PS.  The number I received the call from was 1-877-663-7914.  The following link is to report these people to the FTC, if you don't take the time to report them they will continue to terrorize people with these practices.  This is not the first time they have been in trouble.

Someone named Larry Jennings called my mom from this company and made similar threats as above, making claims of fraudulent checks that I'd written (which I have not)???  I had calls from these people from approximately a year ago and at that time I contacted an attorney and they said to ask them for verification of the debt.  I called them back and they became very irritated when I asked for this documentation.  Needless to say, I never received anything from them and the calls stopped.  Now, here we are more than a year later and they are calling again.  Although, this time they are contacting people listed as family from my facebook page.  Just a word of advice, if you have had contact with these people update your page so that nobody can see you friends list because that's where they are getting their call list from...it created a very uncomfortable situation for me with a family member I hadn't spoken to in a while and although it is against the guidelines of the FTC these people don't care and are trying to get you angry enough to call them back and pay them in an effort to get them to quit calling.  Its really sick.  I would recommend that anyone who has contact with them file a complaint with the FTC with detail so they can be held accountable for their immoral behavior.

A process server called me today her name was "Kayla" she stated that she was going to serve me a summons for a fraud case within 24 hours gave me a phone number of 877-821-9551 I called the number and it was A.C.S. the lady i talked to was "Stacy Adams" she stated i owed for a payroll advance through Cash Advance Network and wanted to settle the case but wanted me to get a prepaid card and pay the dept (sorry never had a payday advance) she knew all my info all family members and friends Wow these people are sneaky here is her direct number 877-821-9554 ext344 if anybody wants to harass these people

I just filed a complaint against them with the FTC

I received a call from these people a few months ago. I told the guy I was not giving him any info without documentation. He cussed me out and I hung up. I called the Attourney General and it is a scam. They never called me back until about 2 weeks ago and it started again. Then I received an email from a friend that says he received a call from them about me. If they were truly who they say they are, they could not give that info to him.

I called the Attourney General again and they said to tell them "this is a fraud, stop calling" and hang up. The calls will stop eventually, when they dont get what they want.

I received multiple calls ( I am in central Pennsylvania) around 12/2/10 stating that my relative wrote fraudulent checks. There were heavy legal tones/charges with  a case /docket number.  Seemed very urgent, serious, & on the verge of serious legal ramifications.  The phone number was 877.678.1175.   They wanted me to confirm my relative's date of birth, etc.  I would not.  I demanded that THEY tell ME information they had on my relative.  The city and state ACS provided was across the continent from my relative's location.  "Facts" drawn into the bogus accusation were a case number, fraudulent check charge, ACS, ACS Group,  Ace Cash Express, West Virginia. The representative did not identify herself as a debt collector per se.  She almost seemed to imply that she was connected to the law or working for a prosecuting attorney.   This must be a SCAM!

I had someone call from this number wanting to speak to the "manager." He was looking for an ex-employee I had.  He was claiming he was a police officer and my ex-employee had a warrant out for her arrest.  He demanded that I need to call him back ASAP and gave a weird Ref. Number.  Uh if he was really a cop why would he need my help?  What a hoax!

I received a call they claimed they were calling for a relative on my home phone, stated he had issued a bad check and a summons had been issued for a court hearing. They left a Ms. Guerroro as a contact and said call immediately to 877-678-1175 which was the plaintiffs office. They left a case number.
My inlaws have never written a bad check. It is a total scam, do not pay them!
They answer as ACS when you ask what that stands for they will not tell you. They advised the status of the case was Processed server and would not give further details as I was not the person they needed.....SCAM!!!!!

I HAD THESE PEOPLE CALL MY WIFES WORK, STATING THAT THEY WERE THE I.R.S. AND THAT THEY HAD TO SERVE HER A WARRANT FOR AN OUSTANDING DEBT. I TALKED TO A PERSON NAMED ALEX AND HE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME THERE ADRESS TO GIVE TO MY LAWYER,THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS AND CROOKS. BE CAREFUL.

They called me too   what a joke.  Her name was Kayla and said she was a process server about a fraud check and if I didn't call them ASAP she was coming to take me to jail.   Funny I never called back and noone came to take me to jail.   What a joke

I received 5 messages today from this same number.  They called my place of employment 3 times today, my cell phone once, and my house number once.  All 5 messages said the exact same thing...I am a processor trying to serve you with papers...blah, blah, blah...you need to contact the company directly...blah, blah, blah...you have been warned.  I'm calling my attorneys first thing tomorrow morning.

I received a call 11-26-10 at my previous employment threatening me and telling me "YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED" what is this?
how do these people get your #.
My best friend also recieved a call from a bogus # claiming if he didnt pay them, in not such great grammar. that he would lose his social security and drivers license for 1 Year. pooh, I say. for the first thing S.S. is garnishment exempt, and two he has a JOB working.
how do we look into stopping these bogus calls. Enough is enough, actually while investigating, found most of them come from other countries rerouted into U.S. #s

i also recieved a call from this same number today and spoke to a Jason who would only give me options on how to pay but would not answer any of my questions regarding validationg this debt this company seems to be a sham and if you recieve a call from them you should contact the attorney general

I received a call from this number by a larry jennings. He stated that he worked for ACS and was a process server. I called the number back and asked for a verification of debt. they kept working around the question.They have also called my place of work saying it was a legal matter.( this is against the law). I believe they are a collection agency trying o get money out of people by making threats of legal warnings. Check them out to make sure you own the debt and force them to mail you a verification of debt before you agree to pay anything.
