I just got a text and since I have no idea who they are I called the 8776951619 # and this guy from India gets on the line saying "you have been chosen to receive a 150 err I mean a 200 dollar gas card and a 50 dollar walmart card".  for only 2.95 you can get these two cards.  I told him I want it free.  He said what and I said I'm not paying 2.95 but I'll take it if it is free.  He kept saying 2.95 and I kept saying free and this went on for 6 or 7 or 8 times and then after getting frusturated he hung up on me.

He said in the conversation if I have a Visa which everyone does.  blah blah blah.  Calling vzw now

I got a $200 gas card call.   I asked them to tell me who referred me to them and they gave the same vague answers as above.   After a cat and mouse talk trying to get me to agree to accept this for only a $3.90 charge that I pay when it comes in the mail.   I only need give them the type of my credit card to get started.   Of course, they told me they already knew I had a VISA with an account starting with a "4".   I reminded them this means nothing since all VISAs start with a "4".   I refused to use the words "Yes" or "OK".   I simply said I understand what you are saying.   Since a recorded "yes" could be grounds for proof that I accepted their terms.   When asked, they did give me the name their company and employee id #.    I asked them for their phone number so I can check them out and call him back.   He said I would get that at the end of the conversation.   He finally gave me his "verification" manager.   I asked him for the phone number, explaining that if they were legit, there would be no harm in me calling them back as "Tony" would  still get his commission.   When he said he wasn't authorized.... I then hung up!    No phone call back.   I don't think I gave him enough identifying info but I plan to monitor my bank account carefully, just in case.

Sounds like a scam. Do you guys realize the 'names' of the employers of this company are all general names? like Kim Smith, Mike Johnson, Joe Shmoe, etc.

This is a scam to get your credit card number. I did a web search on everydat shoppers and it said it was setup to steal credit card numbers. An investigation so far has turned up nothing as to who set it up. No one has ever received a gift card from them.

I have gotten a call from these jokers every single night for the past 3 weeks.  They call my cell phone and the number displayed is "(265) 430-007,"  which is not a number that can receive calls, as it only has 3 digits in the last format (rather than the standard 4 digits).  If I try to call this number I get a recorded voice that says, "This number cannot be completed as dialed."

Every single time I have gotten a call from them, I have asked them to stop.  They keep calling.  Sometimes several times each night.  I have finally taken up my coach's whistle and now when I answer, I blast the whistle.  Every time.  I know it's mean, but they are ruining my evenings, and it is illegal to continue to call people who ask not to be disturbed (let alone that I'm on the national Do Not Call list).

I have also reported this company to the FCC and my state's attorney general's office.

1877-6301295 is the number to call to cancel all of this. You'll speak to a customer service person (IN AMERICA!!!! or at least they sound it lol). The woman who I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and polite. She gave me a cancellation confirmation number and even transferred me to her supervisor. I then left a message with that supervisor letting her know that the customer service person I talked to was the only helpful person in this ordeal.

I called AAA and make a mistake of dialing their number instead.  877 489 8092.  after i stupidly given them my credit card number thinking this is AAA I realize something was fishy when they pushed me to say yes to all the confirmation 3rd party verification which I didn't do.  Luckily I gave them the fake phone number so they keep calling that number.   they also call my number from caller ID repeatedly to give me confirmation number so i can call to cancel.  i googled them before and there were lots of people call to cancel without any success.  I ended up having to cancel my creditcard.
I am thinking of report them to the authorities.  Please spread the news to your friends on all social networks so they don't get scam by these scammers.

I received a TEXT for a $40 visa gift card for a $2.00 handling fee from 800-252-7416 with instructions to call them back, despite being on the national DNC List.  I got their information first, which they identified themselves as "Great Fun" in Phoenix, AZ.  I demanded to know who sold them my information and they told me one of their business partners.  I demanded to know which one that was; they said they have thousands.  They insisted they didn't know.  I demanded to speak with a manager and was told the manager was in a meeting.  I asked more questions and was told the marketing department handles gathering numbers.  The guy gave me a number of 800-798-2828 as the supposed number for the marketing department......I find this hilarious, but at the same time reprehensible; it's a number to a sex line.   Yep.....go ahead, check it out.  So I called back and demanded a manager....same kind of block.  finally after my ozzie guillen impression, I get a manager named Peter Jones.  yeah, Peter Jones.  There can't be any way his name was that, with the accent he had....come on.  Anyway, I was told THIS time that the company was named EVERYDAY SHOPPERS.  He chuckled when I told him about the number I was given which I think is tantamount to flipping me off or cursing me, so he got it how he lived and I was hung up on.

Bottom line is a straight refusal to provide information and illegal practices.

I received a call from 877- 472-3388 but its the same company - Everyday Shoppers" as the # above.
When I would not finish the conversation with them, they repeatedly called me. I finally had to keep my phone turned off for the night.

I get the exact same call but ir was from 404-891-6682. He said his name was Jeff Morris from Everyday Shoppers. I told him I didn't have a credit or debit card and he knew I was lying and told me which card I had. Kinda scary... I told him I wasn't comfortable giving it to him and I wanted a number I could call and verify his company information and he refused to give it to me until I gave him my credit card info.

I just got a call from this number. First of all, I could barely understand the guy and his East Indian accent. He specifically mentioned paying a $2 shipping and handling fee in order to obtain my free $20 Walmart giftcard and $50 gas card. I asked him how he got my number, and he said that his marketing firm obtained it based on my recent online shopping. I admit that I've recently signed up for a lot of freebies and coupons online, so it could have been anything! I asked him if he could tell me what specific purchase led him to me, and he couldn't. I didn't feel right about giving my credit card over the phone to someone I didn't know from Adam. When I told him this, he told me their company was called "Everyday Shoppers" and they were located in Phoenix, AZ. He gave me a "12588" employer number (that was supposed to make me feel better, I guess). He also said that when I received my giftcard, I would receive a pamphlet that verified the company's credentials. (Yeah, AFTER I give you my credit card and who knows what other personal information!) I asked if I could use a prepaid credit card (that I got as a rebate from another company) and he said no - his system wouldn't accept it. I said "Why not? It has a Visa symbol on it, says "debit," a regular-length credit card number, an expiration date, and a verification code on it. Just like a regular credit or debit card." He still said no. Finally, when I said "I just don't feel comfortable giving my credit card number to someone I know nothing about." He suggested that I call him back. I decided to open my laptop then and google the company name. I got nothing at first, which made me wary. I told him "I don't see any search results for you online." He acted miffed, and hung up. Then I googled "Everyday Shoppers, Phoenix, AZ" and got this site. Thank goodness for this site! I will use it all the time!
