicemail to let me know why in the world they are calling. I've added them to my phone's block list.

I called this number back, a man answered and I told him that someone kept calling me fron this number but not leaving a message. He asked for my name and I gave it and then he told me he was looking for a mr herbert??? then he hung up on me when I said I couldn't help!!! what the heck! is there nothing a person can do against these people? If you are on a do not call registry and your number is unpublished how the heck do these people get it??

877-673-3584 - 5 calls one day, thats a new record. no msg.

This number called for my husband tonight claiming to be calling on behalf of Royal Bank. Is it a TRUE collections agency, or a scam? Does anyone know?!

This number called multiple times a day. They are debt collectors from CBV collections.

1-877-673-3584 has called 4 to 7 times a day every day (including weekends) for the last 4 months.  I NEVER answer 1-800 numbers.  I assume it is automated.  How long is it going to take for the idiots to figure out there will never be an answer and stop calling.  Our carrier will not help without charging more money for a service for 12 numbers to be avoided and we only have the one.  How can this 'persecution' be stopped?

Called me 4 times today,it plays a crappy background track and every 30 seconds it says "this call is about an urgent business matter,the next available agent will be on shortly etc "
After 3 minutes of waiting they hang up.....

This number calls my cellphone twice a day! I tried to answer it just to put and end to it but there is no one there. When I try to call it back I get "this number is not in service.

i dont know why this number keeps calling me and asking for som male and never tells me who they are and why there calling my number as a new mother i have a lot on the go as it is i dont need this i cant believe i have to find the number this way but thank you

this # calls me about 10 times everyday...  No messages left and when I called the # back all I got was a beeping noise !  Who is it and what do they want ???????

Got a call Feb23rd 2012 from this number and was left a message.. The man's voice had such a heavy accent I could not understand who the company was,his name or what he wanted. He did say that call was for me by name and had the correct spelling.
I will not call this number back and wait and see if they call again.

Got a call from 877-673-3584 on Saturday around 8:30pm.  Picked up.......3-5 seconds of silence so I hung up.  Called me again today (Mon) around 2-3 pm but I din't get it, they left no messege.
